Chapter 200: The Sacrifices of Natale in the Name of Love

Natale and Draco settled themselves two meters away from the torture table, where at the end was Cleto being played by the Gamma and Delta.

"What do you want to talk about?" Natale asked with a deep sigh. Her eyes were not leaving Cleto as they had eye contact.

"You see, the Beloric pack will visit this pack tomorrow to see what’s going on with the preparations for war. After all, they are the next pack that will attack the 13th pack if Palecrest is supposed to lose the war," Draco explained and watched Natale laugh.

"We already lost," Natale stated while shaking her head with amusement. Somehow, she felt her chest being lightweight since she didn’t need to put her defence most of the time. Seeing that Cleto was bonded was enough to let her breathe in relief.

"Yes, but they still don’t know what happen to this pack, and I want you to face and talk to them," Draco stated firmly. He wanted to use Natale as a scapegoat to hide the fact that the 13th pack had conquered the 12th pack.

"Okay," Natale agreed immediately, which gained an adverse reaction from Cleto.

"Mother!" Rico shouted from behind. "You must tell them the truth. The 11th pack will help us!"

Draco couldn’t help but roll his eyes. He was disappointed at Rico telling everyone the plan that was supposed to be a secret in order to succeed.

"Nice work, Rico. Now, everyone will know your plot," Draco laughed in amusement. He looked at Natale, who had a grimaced expression.

"You must be disappointed—" Draco stated, referring to Rico’s action, but he was cut off when Natale stood up.

"No, I won’t," Natale stated firmly. Her usual submissive aura and expression changed into a dominant one. Although it wasn’t that strong, but it was still progressing.

Draco gestured for his men to remove Cleto’s mouthpiece and let him speak since he wanted to see the family drama.

Duilio and Biagio stepped back but ensured that Cleto was still securely strapped in place.

"B^tch! Are you going to turn your back against the pack that feeds you! You can’t live without me! Without this pack! You will die and suffer!" Cleto shouted as his saliva splattered in front.

"Yes, open your eyes, mother!" Rico yelled from the back, but he was not helping the situation.

Natale took a deep breath. She was tired, so tired of everything that had happened in her life and wished she could restart from the very beginning.

"No," Natale replied with one word before turning her back. For her, Cleto was not worth her time and energy anymore. She was about to leave when Cleto spoke.

"You and that stup^d daughter of yours are really alike. Two useless b^tches that even the Moon Goddess will reject when you arrive in front of her doors when you two die!" Cleto shouted, followed by a maniac laugh. He had fun every time he saw Natale’s begging face, but it irritated him simultaneously, leading him to beat the sh^t out of her.

"Hah," Natale breathed out. She glanced back and glared at her husband. The boiling water inside her finally spilt. She had enough of the treatment she had gotten from Cleto.

"The day I married you was the happiest day of my life, Cleto. I have expected a happy marriage since I was young. I am madly in love with you that I ignored the red signs waving above your head. You were only a warrior wolf, but I go against my parents will for you! I sacrificed my relationship with them for you!" Natale shouted as she let her emotions take over her mind and body. She didn’t care about the outcome.

"You—"Cleto was about to speak, but Duilio punched him in the stomach to silence his mouth.

This time, Natale’s tears streamed down her face, but that didn’t stop her from saying what was on her mind. She kept her emotions for years and wouldn’t waste the opportunity to ket it all out.

"I never cheated on you! Rosina is your daughter! She has auburn hair. That’s because of my genes! Look at me!" Natale grabbed a pile of her hair and pointed it out. "I have strawberry blond hair, for goodness sake!"

Draco raised an eyebrow and looked at Cleto’s appearance. His hair was in dark brown, which was similar to Rico’s as well. Now, he understood why Cleto thought Rosina was not her daughter; that was because of the hair color.

But Draco disagreed with the beating since no adult in their right mind would beat a child who couldn’t defend themselves.

"You accuse me every time you have the chance. You won’t listen to my explanation even if I beg you many times. I tried my best to work out our relationship even if you are not my mate! But I loved you!" this time, Natale cried out. The pain and anguish were evident in her voice.

"I loved you so much that I rejected my own mate! The mate that the Moon Goddess set for me! All of that is because of you, but what did I receive in return? Huh?" Natale wiped her tears aggressively.

"I’m fine with you ignoring and shouting at me most of the time, but the day comes that it wasn’t enough. You started hitting me! You hit the woman you promised to love and protect in front of the Moon Goddess! You beat me at every little mistake I make, even if you’re just bored," Natale shook her head as she started laughing at what she had experienced at the hands of her husband.

"I have so many words left to say, Cleto, but you’re not worthy of my energy anymore. The Moon Goddess might question my decision to reject my mate, but you’re a lot worst. You’re a monster that doesn’t deserve a small amount of love," Natale took a step forward with a hateful expression.

"Now, I’m done with your sh^t! It’s over. I don’t love you anymore," Natale whispered before spitting at Cleto’s face before turning around and leaving.
