Alpha's Bite Between My Legs -
Chapter 185: The Winner’s Pack
Chapter 185: The Winner’s Pack
Rosina stood before her father with a serious facial expression. She was excited but thrilled at the same time since it would be the first time she peeled off the fake skin she used around her family.
"HAHAHA! What kind of comedy is this?" Cleto laughed wholeheartedly when he realized that Draco wasn’t moving to fight him, but Rosina was the one standing in an offensive manner.
Rosina stood still. She wasn’t afraid of her own father. Her body was even eager to get back at the man that drove her to the edge.
"Ah, seems like the little b^tch finally got some p^ssy to put up a fight," Cleto grinned as he found it amusing that Rosina was facing him without fear in her eyes.
Rosina remained calm. Her father’s words didn’t affect her one bit as all she could think about was taking his beating heart outside his body.
"I, Rosina Violante, will have your head in my hands," Rosina stated and growled at her father. Her bones cracked and deformed as she shifted into her wolf form.
The Draco smiled with pride as Rosina took a step forward to deal with Cleto, but he was concerned since she was going to fight her own father. Hearing their conversation made him conclude that they weren’t close at all, but he wasn’t surprised since he had heard rumors about the abuse being normalized in the Palecrest pack.
"Ha! Using your wolf. You always look weird to my eyes!" Cleto exclaimed before shifting into his own wolf. He didn’t give a single sh^t about Rosina, whether he would kill her or not. After all, he didn’t see her as his daughter.
Everyone near them stepped back since it was a battle between the Alpha and his daughter. Although, the 13th pack warriors continued killing the male wolves while keeping the pups and females tied to the trees.
Rosina and Cleto circled each other and showed their dominance to threaten the other. They growled and snapped their teeth since their animalistic side was in control.
Rosina knew her wolf hated Cleto so much that she wanted to tear him apart. Both of them suffered at the hands of someone that should have protected them, but instead, he was the one that used violence in the first place.
’Calm down,’ Rosina whispered inside her mind to calm her wolf. She didn’t want their emotions to blind their eyes. She knew that Cleto was a strong wolf and needed to be wary even though she was strong enough to handle him.
Rosina didn’t want to underestimate her enemy and always thought of Plan B and C if her current plan didn’t work. Her eyes glanced around since Rico, her brother, was nowhere to be seen.
Cleto’s pride was insulted because Rosina wasn’t focusing on him. He wanted his enemy to concentrate only on him and their battle. He became aggravated and launched an attack on Rosina, aiming at her neck.
Rosina easily dodged his attacks as she ran to the side in defence. She snapped at Cleto and bit his ears, ripping a portion of his cartilage.
"Roar!!!" Cleto’s voice echoed in the forest as he stepped back and wiggled his head. Blood dripped from his torn ear, and that angered him.
Cleto’s wolf growled, and his aura became murderous, shocking those wolves around them since they were father and daughter.
Rosina realized that Cleto didn’t hesitate in wanting to kill her. That was enough to let her consciousness subside and let her wolf take over control. She wanted to be at peace in decision-making for a while.
When Rosina’s wolf took over control of their body. She became more aggressive. All the pain and suffering they received from Cleto sums up, and the memories get triggered as it consumes her.
Rosina’s wolf howled in pain and rage mixed together before she launched an attack on Cleto. She aimed to kill him with her bare fangs.
Cleto’s wolf saw the blood lust in Rosina’s eyes, and he cowered since he could feel a dangerous aura lingering around her, but Cleto didn’t understand. He was confused about why his wolf was backing out, which made disharmony between the two of them.
Rosina’s mouth opened widely as her sharp teeth were ready to tear Cleto’s flesh. In their current position, Rosina had an advantage since she had one goal in mind, unlike Cleto, who struggled mentally with his wolf’s fighting power.
Rosina’s eyes glowed bright green as she was about to reach Cleto, but her body was thrown to the side, and an intense pain was felt digging into her flesh. She looked up and saw Rico from a few meters away from her.
In Rosina’s flesh was a silver sword. She wasn’t affected by the silver, but the wound created by the blade was restricting her movement.
"Rosina!" Draco screamed and ran toward Rosina, but Cleto growled at him as a warning that he wouldn’t go closer.
Draco didn’t give a sh^t about Cleto. All he could think about was Rosina’s safety. Bertrando and Cirino seized Rico to stop him from dealing more damage. They didn’t expect him to pop out of nowhere.
On the other hand, Cleto ran toward Rosina to finish her life, but Draco stepped in front of Rosina and aimed his silver sword toward him, but that didn’t stop Cleto.
Another fight was about to break out when someone appeared in the crowd.
"STOP!" Natale’s screamed so loud that her voice made the birds fly out of the forest. She ran toward Cleto and hugged him tightly, preventing him from moving.
"RAWR!" Cleto’s wolf roared and growled at her, indicating that she needed to get away, but she refused.
"Stop this!" Natale cried out and glanced at Rosina’s wolf bleeding, but her blood was in a different color.
Cleto’s wolf became angrier and snapped at Natale’s shoulder, tossing her to the side. He was about to run and end Rosina’s life when a stab was felt in his back.
Cirino glared at Cleto as he stepped back. He was the one who stabbed a silver dagger that contained a wolf bane to stop Cleto from endangering Rosina’s life.
Rosina shifted into her human form, bare naked for everyone to see, but she didn’t care. Blood dripped from below her chest down to her legs, but she didn’t react much about it. She pulled the sword that was a few inches below her heart.
"I can’t believe you missed it," Rosina stated with disappointment at his brother, Rico. She expected him to at least wound her heart, but he couldn’t.
Since Cleto and Rico were restrained and wounded by the 13th pack, it meant that they lost in the attack. The pack now belonged to the 13th pack, and the remaining Palecrest wolves would become their prisoners.
All eyes were on Rosina as she stood naked.
Nakedness was normal for wolves after they shifted, but since most of the twelve werewolf packs weren’t shifting anymore. It was an uncomfortable sight to see a naked woman after a shift.
But the black blood that leaked from Rosina’s skin got their attention the most. It wasn’t the usual red color of blood.
"Rosina," Draco whispered and took off his shirt, giving it to Rosina to cover her body.
"Thank you," Rosina smiled at Draco before putting on the shirt. The blood was soaked through the fabric, but she didn’t care. The wound was already closing with the help of her wolf, but she could feel the anguish her wolf emitted inside since she wasn’t able to kill Cleto with her own claws.
Rosina went toward Natale, cradling her husband. "Why did you stop me?" she asked with a furrowed eyebrow.
"Because he is still your father," Natale whispered and couldn’t look into Rosina’s eyes.
"A father that would kill her daughter without hesitation," Rosina stated and tilted her head to the side. She looked at Cleto’s unconscious face without emotion other than hatred.
Natale didn’t answer and held Cleto’s head tightly while giving him support through her thighs.
"It always amused me how you love that man so much even though he felt the opposite for you. You’re his punching bag," Rosina rolled her eyes, thinking that if her mate was someone like Cleto. She would kill him in a heartbeat.
Natale smiled softly, and this time, she looked at Rosina. "I’ll be fine if you imprison us and get this pack because it is yours now," she said.
"What!? No! It’s mine!" Rico screamed while squirming at Bertrando’s hold to steady him on the ground.
Rosina glanced at her brother and glided the sword on the grass. "Seems like my little brother hasn’t studied about the rules of the Werewolf realm," she stated with amusement.
"I..." Rico paused as he didn’t know what to say. He knew that if the pack or the Alpha lost the war, the winner would take the pack as their own.
