Alpha's Bite Between My Legs
Chapter 184: The Invaders

Chapter 184: The Invaders

Natale dropped the bundle of clothes she was carrying when she saw Rosina’s head pop outside the hole. She put her hands over her mouth to stop herself from screaming in shock.

Rosina looked at Natale for a few seconds since she thought about her next move. She lifted herself from the portal and faced her mother.

"Hello, how are you?" Rosina stated and walked closer to Natale.

"What just happened?" Natale asked in confusion and looked at the portal that closed right in front of her eyes.

"Oh, that?" Rosina asked and pointed at the portal’s location, which was already closed.

"Yes! You came out of nowhere!" Natale gasped and stepped back when she saw Rosina’s left eye glow; her facial expression was frightening.

"Yes, because I can," Rosina shrugged and noticed that Natale was looking at her like she was a monster. That hurt Rosina’s feelings a little, but she brushed it off.

"You’re not my daughter!" Natale screamed and hurriedly went to the door to escape, but she couldn’t move her body. She felt she was no longer in control when her muscles moved on their own as she faced Rosina.

"How could you say that to your own pup?" Rosina stated in amusement before taking a step forward and caressing Natale’s cheeks which had few visible bruises.

"My daughter is not like you!" Natale screamed and forced her body to move, but she was still under Rosina’s spell.

Rosina didn’t reply as she placed her hand on Natale’s forehead and erased her memories about the portal. Her body went limp and fell into Rosina’s arms.

Rosina placed her mother on the bed and looked at her with a small smile. She never expected Natale’s reaction to being like that. She thought Natale would accept and support what she had become, but she received the opposite.

"Ah, I guess I’m really a monster," Rosina whispered with a chuckle before tucking Natale to sleep. She grabbed the clean clothes and put them on the dusty cabinet.

Rosina shrugged about what Natale told her since she didn’t want to hurt her feelings with mere words from a weak she-wolf who couldn’t even defend herself from abuse.

’I should focus on my goal,’ Rosina thought before getting a pen and paper from the drawer. She noticed that her things were still there, which indicates that no one checked her room while she was away from the pack.

Rosina started writing what she remembered about the letter’s content from the Palace.

[ If the Palecrest pack achieve eradicating the 13th pack. The Palace will reward the pack with five boxes of gold and a noble she-wolf as the heir’s wife. ]

"They’re really a piece of sh^t. This political marriage will end the Werewolf’s powers given by the Moon Goddess," Rosina whispered in disbelief. One thing she liked about the 13th pack under Pepe’s leadership before was that he wanted every wolf to find their mates.

Rosina sighed and was about to write down the date and time of the attack when she heard a commotion outside. There was shouting and yelling.

"Huh?" Rosina muttered in confusion. She folded the paper and tucked it under her boobs for safety. She wanted to know what was happening outside since her gut told her it was an emergency.

Rosina went toward the door and pushed it open when she noticed it was locked. That got her confused since Natale was inside.

"Did they lock her inside this room!?" Rosina whispered and sniffed the air to see who it was. She smelled Cleto’s faint scent outside, and that was enough to answer Rosina’s questions.

"Well, I guess we’re stuck here," Rosina shrugged and returned to her seat, but when she put her weight on, the chair’s legs collapsed due to how old the wood was.

"Ah sh^t," Rosina laughed while shaking her head. She grabbed and placed the chair on the side before she sat on the floor, waiting for the door to open.

Rosina didn’t mind getting stuck in her room. She leaned back on the cold wall and listened to the screams outside. After a few seconds, something hit her thoughts.

"Those screams, this pack is under attack!" Rosina exclaimed in realization, and she couldn’t help but laugh. "Who would even dare attack this pack?" she stated with a chuckle.

Since all the twelve Werewolf packs were uniting together to fight against the 13th pack. There was less possibility that the packs would attack one another for territory expansion. It could also be the other creatures in the realm that decided to attack, but it was highly unlikely to happen.

Rosina closed her eyes as thoughts flowed like water into her brain. "Don’t tell me—" she couldn’t continue her words when the door burst open.

"Rosina!?" Draco’s exclaimed as his eyes frantically searched for her. He saw Rosina sitting against the wall with her mouth hung open in surprise.

"What are you doing here?" Rosina asked with a furrowed eyebrow. She stood up and looked at Draco’s body, filled with blood splattered over his skin.

"Doing my job," Draco smiled and grabbed Rosina’s hand, dragging her away. He caught a vision of Natale’s body lying on the bed. "Your mother?" he asked since Natale looked different from the last time he met her.

Rosina stared at her mother for a while before walking out of the door. She didn’t reply to Draco’s question since she had no particular feelings toward her mother.

"Leave her there," Rosina stated and watched Draco follow her with curious glances, but he didn’t question her decision.

When Rosina went closer to the living room. She saw a couple of dead wolves lying on the floor, pooling in blood. She stopped walking and glanced back at Draco with a flat expression.

"You have a lot of explanation to do," Rosina stated while shaking her head. She never expected Draco to attack the 12th pack, which was supposed to be the opposite.

"I know, but it’s not hard to understand," Draco grinned, pulled Rosina toward him, and captured her lips in a sloppy kiss. "And I miss you," he stated with a pout.

Rosina blushed as she pushed Draco away and covered her face to hide her embarrassment. She walked away outside the pack house and saw the people she used to know when she was a pup painted the grass red with their blood.

"Oh my," Rosina gasped. She was amazed at the number of dead bodies scattered on the ground, and the rest were fighting for their lives. She saw several women running, but they were wounded rather than killed.

"Why are you not murdering the women and pups?" Rosina asked with a furrowed eyebrow. "Your troops are invading this pack. You should have done it well," she was a bit disappointed.

Rosina saw that the warrior wolves from the 13th pack killed only male wolves. She noticed several she-wolves bonded together against the tree and some pups in both genders.

Draco looked at Rosina in disbelief. "We came here to get you because we know you’re going to come back to the Palecrest pack to execute your plan alone, but you’re not alone. You have us," he stated with pride and pointed at Bertrando and Cirino fighting Rosina’s father, Cleto.

"What do you want us to do with your father?" Draco asked and watched Rosina’s facial expression turn to hate.

"Don’t touch him. He’s mine to feast on," Rosina growled and didn’t remove his gaze from Cleto.

Draco nodded in understanding before communicating with Bertrando and Cirino. He knew there were internal family conflicts between Rosina and her family, but he didn’t want to ask. He was waiting for Rosina to tell him instead.

Bertrando and Cirino ran back to escape Cleto’s attack; they were in their wolf form, while Cleto was in his human form with a colossal Axe made of silver.

"Come back here! F^cking cowards!" Cleto screamed and found it annoying that Bertrando and Cirino went away without fighting till the end.

"They’re not your enemy," Rosina stated behind Cleto with a muted reaction.

"Ah! What are you doing here!" Cleto shouted when he saw Rosina behind him. He was surprised since he had locked Rosina’s door earlier when Natale went inside to give Rosina some dresses for her stay.

"I am here to take away your title," Rosina replied, indicating that she would challenge Cleto to get the Alpha role from him.

"You got a lot of nerve to say sh^t like that!" Cleto was pissed. He didn’t like how Rosina’s attitude changed, but when he saw Draco behind Rosina from meters away. He laughed in amusement.

"Ah, I see. Your husband is still alive. Do you think he can win against me!? I am more powerful and bigger than him!" Cleto boasted and made his body bigger by sucking air. He thought Draco would be the one fighting him, but he was wrong.
