Rosina grinned and walked closer to Gastone. She lifted her hand and placed it on his cheeks. Immediately, Gastone felt the sparks ignited to where Rosina touched him.

Gastone gritted his teeth, grabbed Rosina’s arm, and dragged her inside the Palace walls.

"Are you that excited to be alone with me?" Rosina stated with a laugh. She glanced back at the wolves looking at her; she blew them a kiss since Rosina knew she would be the content of that day’s gossip.

Gastone led her inside the vacant room. "Did you cause all of this!?" he asked with rage.

"Me? How can I mere she-wolf do?" Rosina replied innocently. She put her hands together in front of her and wiggled herself.

Gastone rubbed his face aggressively before looking out of the enormous window where they could see the flames dancing on each house and the undead.

"This," Gastone pointed outside. "Did you do this?" he asked firmly.

Rosina’s innocent facade vanished and was replaced with a maniac smile. "HAHAHAHA!" she laughed loudly.

"Do you have any proof it was my doing?" Rosina shrugged and looked to the side.

"Then why are you here!? You know what you did in the dungeon. You are wanted by the Palace!" Gastone shouted in frustration. Since Rosina showed himself to him. He would be responsible for handling her over to the Monarchs to give justice to her crime.

"I’m ready," Rosina replied and put her hands together, waiting for Gastone to put handcuffs to restrict her from escaping.

"Are you crazy? The Sabrecrown is under attack by some unknown creatures. Yet, you want to add another problem!" Gastone couldn’t help but raise his voice higher.

"I do believe another problem will be solved if you hand me over and imprison me," Rosina stated with a shrug. She wasn’t concerned about what Gastone would do to her. After all, what she said was true.

"Why are you like this?" Gastone whispered in defeat. He saw that Rosina wasn’t the same woman she had met before.

"I’m always like this. You are just blind to see it," Rosina replied with a grin. She walked toward Gastone and looked outside.

"Rosina... Did Draco die? Did you meet Pepe, the Rogue King?" Gastone asked to gather information regarding the 13th pack.

"Why do you ask?" Rosina looked at him with a flat expression.

"You’re right. A she-wolf like you won’t be able to do something this extreme. I always think you are fragile and sweet, like a doll," Gastone whispered with a sigh.

Rosina closed her eyes and turned to the side since she wanted to chuckle, but she chose to hold herself and let Gastone continue his words.

"This must be the 13th pack’s doings. They are rogues in the first place. Who knows what they sacrificed to bring those monsters into the realm!" Gastone exclaimed and fisted his hands to contain himself from raging.

"Hmm, how entertaining," Rosina stated with a laugh. She was amused by Gastone’s words of hate and how he viewed the 13th pack.

"What? It’s true," Gastone furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. He thought Rosina would agree with him.

Before Rosina could reply. Gastone grabbed her hand and pressed it on his chest, feeling his beating heart.

"Rosina, I can help you get away from your crimes. Believe me," Gastone stated softly and added pressure to his hold.

"And what will be your conditions?" Rosina asked with a raised eyebrow. She wanted to see what Gastone would offer.

"Well, since Draco was no longer here. I want you to marry me. Being the Crown Princess, all charges in your name will be dropped. You will be free," Gastone explained with excitement. His eyes showed hope that she would agree with his condition.

"Haha! And you think your mother will agree?" Rosina asked with a smirk when she saw how Gastone’s face hardened.

"She will accept it. Rosina, you are my mate. I can feel the spark between us!" Gastone insisted and pushed himself to her.

Rosina couldn’t help but laugh. She sighed before pulling her hands away. She opened the window and went out of the balcony, and Gastone followed her.

"You talked about marriage, yet your pack is in ruins," Rosina stated and gestured toward the burning city.

"This pack is strong. Besides, our reinforcements from the other packs will arrive anytime. That’s why after this war is over, I want you to marry me," Gastone stated without hesitation. He wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to have Rosina by his side.

"Gastone, about your question earlier. Let me give you an answer," Rosina smiled sweetly and faced Gastone, looking through his eyes.

"Huh?" Gastone tilted his head in confusion, but he let Rosina speak. After all, he wanted answers.

"About the 13th pack. They are not responsible for this attack since the Rogue King is dead," Rosina informed calmly. She took a step forward to shorten the distance between them.

"What? That so-called King is dead? How did you know?" Gastone showed interest and wanted to know more. He had gotten curious about the information that Rosina spilt to him.

Rosina’s arms wrapped around Gastone’s neck. She held him tight and put her mouth into his ear.

"Because I’m the one who killed him," Rosina whispered, followed by maniac laughter.

Gastone pushed her away in shock. That was the time he entirely observed Rosina’s expressions and actions. Especially the way she looked at that moment.

"You... what have you done?" Gastone gasped when he felt the murderous aura that Rosina had concealed a while ago.

"Should you thank me instead since I killed the Rogue King," Rosina pouted cutely, but it didn’t help at all.

"Impossible! The Rogue King is known to have great physical strength. How can you kill him!?" Gastone shouted. He didn’t believe what Rosina was spouting. For them, they were nonsense.

Rosina shrugged. She didn’t want to explain everything for fun to continue. "Who knows," she replied.

Gastone gritted his teeth. He thought Rosina was making fun of him.

"And if you really killed Pepe, who’s ruling the 13th pack right now?" Gastone asked further, but Rosina’s smirk gave him an answer.
