Chapter 249: The Skeleton Wings

Gastone took a step back. He became nauseous and nearly fell when he lost his balance, but he was able to hold on to the railing.

"Don’t tell me...." Gastone couldn’t say the words he wanted to say. It was hard for him to accept it.

"Draco became the 13th pack’s new leader, but I don’t want you to refer to him as the Rogue King," Rosina stated and leaned forward with a proud smile.

"Hah!?" Gastone couldn’t complain since Draco was still a royal member, and saying that he became a rogue would hurt his image to Rosina.

"Does that mean he won the battle?" Gastone asked in confusion. They always thought Pepe was still operating the 13th pack.

But then, the 11th pack became silent from all the letters they sent.

Rosina shrugged with a teasing smile. She liked how Gastone was trying to put the pieces together.

"Then Draco did this!" Gastone screamed and pointed at the city. "He betrayed the Palace and attacked the Sabrecrown because he wants my crown!!!" he added.

Rosina looked at him with a flat expression. She was surprised that Gastone lost his calm attitude upon mentioning Draco.

"Rosina! He is not a good one for you! Look at you!" Gastone grabbed Rosina’s shoulders and made him look into his eyes.

"What do I look like?" Rosina asked.

"You look dirty! You should be spoiled by expensive dresses to show your beauty. Then you are out here alone! If Draco is a good husband. He must be with you to avoid dirt touching your hair!" Gastone shook Rosina’s body to prove his point. He felt that Rosina was straining away from him, and he didn’t like it.

"I want this," Rosina replied and grabbed Gastone’s hands, holding them in front of her.

"What?" Gastone muttered.

"Draco doesn’t know I’m here. I went here alone to protect him against this pack," Rosina said sweetly. She put Gastone’s hands into her cheeks, cupping them.

"I don’t understand," Gastone shook his head. Their conversation made his head hurt from too much puzzle of information.

"It’s better that way. You should focus on the bigger problems," Rosina replied with a chuckle. She didn’t want to harm Gastone since killing him would be the best thing she could do. She wanted him to suffer first.

Gastone stared at Rosina’s face, trying to let all she said sink into his brain.

"Who are you," Gastone muttered out of a sudden. He wasn’t supposed to say it out loud, but he did.

Rosina’s smile grew wider. This time, it was okay for her to show Gastone her real identity.

"I am Rosina," she answered. At the same time, the side of her mouth ripped, showing all of her pointed teeth.

"Ah!!!" Gastone screamed and was about to remove his hands, but Rosina held him still.

"You want to know who I am? I will show you!" Rosina stated evilly. Her voice screeched so loud that it nearly broke Gastone’s eardrums.

Rosina’s hands gripped tightly into him while she transformed. Her skin turned moldy and ashy; her nails became pointy, coated in blood-red color, and her fiery hair turned white.

"You’re a monster!!!" Gastone shouted in fear. He could feel his wolf panicking inside him due to the enormous power that Rosina emitted.

"No, my dear Gastone," Rosina whispered and pulled Gastone closer. Her eyes glowed bright red as she stared at his soul.

"I’m a demon that will turn this pack to ashes!" Rosina’s voice changed. It vibrated in a high-pitched tone.

Gastone growled loudly. His pride as the Crown Prince won against his logic to run away since his wolf was screaming to surrender.

"HAHAHA! I LIKE THAT!" Rosina exclaimed and slapped Gastone’s cheek, causing him to fly out of the balcony.

Gastone dropped to the tents below, but he was able to adjust his body to lessen the impact. He landed successfully without injuries.

"EVERYONE, TAKE SHELTER!!!" Gastone shouted and pointed above the balcony where Rosina was standing, looking at them like pests.

When the wolves saw Rosina’s figure. They screamed in fear and ran away from that spot.

But where will they go?

The undead armies went straight to the Palace after destroying the noble’s city. The remaining knights alive were running to the Palace for shelter.

"ACTIVATE THE ARROWS AND CATAPULTS. WE SHALL PREVENT THEM NO MATTER WHAT!!!" Gastone screamed loudly, followed by a dominant growl.

The knights hurriedly followed Gastone’s instructions and started blasting the boulders. It hit the undead, crushing the bones to pieces.

It hurts Gastone to think he would kill the undead pack members, but he needed to be strong. He could see the other knights having a hard time killing them, especially since several of them were their fellow knights that turned into enemies.

"HAHAHAHAHA!!!!" Rosina laughed evilly with her arms spread apart. "COME, MY PETS. LET’S CONCUR SABRECROWN PACK!" she screamed, letting out energy to boost the undead army’s strength and power.

In doing so, a crack appeared on Rosina’s back and a pair of skeleton wings spread apart. She flew to the sky and watched her armies in pleasure.

"Rosina, what have you become," Gastone whispered. He was frightened for the future of the Sabrecrown pack.

"Your Highness! You should leave this place! The Monarchs are already set to travel to the forest for safety, along with the royal members," a knight grabbed Gastone’s arms and was about to drag him out of that place.

"We have no place to go," Gastone replied softly. He knew it would be hard for them to fight even though the Blood Moon gave them additional power.

"Your Highness!" the knight screamed in tears. He had already lost his family to the undead and was doing his best to save the others.

"You’re a brave knight," Gastone looked at the man before him. "It will be hard, but we can still defeat her," he added.

Gastone saw that Rosina completely ignored him. A new plan appeared in his mind. He faced the knight and commanded an order.

"Inform the other knights. Go to the 12th and 13th packs. If you see Prince Draco. Tell him he needs to get his wife here," Gastone stated firmly while holding back his pride.

Gastone was the only one who knew Rosina was the attack’s mastermind, and he wanted to remain that way as possible.
