Chapter 106: The Red Wolf

Rosina’s eyes twitched while forcing herself to smile. In front of her was Tonia, Delta Cirino Endrizzi’s mate.

"Are you our King’s mate? Are you going to be introduced to the pack? Did the two of you have sex already?" Tonia blurted out the questions the moment she arrived at Rosina’s door. Her eyes were sparkling with anticipation of being answered.

"Ah..." Rosina tried to calm down, but Tonia’s aggressive manner was pissing her off.

Tonia snapped out of her excitement when she noticed Rosina’s behavior wasn’t mirroring her own. She remembered that she was talking to someone she had just met and, most of all, the King’s counterpart.

"My Queen, I apologize for my behavior. I’m excited to meet you and wasn’t able to contain myself," Tonia lowered her head in submission, followed by a whimper.

"It’s alright. I’m just a bit tired," Rosina stated to calm Tonia since she looked like she was on the verge of tears. "You’re here to tour me around, right?"

"Ye-yes," Tonia replied with a nod.

"Then, should we start?" Rosina stated with joy, making the atmosphere between them better than awkward.

Tonia lowered her head and gestured for Rosina to walk first.

’I would rather have her walk in front of me so I could follow her,’ Rosina thought while glancing back at Tonia, who was walking behind her.

"My Queen, do you have something in mind for this tour?" Tonia asked calmly, but her voice held excitement. Even her face showed what she felt.

Tonia had wrinkles appear at the corners of her eyes. Her cheeks raised, and a defined wrinkle ran from the sides of her nose to the corner of her mouth.

Rosina thought about Tonia’s words. She didn’t have any particular idea about the tour since she felt it was Tonia’s responsibility.

"Hmm," Rosina hummed and thought about what could bring her an advantage. If she wanted to stay there and become the replacement Queen, she needed the pack’s trust her to do what she wanted without them being suspicious.

"Then, I want to meet the Omegas," Rosina stated and smiled at Tonia.

"What!?" Tonia exclaimed since it shocked her that Rosina wanted to meet the lowest rank in the pack rather than those who held power.

"My Queen, why would you like to meet the omegas? If it’s okay for me to ask," Tonia whispered. She got curious about Rosina’s reason.

"Nothing," Rosina giggled and faced Tonia, who was slightly shorter than her. "Also, call me Rose. I would be awkward if you kept calling me Queen in front of everyone."

"Ah! okay," Tonia flinched as she realized that Rosina wasn’t introduced to the pack yet. "Miss Ro-rose."

"Rose is fine. How do you want me to address you?" Rosina asked, pertaining to Tonia’s title.

"Then you can call me Tonia as well!" Tonia exclaimed with sparkles in her eyes. She felt that she had become closer to Rosina, like a best friend. She had always wanted to have one since the pack had a more male ratio than female.

"Alright, Tonia, let’s go," Rosina smiled and gestured for her to lead the way toward the Omega’s chambers.

"R-rose," Tonia coughed since saying Rosina’s name was foreign to her tongue, especially without the title. "The Omega’s living quarters are the furthest on the pack territory. We need to walk for quite a while."

"It’s fine by me," Rosina stated and showed that she didn’t care about getting her dress wet.

"I thought— never mind," Tonia giggled. She had thought a noblewoman like Rosina wouldn’t want to tire their feet and dirty their clothes from dust and mud.

"What is it?" Rosina asked, but Tonia shook her head.

"We can also shift into our wolf form for faster travel, but we need to change clothes," Tonia looked at the dress Rosina was wearing.

"I think we do," Rosina giggled.

It was common knowledge that once you shifted into your wolf form. Any clothing you wear would rip apart due to the change in the physical body, and you’ll be b^tt naked when you transform back.

Tonia led Rosina into her room and lent her some loose clothes since they were wearing expensive and complicated dresses that would be hard to wear multiple times after the shift.

"Have you shifted before?" Tonia asked when they stood outside the Castle grounds.

"I did... a long time ago," Rosina whispered with a chuckle. She hadn’t shifted into her wolf form when she became an adult.

"Do you want to shift? You’ll be in pain if you force it," Tonia was worried about Rosina’s well-being and that she might get scolded by Pepe if Rosina was put in danger.

"Don’t worry about me," Rosina smiled and caressed Tonia’s cheeks, feeling the softness of her skin. "You’re very pretty."

"Ah!" Tonia squeaked, and a pink tint appeared on her cheeks due to Rosina’s compliment. "Thank you."

Rosina smiled before walking behind the tree to undress and shifting into her wolf form. She was eager to be on her animalistic side and feel the freedom of running in the forest.

"AH!! f^ck!" Rosina gasped for air when her bones started shifting in a different position. Her screams of pain echoed in the area, along with her bone cracking in place.

Tonia held her mouth with worry. She wanted to check on Rosina’s condition, but she might endanger her life since werewolves could become aggressive while in pain.

"Should I mind-link the King?" Tonia whispered and was about to open the mind link when Rosina became silent.

That was when a giant wolf appeared behind the tree and strutted toward Tonia. The size was larger than the original she-wolves, but its color made Rosina’s wolf peculiar.

Red, similar to fire, colored Rosina’s fur with black paws. Her eyes, instead of black, were bright neon green that stared into Tonia’s soul.

"R-rose, you’re beautiful," Tonia gasped at Rosina’s beauty. It was the first time she had seen a wolf with such features.
