Chapter 212: The Blood Moon

Chapter 212: The Blood Moon

"3, 2, 1... 0," Rosina whispered and peeked with one eye. When she confirmed that nobody was around. She sat up and stretched her sore muscles.

Rosina got out of bed and touched her shortened hair. Somehow, she missed the long hair that she had cut before.

"I need to go," Rosina whispered and was about to run when she smelled another wolf’s scent. She hurriedly went back to bed and opened the cover on the cart as if she was about to eat.

A she-wolf appeared wearing all white. When she saw Rosina, her eyes widened, and she sprinted toward her.

"Your Highness!" the she-wolf greeted with a bow.

"Hello," Rosina looked at her figure and sensed her aura, which showed submissiveness.

"Ah... I’m Elina, a Theta," she introduced herself shyly and kept her head low.

"Elina, what a beautiful name," Rosina stated and looked at the cart where the egg soup was placed, still warm.

"Your Highness, please settle down on the bed. I’ll scope you the soup," Elina stated and hurriedly grabbed the cart and pulled it closer to her, which caused the soup to spill on the side.

Rosina raised an eyebrow. She watched Elina pour the soup into a tiny bowl with shaky hands.

"I’m sorry, Your Highness. I’m sorry," Elina kept apologizing, making herself more nervous.

"It’s fine," Rosina smiled softly and opened her palm.

Elina nodded frantically and was about to put the bowl on Rosina’s palm when she felt her body being yanked forward.

Rosina pulled Elina toward her and snapped her neck enough to make her unconscious and not dead.

The soup spilt into Rosina’s white clothes and into the bed.

"That’s so easy," Rosina muttered and stood up from the bed. She went to lock the door of the room to prevent anyone from coming inside.

Rosina removed her dirty attire and threw them in the trash. She went to the cabinets, searching for any clothes, but they were all the same as the ones she was wearing beforehand.

"Tsk!" Rosina sighed and glanced at Elina. "I guess you will do for now," she said.

Rosina started unbuttoning Elina’s clothes, leaving her naked. She placed Elina on the bed and wrapped her body in the blanket. She ensured that her hair was covered, but her arms were seen to make it look like it was her.

Rosina wore Elina’s clothes. Her eyes glanced at the egg soup; somehow, she had the urge to taste what her mother had cooked for her.

"Next time," Rosina sighed deeply before she looked through the window.

It had been an hour since she heard noises outside where the pack warriors painted themselves black to blend into the darkness of the night.

There have fewer wolves roaming around the 12th pack. Their purpose was to guard the prisoners against escaping.

"Ah, Cleto must be pissed," Rosina chuckled upon remembering what Draco told her about what had happened in the pack.

Rosina climbed over the clinic’s window and looked around, heightening her senses to ensure no one would find out she had left the pack. She put her hair into a short ponytail while running through the forest.

"I need to get there fast," Rosina stated and tried to shift, but her wolf had no energy to do so. Her wolf lifted her head inside Rosina’s consciousness but fell to the ground with a whine.

"Tsk," Rosina bit her lips. She knew her wolf was strong, and knowing that her wolf had gotten weaker made her think of different reasons.

Rosina ran as fast as she could toward the 11th pack’s territory when her eyes caught a glimpse of someone she knew. She stopped sprinting and looked to the side.

There, a woman leaned against the tree with a smile on her face.

"Vanda," Rosina stated with a furrowed eyebrow. She was confused at the sudden appearance of Vanda, even though she didn’t need her help at the moment.

"Did you miss me?" Vanda giggled and flipped her hair while walking toward Rosina.

"Do you need something?" Rosina stated impatiently. Even though she had known Vanda before. They weren’t so close since Rosina was still suspicious of Vanda’s real identity that she had kept hidden.

"Well, I don’t specifically need something," Vanda shrugged and pouted. "Is it bad wanting to see an old friend?" she asked and sulked.

"I need to go to the 11th pack and help them fight. Also, I need the dead bodies for my army," Rosina stated and showed the orb that Vanda had given her before.

"Hmm, you should gather as many dead bodies as possible, Rosina," Vanda stated and stepped closer.

"Yes, of course. There are still multiple packs left to attack," Rosina stated confidently, thinking that the more packs they attacked, the more undead she could create.

"I don’t think you will able to attack more packs from now on, Rosina," Vanda grimaced as she delivered the information.

"Huh? What do you mean? The Palace is still in chaos. We will have enough time," Rosina argued, but Vanda shook her head.

"Rosina, the blood moon is coming in a few days or weeks. There’s no given time, but it will appear in the sky sooner than you think," Vanda informed and emphasized each word for Rosina to take her words seriously.

Rosina breathed heavily. "It has been hundreds of years since the blood moon appeared in the sky," she stated and looked at Vanda with worry.

The Blood Moon was when each werewolf became more psychic, devious and hellish. It would be hard to control each one of them; even the Alpha couldn’t give a rightful command since it was rare for the wolves to listen.

It was when everyone was solitary and would kill one another if they crossed the line.

It would also be when the undead would gain power and speed, which would give an advantage to Rosina’s undead army, but there would be a problem.

Rosina’s true form would be shown, like a skin shedding from its origin.
