Chapter 270: "I Love You"
Rosina looked at the Moon shining above the sky. She sighed deeply and wanted an answer to her question before proceeding to her plan.
"Vanda, I want to talk to you," Rosina stated while staring at the moonlight.
"You called?" Vanda’s voice was heard inside the room.
Rosina turned around and saw Vanda slumped into her bed. "Yes, I have something to ask you," she said thoughtfully.
"What is it? It’s late, and I want to sleep early today," Vanda complained and stretched her body on the comfortable mattress.
"We have known together for a long time and did some unspeakable things, but I still don’t know who you really are," Rosina whispered slowly and walked toward the bed.
Vanda smirked and faced Rosina. "Your curiosity will kill you," she stated playfully.
"I’m already dead. What’s more to come?" Rosina shrugged and didn’t want to play in Vanda’s mind games.
"A dead can get pregnant? That’s surprising," Vanda teased and lay on her stomach while wiggling her feet.
"You know what I mean, Vanda. I want you to be honest with me," Rosina stated firmly and didn’t remove her eye contact from her.
Vanda raised an eyebrow in amusement. She liked how Rosina stood up to her even though she was trying to dodge the topic.
"Ah, well. I guess I can’t escape it anymore," Vanda grinned and stood up, facing Rosina.
"Tell me, Vanda. Who are you?" Rosina asked slowly, emphasizing each word.
"What do you think?" Vanda asked back and opened her arms. She had a broad, teasing grin that urged Rosina to guess.
Rosina pursed her lips. She thought about all the happening around her and Vanda’s involvement that she had tried to ignore before. She also hinted about Vanda’s connection to Draco and how Vanda was helping with the plan that would benefit the Moon Goddess.
"Vanda, you’re the being," Rosina stated firmly, and she saw Vanda’s smile grow wider.
"Are you sure?" Vanda squinted her eyes and circled around Rosina.
"Yes, because you’re the only one who talked about the ’being’ and how it’s bored with its life. That alone is huge evidence of your secret," Rosina replied, firm about her answer.
"Well, you caught me. Surprise! Haha!" Vanda laughed in amusement. She had fun messing around with her creations.
"Do you think it’s funny how you tried to manipulate me because you’re bored with your immortal life?" Rosina crossed her arms. She was pissed at how she didn’t notice that earlier, but she wasn’t angry since Vanda had helped her most of the time and didn’t question her plans.
"Ah, well. That’s one reason, but I want to change how this realm has been going for ages. To do that, I need someone to accomplish it for me since I can’t possibly personally interfere with the werewolf’s life," Vanda explained with a gentle smile. She walked forward and grasped Rosina’s shoulder. "I hope you understand my side," she added.
Rosina sighed deeply. She couldn’t get pissed for long and laughed it off. "Well, things turned out well, for now," she said with a pout.
"Hmm, that depends on you and Draco. My interest in you two is over since you have overcome the given goal. Don’t worry about me interrupting your plans from now on, but I’ll be here to support you," Vanda explained for Rosina not to worry too much about the circumstances.
"Alright. Well, I’ll be conducting a Mating Event soon. I’ll invite you to keep my promise," Rosina giggled when Vanda’s eyes widened in excitement.
"Yes! Finally!" Vanda screamed with excitement and did a happy dance.
"Do you have another target in mind?" Rosina asked curiously.
"Well, who knows," Vanda shrugged, but she already had a target that would benefit her.
"Alright, I won’t ask anymore, or it will get me a headache," Rosina raised her hand in surrender, and both of them laughed it off.
"Since I answer your question, I’ll be on my way, but don’t tell anyone about my existence, even at your darling mate. But if you do, it’s not like they will believe it," Vanda stated with a shrug.
"I’ll keep my mouth shut," Rosina stated, making a zipper act with her mouth.
Vanda waved Rosina goodbye before creating a portal to teleport back to her place, but Rosina asked another question before she did.
"Vanda, if you’re the ’being.’ Does that mean you’re the Moon Goddess?" Rosina gasped in realization at how Vanda had powers unknown to the Werewolf world.
Vanda furrowed her eyebrows. "I’m just a ’being,’ she replied before jumping at the portal without a direct answer.
"Oh well," Rosina sighed deeply in disappointment since she didn’t know what Vanda meant. "Is it a yes or a no? Ugh, whatever," she groaned and slumped on the bed.
For the next few weeks, Rosina and her team started their work to hold the Mating Event. They sent out invitations to every household and all the instructions in preparation for the event.
Everyone was excited about the final date, and the city became busy with customers wanting to be pretty and handsome when the day came.
Two months came in, and everything was in place, from the new buildings and expansive pavilion to occupy everyone that would attend. That event also stopped the ongoing plot against the new Monarch since the enemies liked the idea of finding and marrying their own mates since most seniors knew how miserable life was to be with someone they were not connected to by soul.
Rosina was staring out the window with her tummy that had gone bigger as time flew by. No one knew about her pregnancy except those who worked under them.
"My love, how are you?" Draco asked upon entering the room with a bright smile.
"I’m fine. Just excited for the event," Rosina replied and kissed Draco’s cheeks when he hugged her behind.
"I see. The place turns out great," Draco complimented and placed his head on Rosina’s shoulder. "And I love your scent, sweet roses," he added and sniffed Rosina’s skin.
Rosina knew she had gotten a scent when Draco told her about it. That concluded she was alive and not an undead.
"Hmm. Draco, I love you," Rosina stated softly and faced Draco, cupping his cheeks.
"I love you more," Draco replied and lowered his head to capture Rosina’s lips.
They shared a passionate kiss under the bright, clear sky as their bond’s spark ignited.

"Love isn’t always perfect, and it doesn’t always come easy."
"Love is overcoming obstacles, facing challenges, fighting together, holding on, and never letting go. Love is work, but most of all, Love is realizing that every minute and second is worth it because you did it together."
