Chapter 242: The Game of Hide and Seek
Rosina appeared on the peasant’s side of the city. She noticed the clothes she was wearing had a hood behind them. She put it over her head to cover her hair and face.
"Now, where will I start?" Rosina muttered and looked at the posters with her face on the walls. She was amused by how the Palace used the poor and blinded them with money to solve their problem.
Rosina walked on the street barefoot. The wolves around glanced at her but paid no attention since they were busy making ends meet.
"I wonder where are you?" Rosina muttered and looked at the other road before venturing through it. She planned to start her kill with a man who betrayed her.
Rosina took a deep breath to know where he was located. She expected him to be at work, but he was at home, to her surprise. A smirk crept into her face as she went to him.
"Ehee," Rosina grinned while standing before an old house. She glanced around at the old men sitting in the corner, drinking alcohol.
An idea popped into her head.
Rosina went toward the old men and crouched down to match their heads. "I want to buy a bottle of alcohol," she stated.
The two old men looked at one another with a laugh. "Pup, we don’t sell this!" one of them stated.
Rosina took a piece of gold and tossed it at them before snatching the bottle in the man’s hand. She left them when they started fighting about who would get the coin.
"Money is really evil," Rosina scoffed and glanced back at the men, who were punching one another. She shrugged and went to the house.
Rosina opened the bottle, but instead of drinking it. She poured it on her hands and sprinkled the liquor on her clothes as if she was a drunkard.
"I’m homeeeeeee!" Rosina screamed and started banging on the door. She staggered back and barged in, using her finger to mould into a key.
Rosina entered the house and closed the door behind her, making sure to lock it back. She heard footsteps running in her direction, and it didn’t take long before Orso’s appearance appeared, but he wasn’t alone. A little girl was with him, hiding behind his back.
"Who are you!? Get out of my house!" Orso screamed and rubbed his nose when he smelled the alcohol. "F^ck, a drunkard. Go back to your room Ara," he stated and pushed the girl back.
"Ohh, what we got hereee?" Rosina’s screeching voice vibrated inside the room. "Did you f^ck her?" she asked and started laughing.
"NO! She’s my sister! Get out, or—" Orso couldn’t continue his words when Rosina screamed.
"Or what!? What will you do to me!? HAHAHA!" Rosina grinned maniacally and walked toward Orso, who stepped back to protect Ara.
"If you don’t want to get hurt. Leave at once!" Orso bared his fangs and elongated his claws to show dominance and threat.
"Honey, why are you like that? You used to f^ck me all night. Why do you want me to leave?" Rosina muttered and slowly removed her hood to show her identity.
"Pri-princess..." Orso stuttered in disbelief. He thought he was fine and safe since Rosina was wanted by the Palace.
"Miss me? I told you before. I will find you, but it seems like you forgot about what you did," Rosina smiled sweetly and winked at Ara, who was looking at her with wide eyes of admiration.
"A Princess!" Ara chirped since it was her first time seeing a real Princess before her. Her excitement beamed, which was the opposite reaction to her brother.
Orso’s heartbeat increased. He was afraid that Rosina would harm Ara and would do whatever he could to protect her.
"Princess Rosina. Please, you are wanted by the Palace, and many of your portraits are here in the city. I suggest you leave before I call the knights," Orso threatened while kept backing away. He was finding a way to escape and contact the knights.
"Do you think I’m afraid?" Rosina said nonchalantly. She tilted her head to the side and grinned. "You must pay for what you did, Orso. It’s a pity since I like you c0ck plunging inside my—"
"STOP!" Orso screamed and covered Ara’s ears so she wouldn’t hear what Rosina was saying. He didn’t want Ara to know what was his original job aside from being a Bartender.
"HAHAHA! How amusing!" Rosina laughed loudly while clutching her stomach.
"Princess, leave my sister alone," Orso stated firmly. He got a hint that Rosina wanted his head as revenge for his betrayal.
"Hmm," Rosina hummed and put her finger on her chin while thinking about what she would do next. "Then, let’s play a game. I love games!" she exclaimed.
Orso bit his lips. He didn’t reply, but Rosina didn’t need his answer.
Rosina leaned closer. "How about you, my dear Orso, will hide in this house while I count from one to 10. I’ll be searching for you in 60 seconds. If I don’t find you, your little sister will be safe," she stated with a raised eyebrow.
"What if I decline?" Orso looked down at Ara, who was clinging to his pants.
"Then I’ll kill you both," Rosina grinned.
Orso growled. He didn’t like how Rosina said those words quickly. "You can’t kill. You’re just a wolf born in nobility!" he fought back and was about to leave when he couldn’t move his body.
"Of course, I’m only a weak wolf," Rosina shrugged and flicked her finger. Immediately, Ara flew toward her arms.
"Ara!!!" Orso screamed in horror seeing his sister in Rosina’s hands. That was how he realized how wrong he was.
Rosina threw a black rock at him. "That will conceal your scent. I’ll count one to ten now," she stated, turned her back, and started counting.
"Brother!!!" Ara screamed and cried, struggling to break free from Rosina’s grasp, but her efforts were useless.
Orso staggered backwards and started running to hide, hoping he would win Rosina’s game.
