Chapter 214: The Golden Hair

Chapter 214: The Golden Hair

Leo flicked his tongue and considered Natale’s condition. He touched the golden stone one more time before sighing deeply.

"Alright, I will give ownership to your daughter, but you need to give this back tomorrow," Leo stated firmly. He was confident that the Palecrest pack would be under his control. After all, Natale went to their pack alone.

"Yes, I will," Natale stated sincerely and extended her hand for Leo to draw out her blood.

Leo smirked and took her hand. He lowered his head and sniffed her skin. "Ah, you’re still tasty, Natale," he stated with lustful eyes before he licked Natale’s flesh.

Natale cringed and was about to pull out her hand, but Leo held her tighter.

"You can’t run away from me anymore," Leo stated with a grin and bit Natale’s index finger.

Natale watched with a flat expression as Leo pinched her finger and pulled her close, putting her blood into the stone.

The golden stone turned red.

Leo bit his finger and mixed it with Natale’s blood as it bound into one.

"You’re finally mine," Leo stated before taking off the golden stone on his chest. "If you won’t be able to get this back to me by tomorrow. Your daughter will die from intoxication," he added and handed Natale the stone.

Natale could see his hollow chest from where the golden stone came from. It looked gruesome and made her uncomfortable.

"Thank you," Natale said softly and wrapped the stone with the handkerchief she had brought with her.

"No, thank you," Leo replied and clapped loudly. He stood up with open arms as he looked at Goron and Beri.

"Finally, we have become stronger! We shall take the 13th pack and unite them with us! We will be irresistible!" Leo shouted and laughed loudly.

Draco squinted his eyes. He didn’t like Leo’s words, but he was delighted to know that Leo had completely fallen into the trap.

Outside the 11th pack’s territory, the warrior wolves slowly lurked in the darkness and crept inside the 11th pack. Each of them held a black ore that neutralized their scents for a couple of hours.

"Then, we shall take our leave," Natale stated and stood up to take their leave. She couldn’t stay there for long with Leo inside the room.

"Wait. Not so fast, Natale," Leo smirked and pointed at Draco, who sat silently on the side. "That man will stay here. I need a hostage after all," he added with a smirk.

Draco nodded his head. He was not angry at Leo’s judgment since he would also do the same if he was in his position. Aside from that, it was a good decision since he could be there at the site when the attack happened.

"Alright," Natale agreed and looked at Draco with worry. Her heart was beating faster than usual as she went for a hug.

"May the Moon Goddess bless you," Natale whispered before stepping back.

"Be safe, Luna," Draco stated softly and bowed down. He contacted Silvio through mind-link about Natale’s arrival at the border and once she was safe. They will plan the timing of the attack.

Natale bid them goodbye. Two warrior wolves from the 11th pack assist Natale at the border.

"Well, where will I stay?" Draco asked softly.

"Hmm, you will be staying in our guest room," Leo replied boredly, losing his composure. He gestured toward Goron and pointed at Draco without a word. He left the room instantly with a happy dance.

"Ah, I’ll introduce myself again. I’m Beri, Goron’s mate!" Beri exclaimed and went for a handshake, but Goron stopped her.

"The 12th pack will be under our pack. No need to act friendly," Goron stated with a growl, but Beri rolled her eyes.

"Can you stop this?" Beri groaned in frustration. She was pissed off by Goron’s constant show of control and jealousy.

"You are my mate. I have the right to decide what’s best for you!" Goron’s voice raised. He felt that Beri was rejecting him every time she disagreed with him.

"Haha..." Draco couldn’t help but laugh. He was amused at their conversation, similar to someone he knew.

"Is this something funny?" Goron asked with a threatening voice.

"Ah, no. You two remind me of someone I know," Draco answered while forcing himself to calm down.

"Who might it be?" Beri asked in curiosity.

"My brother," Draco replied with a shrug. He had seen Gastone being a control freak over Rosina multiple times, and he felt deja vu upon seeing Goron’s actions.

"Oh, you have a brother! What does he look like?" Beri stated with excitement. Seeing that Draco had luscious golden hair made her think that his brother would be handsome too.

"Yes, he looks exactly like this!" Draco stated and pointed at himself. "He has golden hair and electric blue eyes. Although, his face looks more innocent and kind," he replied while imagining Gastone’s facial features.

"Ha! Lies," Goron grumbled, earning Beri a nudge. "What!?" he exclaimed and looked at her.

"Stop being rude," Beri whispered and hushed Goron, but he ignored her.

"I am not," Goron sighed deeply before facing Draco.

Beri laughed awkwardly to lighten the atmosphere between the three of them. She thought of a different topic that would cover Goron from his rudeness.

"Ah! I think I know someone with the same features that looks exactly like you!" Beri exclaimed and stared intently at Draco. "I won’t be surprised if you two are related, but I doubt it," she added.

"Tell me, you might guess it right," Draco chuckled with a smirk. He liked how the flow of conversation between them.

"The Crown Prince Gastone! I saw him twice and couldn’t help but stare at his hair. It’s like a sun!" Beri explained and looked at Goron. The two of them met with Gastone before when they assembled for the Palace meeting regarding the war with the 13th pack.

Goron realized what Beri was talking about. He stared intently at Draco and noticed his eyes were exactly the same as Gastone’s.
