Chapter 252: The True Bloodline

Chapter 252: The True Bloodline

Draco raised the file to the troops before him to show the proof that he was now the Crown Prince and the ruler of the Sabrecrown pack.

"Hah! We won’t accept this. You are only a Crown Prince! Only a King can rule the Werewolf realm!" the Captain shouted and the rest of his men followed. They disagreed with Draco since their loyalty lies to the Monarchs.

Draco knew it would be hard to make everyone to convince that he was the title holder. After all, his reputation wasn’t that good, and the King and Queen were still alive, which made everyone hope for the old hierarchy.

The undead stopped attacking the reinforcement if they weren’t harmed.

That made everyone stand still and wait for their Captain’s command. The reinforcement came from different packs, but the Captain was the only one from the Mystic Pack.

"Did you forget the rule of this realm about the packs, Caj Pisano?" Draco asked and glared at Caj, who was the Captain.

"You!" Caj shouted, but he couldn’t deny the truth.

"It’s a shame that you are against this rule, Caj. Did you forget that you owned the Mystic pack now because your family invaded it and won before? It’s just the same," Draco smirked and grabbed Caj’s collar, pulling him closer. "If you continue being a b^tch. I won’t hesitate to kill you now," he whispered.

Caj’s eyes widened. His resolve to defend the Sabrecrown pack vanished since he didn’t want his decision to affect the Mystic pack that his parents fought for.

"Alright," Caj stepped back and swallowed his pride. He lowered himself and bowed down. "Your Highness, Crown Prince Draco," he added.

The rest of Caj’s troops followed his actions.

Draco smiled since everything went smoothly without another blood bath. Then, he felt a vibration on the ground. He looked up and saw Rosina’s demon form holding Gastone.

The undead appeared on the ground with the nobles in chains. The most enormous wolf carried the King and Queen inside their carriage but could not escape.

"DRACO! YOU’RE A F^CKING MONSTER!" Cinzia screamed with tears in her eyes. She couldn’t believe losing the war, especially to Draco, whom she planned to kill.

A slap came across Cinzia’s face. She looked at the man before her.

"Shut up, Cinzia," Rocco growled in displeasure. He knew they had lost the pack and weren’t the ruler any more, but he was fine with it. After all, he was tired of being a King.

Rocco wanted to give up his throne, but he didn’t want Gastone or anyone with Cinzia’s blood to ascend. That was how he hated Cinzia to the core but hid it and did his duty instead.

The wolf carefully put the carriage and let the Monarchs outside.

Rosina flew down and threw Gastone beside Cinzia before going behind Draco to support him. At first, Draco’s men were frightened when Rosina went beside them, but they calmed down when she smiled and ignored them.

"Draco, what’s the meaning of this?" Rocco asked calmly while looking around the undead surrounding them and to the reinforcement, who were still kneeling.

Draco showed the file with the royal seal. "I’m the Crown Prince, and I’m here to challenge you, father," he stated firmly.

The next thing Draco needed to do since Rocco was still alive was to challenge him to a duel. Whoever won would get the pack.

Rocco smiled before he laughed loudly. He sounded delighted rather than miserable.

"HAHAHA! This is great!" Rocco stepped forward and patted Draco’s shoulder. He was proud of Draco for what he had done.

"Rocco! What are you doing!? Can’t you see what becomes of your people!? Many pack members had died because of them!" Cinzia shouted and glared at Draco with hatred.

"Ah, I see. Then what about the wolves you have killed?" Rocco replied back. He didn’t care about Cinzia anymore since she wasn’t his mate in the first place. It was a political marriage that he entirely disagreed with.

"Gastone is the rightful Crown Prince. He is the true Monarch of our bloodline. Draco is only your son to one of your b^tches!!!" Cinzia screamed so loud to make sure that everyone would hear her words. "Aside from that, he made a deal with the devil!" she added and pointed at Rosina, who remained calm.

"HAHA! This is amusing," Rocco shook his head and faced Cinzia. "Gastone is not my son, and all of the sons from my concubines," he revealed, surprising everyone.

"What!?" Cinzia’s eyes widened as she staggered backwards, but Gastone caught her.

"You should thank me for putting a roof over your head, Cinzia," Rocco stated with hatred.

"No! Gastone is your son! I bore him with your blood!" Cinzia insisted since she didn’t want to accept the painful truth of defeat.

Rocco sighed. He didn’t want to explain, but he seemed to need it since everyone was now confused.

"I’m extremely against political marriages and value what the Moon Goddess give me, but I can’t escape my faith as the Crown Prince. To be a King, I need to marry you, a high-ranking noble. For my concubines, I don’t force them to have my seeds. I let them find their own mates and live a fruitful life together in secrecy. For you, I know you found who is your mate, and he is your children’s father, not me, but I don’t hold it against you and let you be happy with him," Rocco explained and felt the heaviness of his heart lift. He felt light that the truth was out.

"When I met my mate in the past, I made love with her, and she gave me a beautiful son," Rocco added and faced Draco. "And that is you, Draco. You have the real blood of a future King."

"But I didn’t expect you to start killing innocent wolves and pups for your own selfish gain, Cinzia. You deserve a great punishment for murder," Rocco spat, and his final words made Cinzia fall to the cold floor.
