Felissa went to every stall she was interested in and tried different snacks and foods available for purchase.

"Ah, I’m full. Let’s have a seat," Felissa stated while munching a chicken skewer. She found a nearby bench and sat on it.

"My Lady, can I ask something?" Idola stated softly while looking at the chicken. She was hesitant to ask, but her curiosity got ahead of her.

"What is it?" You can ask me anything," Felissa replied while enjoying the fresh air. Although, her relaxed demeanor was repeatedly broken every time she saw couples lurking around with a smile on their faces.

"My Lady, why does it seem that you’re not looking for your mate?" Idola whispered, making sure no one could hear them.

Felissa raised an eyebrow before remembering the purpose of the event. "Ah, well, we can’t possibly find them until those male wolves tell us we are their mates, right?" she said.

In the realm, only men could determine who would be their mate, while females could only wait for any man that would come and take them home as their wife.

It was a disadvantage to she-wolves, and most of them got f^cked up.

"Yes, but I wonder how the Queen will know if the couple is real mates or not," Idola muttered and took a bite of the chicken.

"Well, I’m sure the Queen have something on her sleeves since she makes this new rule of marrying true mates," Felissa replied, and somehow, she felt pride at Rosina’s achievements. "How about you, Idola? Did you find your mate already?" she asked.

"Ma-mate... Ah, no," Idola blushed so hard that her face looked like a ripe tomato, which made Felissa giggle.

"Ah, I see. Well then, maybe you will meet him today," Felissa stated and looked at the clear sky.

"I didn’t reach 18 yet, My Lady," Idola informed with an awkward smile since she didn’t want to embarrass Felissa.

"Still, who knows that the man you get to know here is your future mate," Felissa stated with a genuine smile while looking at the group of men hanging around.

"I’m not in a rush, My Lady. I want to stand independently before settling down and having a family. It’s hard to raise a pup, after all," Idola stated with a heavy sigh.

Felissa didn’t reply since she didn’t want to add another burden to Idola’s emotions. After all, even though she was raised in a 9th-rank pack, her parents gave her needs without depriving her of food and other necessities.

"Hello, Lady Felissa," a familiar voice spoke behind them.

Felissa turned around and saw Fabio with an uncomfortable smile.

"Lord Fabio," Felissa stood up and curtsied, followed by Adola.

"I’m here to apologize for what happened yesterday, Lady Felissa. I was wrong for saying that out loud and hurting your feelings," Fabio stated firmly and put his hand over his chest to show sincerity.

"Ah, it’s alright," Felissa waved both her hands awkwardly. She was fine with Fabio apologizing, but him saying she was hurt baffled Felissa. After all, she was embarrassed, not hurt.

"Please, let me make it up for you," Fabio stated and grabbed Felissa’s hand without her consent and was about to pull her with him when another hand held Felissa.

"The Lady doesn’t agree with your terms, Lord Fabio," Vicenzo appeared out of nowhere and gripped tightly into Felissa’s hand. He didn’t want to let her go.

"Ah, Sir Vicenzo. You’re here all of a sudden," Fabio stated and forced a smile, but he didn’t let go of Felissa’s hand.

Felissa stood between the two men and looked at them in confusion. She could see the intense gaze each one gave, and it made her agitated since their dominant aura suffocated her.

"Okay, I’m out of here," Felissa stated and pulled her hand back, but she couldn’t. The two men looked at her in confusion, with their gaze glaring at her, which made her yelp.

"Please let go of the lady!" Idola exclaimed and grabbed the two men’s hands, swatting them away before pulling Felissa with her. She became over-protected upon seeing that Felissa was targeted by them.

"I apologize for my behavior, Lady Felissa. It won’t happen again," Fabio stated with eager, hooded eyes.

On the other hand, Vicenzo didn’t say a word before going away, which turned out to be rude.

"And I apologize on behalf of Sir Vicenzo. He’s a little bit grumpy," Fabio stated with a chuckle.

Vicenzo heard what Fabio stated. He turned back and growled threateningly at Fabio before walking away.

"Is he always like that? Cold," Felissa couldn’t help but question. She was interested to know why Vicenzo acted like an emotionless man without a care.

"Ah, enough talking about him. Let me treat you to a good place to eat," Fabio stated and extended his hand for Felissa to take.

"We already ate, Lord Fabio. I need to go back inside my room," Felissa curtsied and left before Fabio could utter another word.

Idola followed behind Felissa in a rush.

When they got back inside the building. Felissa sighed in relief and bonked herself at her bad luck. She didn’t want to interact with them, but fate had other plans.

Felissa went into her room and slumped into the bed.

"Why do I always bump into them? I just want to enjoy this event," Felissa complained under the pillow.

"Perhaps one of them is your mate, My Lady," Idola stated while wondering about the possibility.

"What!? That’s impossible!" Felissa exclaimed. She never once thought she could be mated to Vicenzo or Fabio.

"I’m sorry about my conclusion, My Lady," Idola flinched back when Felissa raised her voice, which took her by surprise.

"Ah, it’s fine. I just want to rest," Felissa muttered, pulling the blanket over her body.

Idola didn’t say a word and bowed before leaving Felissa alone.

"What if... One of them is my mate?" Felissa muttered and thought about being together with either Fabio or Vicenzo. The idea made her spine shiver with delight and fear at the same time.
