Chapter 267: The Real Queen
Rosina smiled and walked toward Draco. She knelt down and hugged him tightly as if it would be the last she would touch him.
"Rosina, answer me. What do you mean?" Draco asked. His mind focused on her answer rather than the physical touch they shared.
"Draco, do you want to build a better world in this realm?" Rosina asked softly while caressing his hair.
"Yes, I do, but I want to do it with you by my side!" Draco exclaimed and pushed Rosina slowly to look into her face.
Rosina didn’t reply and gave a soft smile. "Draco, I hope you understand the situation we are in today. We can’t escape this. Also, I know it sounds selfish, but I’m tired. Draco, I don’t want to deal with this kind of problem," she said with a slumped shoulder.
"Rosina, if I’m in your shoes. I will fight for us. You sound as if you give up so easily!" Draco was pissed upon seeing that Rosina had given up the fight.
"Draco, why will I fight for a spot? That’s absurd!" Rosina looked at Draco with disbelief. She hated the idea of women fighting over men. For her, it’s only for desperate and low-class she-wolves who couldn’t get a d1ck between their p^ssy.
"No, I mean for us!" Draco was desperate for Rosina to understand him. He could feel she was stepping away when they were supposed to fight the problem together.
"Draco, I always wanted to live in peace. You know that, right? That woman will only cause me a headache and might do something to my pup to secure the crown," Rosina sighed deeply before standing up and walking through the window.
Rosina saw Trice talking to several nobles while leaving her child to a Theta, acting as if she was already a Queen.
"Then, you’re fine for that woman to take your place? You don’t have to fight for the spot in my heart and this pack when it already belongs to you in the first place!" Draco’s voice rose up. He hated the idea that Trice would act mighty because of the child.
"But the child—"Rosina whispered, but she was cut off.
"I don’t know how it happened, but I know that woman did something dirty!" Draco exclaimed with rage.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Rosina asked curiously.
"I might be a f^ck boy before, but that doesn’t mean I’ll drop my seeds inside them. I always make sure to avoid unwanted pregnancy from those b^tches. Don’t you think it’s weird? Trice came forward about the pup when I became a King and announced it on the day of the coronation! They plan this! They want to ruin the most important day of my life!" Draco shouted in frustration and grasped his hair. His mind was in shambles since Rosina was giving up and Trice acting like a mighty wolf.
Rosina wiped her tears, and she started laughing in amusement. "Hahaha! This amazing. I guess you can’t attain a peaceful life without another blood bath," Rosina stated evilly.
"Maybe you’re right," Draco shrugged and wiped the dirt from his knees. "I know this will confuse everyone, but I want you to accept the crown, Rosina. I don’t want that woman to get authority from you. You are the only Queen in this realm. I apologize if you have to go through this mess because of me, but please give me a little time to prove that pup isn’t mine," he added and hugged Rosina’s back.
"Alright, I can still do whatever I want, right?" Rosina asked with a laugh.
"Of course you can," Draco replied and kissed Rosina’s cheeks.
"Initially, I want to change and become a good Queen, leading the realm in peace since having wars only leads to useless blood spills, but I’ll change that from now on," Rosina stated and faced Draco. "I’ll become the Queen they’ll regret messing with," she added with a smirk.
"Ah, I always love that evil, psychotic side of yours," Draco’s body shivered with delight when he saw the glimpse of dark light in Rosina’s eyes.
"I might lose my demon powers, but that doesn’t mean I’m a completely useless wolf now," Rosina stated and stared at her hand.
"Whatever you do. I’ll always support your back, just like how I buried the bodies you killed," Draco whispered, and they both laughed upon remembering the earlier days when everything was fun and chill.
"Yeah, I was surprised at how calm you were before," Rosina laughed while shaking her head.
"Of course, after all, I’m doing the same. Minus those mummified bodies," Draco grimaced at the thought.
Both of them continued laughing when the door burst open, and Rocco entered with a concerned look.
"I apologize for the interruption, but we need to decide whether or not to continue the ceremony," Rocco stated firmly and looked at Rosina. He was about to speak about the matter, but she held her hand.
"We’ll continue the ceremony. For sure, they are waiting with excitement," Rosina replied and gave a cheerful smile.
"Alright, I’ll prepare everything," Rocco nodded before going out of the room in haste.
"Are you ready?" Draco asked to ensure that Rosina was ready to face the crowd.
"Yes, I’m always ready," Rosina replied with a smirk before fixing her hair, but she didn’t put back the rose pins and let her hair flow behind her back.
"Then let’s go, my Queen," Draco extended his hand for Rosina to take.
"Alright, my King," Rosina replied and put her hand into his palm. He kissed her knuckle.
They went out of the room, and the crowd became silent while looking at them walking to the center. At the side was Trice holding the baby with a smirk on her face.
Rosina ignored her presence and went back to her original position. She knelt on the marble floor and waited for Rocco’s words.
"Ehem, I’ll repeat my question again. Will you take the honorable role of being the realm’s Queen, Rosina Violante?" Rocco asked nervously while trying to figure out what would be Rosina’s answer.
