Chapter 262: The Rule of Fear
Draco’s eyes widened upon hearing what Rosina stated. "I think it’s inappropriate for us to do that after what happened," he said and waved both of his hands together.
Draco didn’t want to take advantage of the situation, knowing that Rosina was just woken up. He didn’t want to hurt her in any way possible.
"What? Why?" Rosina pouted and pulled Draco toward her.
"I want you to be well first," Draco replied with a gentle smile. He placed his hand over her head and patted her.
Rosina gritted her teeth. She wanted a c0ck inside her, and she wanted it now. She grabbed Draco’s collar and pulled him into a deep kiss, wanting to let her tongue inside Draco’s mouth, but he didn’t let her.
Draco pushed Rosina away and held her shoulder tight, making sure that she wouldn’t attack him all of a sudden.
"Rosina, we have time for that. Besides, I don’t wanna hurt the baby," Draco kissed Rosina’s forehead and placed his hand on her belly, feeling the round shape.
"But..." Rosina paused since she understood Draco was trying to be careful, but she wanted to f^ck. "If we don’t do it now. We can’t f^ck if my belly becomes bigger," she added.
"I understand that, but we should focus on something else," Draco smiled before standing up. "I’ll prepare the ceremony while you rest," he added.
Rosina pursed her lips since she knew Draco had no intention to f^ck or satisfy her needs. Her arousal vanished when she felt disappointed with him.
’What if my life will be like this? C0ckless!’ Rosina thought, and her body trembled. She imagined her lust wouldn’t be filled if Draco kept rejecting her.
Rosina composed herself and stood up. "Then I’ll go on my way," she stated with a nod.
"Okay, I’ll see you later," Draco replied, and his focus was consumed with paperwork.
Rosina went out of the room and looked at Silvio, who was waiting for her. "Let’s eat. I’m hungry," she said and forced a smile.
"Yes, Your Majesty," Silvio replied with a bow.
Rosina started walking ahead with a troubled expression. She kept thinking about satisfying herself alone with fingers and toys without an actual c0ck.
Silvio opened the dining room, and servants stood on the side with prepared food for Rosina.
’Ah, it’s a bit creepy,’ Rosina thought, her eyebrows twitching. She maintained a composed attitude and was about to sit at the opposite center when Silvio pulled the chair for her.
"You don’t have to," Rosina whispered since Silvio had been with her for long. She wanted to treat him normally like a friend than a servant, but he was doing the opposite, and she didn’t like it.
"It’s my job, Your Majesty," Silvio replied before pushing the chair back for Rosina to sit.
For some reason, Rosina felt uncomfortable with how the servants treated her. During her stay in the Palace before under the reign of King Rocco. Everything seemed lax, but with Draco, it became strict.
’Or I’m the only one feeling this awkward atmosphere,’ Rosina thought while glancing around. The servants had a smile plastered on their faces while looking down.
Rosina inhaled and tried to ignore them. After all, she was hungry. On her plate was a warm set of pancakes, eggs, ham and several fruits. She glanced at the hot black coffee.
"Can I have a glass of warm fresh milk?" Rosina asked softly, wanting to be softer with them.
The servants flinched, and Rosina could see the slight fear in their eyes.
"Ye-yes! Your Majesty!" the servant stated and hurriedly went out of the room.
By that reaction, Rosina got a hint at how Draco had been ruling the pack for the last couple of months.
Rosina expected it would take longer to prepare her milk. Hence, she started eating her meal, but to her surprise, the servant arrived after two minutes, holding a cup of warm milk.
"I apologize for the mistake, Your Majesty!" the servant exclaimed with her head lowered.
"It’s alright," Rosina forced a smile and took the cup. She looked at the warm milk before taking a sip, checking if there was nothing on it.
Rosina ate her food silently while trying to ignore the servants around her, waiting for any command. She wanted to eat in peace and comfort, but she didn’t want to kick them out without knowing what had happened to the pack while she was gone, or else she would add another problem.
When Rosina was done, she left the dining room hurriedly and went to the garden. The only place where she could relax for a bit, but when she arrived, her eyes widened at what she saw.
All the other flowers were gone and were replaced with rows and rows of roses in different colors.
"Isn’t this a bit too much?" Rosina whispered in shock. She liked roses since her name had the same meaning, but she wasn’t obsessed with them.
"King Draco had planted them in memories of you. He missed you so much even though he acts like he is fine," Silvio explained with a sigh. He witnessed how Draco searched every pack for each rose seed of every color.
"Hmm," Rosina hummed before walking to the garden, where a pavilion was placed in the middle. She sat there and ushered Silvio to sit in front of her.
"Your Majesty, I should be standing behind and protecting you," Silvio stated firmly and stood his ground, but Rosina became irritated.
"Silvio, sit!" Rosina exclaimed in a raised voice, making Silvio sweat and follow her command. "We should drop the formalities here. If it’s the two of us, I want you to call me by my name," she added.
"But, Your Majesty, I can’t do that," Silvio tried to argue since he deemed Draco and Rosina as the highest Monarchs that needed the utmost respect.
"It’s an order, Silvio," Rosina glared at him. She realized that Silvio would only follow her if she gave a command of authority.
Silvio bit his lips and sighed. "Sure, Rosina," he said and looked away.
"That’s nice to hear. We are friends, after all," Rosina grinned and leaned on her palm.
"What do you want to talk about?" Silvio asked while shaking his head in amusement.
"I want to know what happened to this pack after Draco took over?" Rosina asked seriously.
"I see. You might be curious as to why the pack turns like this," Silvio chuckled and leaned back, his body relaxed.
"Yes, it’s completely different from what I expected," Rosina replied with a shrug. She looked at the Palace walls painted black and the statues of wolves placed at every corner.
"Hmm, yeah. King Draco wants to change the Sabrecrown pack completely and make sure it doesn’t have to resemble the original one. He wants to create a new pack for the realm. The idea is good, but the other packs don’t like any changes," Silvio explained while thinking about what had happened before. It was chaotic initially, but Draco managed to make them shut up.
"And what happened next?" Rosina asked further with interest.
"Draco said he won’t invade their pack if they disagreed with him. It’s amusing how their faces turned pale with fear," Silvio laughed loudly upon remembering the pack leaders’ reaction when Draco threatened them.
"Ah, and seeing how Draco won the battle with Sabrecrown forced them to submission," Rosina hinted, to which Silvio nodded in agreement.
"I don’t know how Draco managed to subdue that demon and make her go to his side, but knowing he holds such a strong ally makes the other packs tremble in fear," Silvio stated with a furrowed eyebrow. Draco didn’t tell him about the demon creature and how they were connected, which made him burn with curiosity.
Rosina raised an eyebrow. She thought Silvio knew about her previous power but realized he had no idea about it.
’Does Draco and Gastone keep it a secret?’ Rosina thought, but it was an advantage on her part since she no longer had the demon power. Although, if it was the bottom line of fear to the other packs in order for them to be submissive, it would be dangerous if they knew the demon no longer existed.
’I need to keep it a secret and kill those who know about the demon power,’ Rosina thought and slammed her hands on the table, causing Silvio to flinch in surprise.
"Oh, I’m sorry. I’m just overwhelmed by this," Rosina played it cool and acted surprised.
"Yes, it is overwhelming. The fear that grows in the packs makes them think Draco is someone who shall not be messed with. That’s why the servants have their defensive side most of the time. They are afraid to make any mistake that cost them their lives," Silvio sighed. He didn’t like the way how the wolves were ruled by fear since it might backfire in the future.
