Chapter 150: The Jealousy of an Omega

Chapter 150: The Jealousy of an Omega

Rosina was back in her room after a long day she had with Fina and Sal. She didn’t spend much time with them since they had other chores to do since they had no master to serve personally.

Fina and Sal became normal servants in Draco’s residence and had been serving him if he called for them.

Currently, Rosina was pacing back and forth while looking at the glass of cubed sugar. Her mind was in disarray at what she had found out. She thought Fina and Sal were someone she could trust since they helped her since the day she arrived at the Mating Event.

"The more I think about it, the weirder it gets," Rosina muttered. She remembered the talk she had with the two about them getting promoted to a higher position of Omegas if their appointed noble marry someone from the royal family, but now, they were trying to cause chaos and harm.

Rosina stopped walking as her thoughts came to one conclusion. "The Queen must have done something to force those two into her minions!"

Rosina mentally noted herself to find out the goal of Sal and Fina in Draco’s residence since it could affect her plan, especially if someone with great power was involved.

"Now, what are you made of?" Rosina muttered and opened the container, taking one cube. She placed it on a piece of paper and looked at the particles to spot something different.

"It really looks like sugar," Rosina muttered and was about to eat the cube, but she stopped since there were only five cubes and if one goes missing meant she took one and she didn’t want to appear suspicious.

"I need to be careful now," Rosina placed back the cube and scraped the outer later. She dipped her finger and licked it. The taste was bland, and it wasn’t made of sugar.

"Fascinating," Rosina stated flatly and returned the cube to the container.

"They are clever, but they underestimate me. I can’t blame them anyway. After all, they don’t know my real identity," Rosina muttered with a smirk and sat back on her bed. Her eyes were glued to the cubes.

"But they missed one thing," Rosina whispered and her eyes glowed in bright green. "Draco, doesn’t put sugar in his coffee."

——

For the next two days, Rosina finished the lessons she had with Fina and Sal. Everything was normal and there was nothing suspicious aside from the cubes of sugar.

"You’re doing great! Make sure to please the Third Prince with your service!" Sal exclaimed with bright eyes. They were currently in the garden and were gathering red roses for Draco’s room vase.

"Yes, I will!" Rosina exclaimed with a smile. She gazed at the beautiful roses, but the thorns pricked her finger, causing her to draw blood.

"Rosalina! Are you okay?" Sal gasped and took out her handkerchief, placing them on Rosina’s wound.

"Yes, it’s only a small cut," Rosina acted like she was in pain, but in reality, she felt nothing. Her wolf already healed the wound and was now back to normal.

"The roses are beautiful, isn’t it?" Sal exclaimed and smelled the rose she plucked. She looked at the rose and admired the color.

"They are," Rosina replied and remembered the conversation she had with Fina about the most beautiful flowers.

"It’s a pity that they are the ones that get plucked from their life source," Fina muttered and cut the most bloomed rose in front of her.

"Ah, Fina, what are you saying?" Sal pouted and acted childlike but Rosina knew it was all a facade and she was dominant between the two of them.

"I guess it’s just nature. We are all drawn to nice, beautiful things," Rosina stated softly and touched the rose petal.

"Okay, that’s enough. Since your training is over. I believe you’re ready!" Sal exclaimed awkwardly and stood up from the ground. "You can arrange these roses after serving Prince Draco his cup of coffee in his office. Be sure to put a cube of sugar or he will be angry."

"Alright, thank you for your patience," Rosina lowered her head with a soft smile before leaving Fina and Sal alone in the garden.

Sal’s smile vanished from her lips and her expression changed to spiteful. She stared at Fina and gestured for her to follow Rosina.

"Make sure she will do her job well. Our mission must not fail," Sal whispered with deep hatred.

"Yes, I will," Fina pursed her lips and nodded before following Rosina discretely.

"The Third Prince must die as soon as possible," Sal muttered to herself before chuckling. She could feel the victory crawling into her veins thinking about the reward she would get from the Queen after completing their mission.

’Who wants to stay as a servant and become a noble’s caretaker?! Ha! Not me!’ Sal thought and rolled her eyes before walking away with a happy smile.

Sal and Fina always wanted to strive more as a servant. When they were placed to a lower rank noble back in the Mating Event. It was the most devastating thing that happened to them since they wanted someone who could give them a good life.

The two of them sucked it up and helped Rosina gain the attention of the Princes who joined the event, hoping she would be noticed. In the end, it all worked out and their rank increased as they became a servant of a future royal member, which meant a salary increase.

It was going well, but Sal wanted more. She got jealous that the nobles were rich and could buy anything they wanted, which most omegas couldn’t afford.

Sal was loyal to Rosina, but every time she saw her rejecting the expensive clothes and pieces of jewelry and rather wear something simple, it simply boiled her blood.

For Sal, Rosina was unappreciative and ungrateful for her luck to be born as a noble. Those thoughts continued to grow and one day, Sal grew to hate Rosina, but hide it with her cheerful smile.

Sal saw that Fina remained loyal and became content with what she received. That even made Sal aggressive since she wanted Fina to have the same mindset as hers.

One day, when Rosina arrived and received a lot of clothes from Gastone and decided not to wear them. That was Sal’s last line before her jealousy skyrocketed. She went to the part of the garden where it was dark to prevent anyone from seeing her.

"Ah! Ungrateful nobles!" Sal exclaimed and pulled out grass to vent her anger. "They should appreciate those expensive things that an omega like me can’t buy! Such a b^tch!"

"Do you want jewelry and expensive gowns?" a female voice spoke from behind.

Sal turned around to see a figure in the shadows. She couldn’t see her face clearly and her scent was confusing her.

"Of course! Who doesn’t want those things? Also, who are you!? You don’t work here in the residence!" Sal stood up and glared at the unknown figure.

"Hmm, do you want to earn more money?" the voice stated.

"Yes!" Sal didn’t hesitate to answer. All in her mind was how she could earn more money to buy the stuff she wanted.

"But you need to do something in return."

"I will do anything as long as you pay me a huge amount of gold!" Sal exclaimed and knelt on the ground to show she submitted herself.

"Anything? Then how about killing a wolf?" the voice turned menacing, liking how the situation was going on.

"K-kill!?" Sal was shocked. She breathed heavily and thought about getting her hands tainted with blood, but thinking about the gold clouded her logic.

"Yes! I will do it!" Sal replied and gulped heavily.

The moment Sal replied. Someone put a black bag over her head to prevent her from seeing. Sal panicked and trashed around until she felt someone take hold of her neck.

"We will take you to your new owner. You want gold, right? So stay still," the voice stated and that made Sal stop moving around and let them take her.

Sal was taken to a carriage. It was a long, silent ride since she didn’t dare open her mouth to avoid trouble. She was taken to a secret room.

The wolves put Sal on the cold floor and made her kneel. They took off the head cover and stepped out, guarding the door outside.

"Where am I?" Sal uttered and rubbed her eyes to adjust them from the darkness.

A candle lit in front and showed a woman wearing an elegant gown sitting on a chair. Her eyes gazed at Sal with amusement; next to her was a box full of gold.

Sal’s eyes widened when she saw who was before her. She immediately lowered her head to the floor in submission.

"Your Majesty!" Sal exclaimed and her body began to tremble. She didn’t expect to meet the Queen at that place.
