Chapter 260: The Forced Acceptance

Vanda pursed her lips at what Rosina said. She thought Draco was the father of the child.

"Wow, umm, I didn’t expect you to have that kind of problem. Do you remember the men you f^cked before?" Vanda asked as she sat up and thought about the problem.

"That’s the crisis. I don’t know," Rosina shook her head with a heavy heart. "I don’t know what to do if this child isn’t from Draco’s milk," she added.

"You’re concerned that what you experienced with Cleto will happen to your child once it’s born?" Vanda stated, to which Rosina nodded.

"Yes, that’s why I don’t want to be near Draco until I can check the child’s blood," Rosina replied while caressing her belly.

"I understand, but you can’t hide it anymore. I think it’s better if you tell him the truth. If he accepts the baby or not, it depends on him," Vanda suggested and pulled Rosina toward her. "I know you’re scared about this, but have faith in your mate," she added.

"I don’t know what to do. I don’t want this mate bond to affect my life. I feel restricted to everything I do now since Draco will feel me," Rosina groaned in annoyance. She wanted an easy life without pressure from anyone, especially Draco.

Instantly, Rosina’s body contracted in pain from her negative sentiment toward the mate bond.

"Ack! It hurts!" Rosina shouted and lay on the bed. She hugged herself for comfort since the pain was similar to a million needles poking her skin.

"Rosina, don’t fight it. Accept the mate bond and see what Draco will do to you and the child if it’s not his. Besides, you won’t have a problem if it’s Draco’s blood, right? I’ll be there to help you determine the blood when you give birth, okay?" Vanda caressed Rosina’s face with an encouraging smile.

"But—"Rosina couldn’t continue her words when Vanda put her index finger to her lips.

"Hushed! Don’t overthink. If Draco decided to harm you or the child. You can always reject him as your mate. Well, it’s a bit painful on both sides, but you have options," Vanda shrugged and acted like it was nothing, but her eyes showed excitement for the future.

"Ah, yes. I remember about the rejection," Rosina nodded her head and forced herself upward.

"Hmm, that’s why you should accept Draco as your mate to lessen your pain. It’s not good for the baby. Also, you are the Queen of this realm. I know you have so many things you want to change," Vanda grinned and stood up, stretching her body. "Ah! It will be a thrilling future. Don’t forget to invite me to any ball you hold soon," she added before jumping on the portal.

Rosina waved Vanda goodbye. Her smile vanished and was replaced with a frown.

"Accepting the mate bond. I never see myself doing this before," Rosina muttered and looked at her belly. "But for you, my child. I’m willing to take the risk," she added.

Rosina went to the closet and rummaged for any clothes to wear. She knew Draco had seen her belly, and the Theta heard the extra heartbeat when they checked her pulse.

"It’s funny. I have no other choice in the end. Haha!" Rosina chuckled in amusement. After she fixed her appearance, she went to the window to see what the Sabrecrown pack had become.

"Too many lives have been lost in my hand. I’m tainted with blood," Rosina whispered and stared at her palm. She remembered the days when she killed anyone without remorse. It was a fun time for her.

Rosina saw that the burnt houses were renovated and changed into a different style of homes, but what surprised her the most was the color.

"Black? That’s unusual, but if it’s Draco. Then the color matches him," Rosina smiled before heading out of the door, which was guardless.

The hallway was quiet.

Rosina sniffed the air and noticed she was the only one on the floor. She went out and walked toward the stairs while looking at the renovated Palace that had no resemblance to the old Palace.

"Hmm, the Palace looks creepier," Rosina commented upon seeing the sculptures placed on the side, which were Werewolves and wolf animals baring their teeth.

Getting down on the stares, Rosina saw Silvio waiting for her with a small smile. She thought he stayed with Natale in the 12th pack.

"Your Majesty, Queen Violante," Silvio greeted and knelt on the floor, which surprised Rosina.

"What are you.... Doing?" Rosina whispered and saw the servants around knelt with their heads bowed down.

Rosina took a deep breath to calm her raging nerved. She clasped her hand together and gave a gentle smile.

"Please, rise," Rosina stated and gestured for them to stand up.

"Your Majesty, I’ll assist you where you want to go," Silvio offered his hand for Rosina to take.

"Then, take me to Draco," Rosina replied. She could feel the stares of the servants, but she tried to ignore them as she walked away.

Draco’s office was one floor down from her room and was placed on the end corner.

"Your Majesty, if you’re tired. I can carry you," Silvio stated when Rosina was sauntering.

"Please, Silvio. You can just call me by my name without a title," Rosina stated since she didn’t want to feel the pressure of the role for the time being.

"I... I can’t. I’m sorry," Silvio replied with a sad smile before he stopped and knocked on the door.

"Your Majesty, your mate wants to see you," Silvio announced and opened the door for Rosina.

Immediately, Draco jumped over his seat and hugged Rosina rightly. His head buried into her neck.

"Rosina, I missed you so much," Draco whispered and let himself be vulnerable in Rosina’s presence.

Silvio smiled before closing the door and waiting outside to give them privacy.

Rosina remained standing without hugging Draco back. She couldn’t understand her emotions. It wasn’t long before she wanted to hold him in her arms and see his face every day, but now, all Rosina wanted was to stay away from him as far as she could.
