Chapter 111: The One Who Think She Cheated

Rosina and Violetta stood in front of one another. They were currently inside a huge circle formed by the other werewolf, and Pepe was standing in the center.

"Rose, are you willing to accept her challenge?" Pepe stated with concern. He knew that Rosina had already defeated Violetta in an unknown challenge, but he knew that Violetta was an excellent warrior in battle.

"Yes," Rosina answered and gave a meaningful look to Violetta.

Pepe nodded and took a step back. "Then the challenge will begin now!"

Violetta protracted her claws and growled loudly at Rosina, but she didn’t attack. It was a move to show her dominance and intimidation against Rosina.

Rosina remained calm and walked to the side as they encircled one another. Observe each other’s movement and wait for the one who would strike back.

"You think you can trounce me?" Violetta whispered, followed by a growl.

"I think I already did," Rosina giggled without leaving her eyes on Violetta. "Did you enjoy it?"

"You!" Violetta was triggered by Rosina’s words, indicating the sexual history that happened between them.

Violetta launched an attack first and aimed at Rosina’s neck. Her claws extended, and were ready to kill.

Rosina smirked and easily dodged the attack, kicking Violetta’s area behind the knee to make her buckle. When Violetta fell to the ground, Rosina used her other leg and kicked Violetta’s head, causing her to lose consciousness.

Everyone was silent, with their mouths hung open in shock. They expected a bloody fight between werewolves, but the duel ended as soon as it started.

"What just happened?" Tonia muttered and rubbed her eyes to ensure she wasn’t seeing things.

Rosina stepped back and waited for Violetta to stand up, but she wasn’t moving.

Pepe moved to check on Violetta’s condition and sighed deeply when she was still breathing. He lifted Violetta and stared at Rosina with a smile.

An old man from the crowd approached Pepe and extended his hand to take Violetta.

"Your daughter did well," Pepe stated and handed Violetta to her father. The man didn’t say anything and bowed before leaving.

The crowd began cheering for Rosina since she had won the short battle. Several of them gathered around her with admiration. After all, they wanted to get Rosina’s attention for their own gain.

"You’re our Queen!"

"Where did you come from!? How did you fall in love with our King?"

"It must be nice to see heirs to the throne soon!"

"Would you like to have tea in my home, my Queen?"

Those words rang in Rosina’s ears that she wanted to escape the crowd. They asked her multiple questions and invited her to their houses. It was overwhelming for Rosina since, in her eyes, they were still strangers.

"Ahem!" Pepe cleared his throat to caught everyone’s attention. "Please, let the Queen breathe for a while."

Everyone bowed and took a step back to give Rosina some space. They were also afraid of Pepe’s intense glare toward them.

"My Queen, let’s go back to our chambers," Pepe said and extended his hand. His words were enough to make the werewolves around them grin meaningfully.

’His sentence sounded suspicious,’ Rosina thought and glanced at the werewolves, and they looked flustered.

"I knew it," Rosina muttered to herself. Even for her, Pepe’s sentence sounded like they were about to have sex, not that she minded it.

"What is it?" Pepe asked and tilted his head.

"Nothing! I will follow you, my King," Rosina stated with loving eyes and took Pepe’s hand with her. Both of them returned to the Castle as everyone was cheering behind their back.

When they arrived inside, Rosina removed her hand and created some distance from Pepe. That action broke Pepe’s heart.

"Is there something wrong?" Pepe asked in concern, but Rosina shook her head.

"I’m hungry. I’ll eat some sweets?" Rosina stated and forced a smile, but before Pepe could answer. She started walking away toward the kitchen area.

"Wait— " Pepe extended his hand to stop Rosina, but his voice was unheard. He groaned and massaged his scalp. He couldn’t understand why Rosina acted that way, but what frustrated him most was he didn’t know how to comfort her.

Rosina thought she was fine with the events that happened to her, but her chest was tightening for unknown reasons. She felt that she had cheated on Draco, and that thought baffled her.

’Why am I feeling this way? I literally f^cked men when I was with Draco, but why do I feel like I cheated on him with Pepe?’ Rosina thought and grasped her hair, trying to forget that idea.

’What’s the difference between f^cking other men and being introduced as a Queen? None!’ Rosina gritted her teeth and pushed the kitchen door open, revealing the surprised faces of the workers.

"M-my Queen!" they exclaimed and immediately bowed, leaving their work to give Rosina the respect she deserved.

"Hi," Rosina calmed her nerves and smiled politely at them. "Did I disturb your work?"

"No, my Queen. We are always ready to serve you?" Ugo Mele, the head Chef, stated. He looked up and cleared her throat, signaling those under him to start working.

"Well, can I request a delicacy I have been yearning to eat?" Rosina asked and put her hands behind her back since she was trembling a little and didn’t want Ugo to see.

"Yes, anything for the Queen!" Ugo exclaimed. He felt happy that Rosina came up to him to talk, a person with a high ranking in the pack.

"Thank you. Then, can you make milk cookies for me and fresh warm milk on the side?" Rosina stated with anticipation. She hadn’t drunk milk since she arrived at the 13th pack and her throat was yearning for the taste.

Ugo was confused at Rosina’s milk request but didn’t question her. "It’s an honor for me to serve you, my Queen. Your request will be delivered back to your room as soon as possible!"
