Ever since I was a boy, I had wanted to know how it felt, I wasn’t after money, I wasn’t after sex or even power all I had wanted since I drew my first breath was to know how it felt to be above all else, Being born as a low rank with nothing to his name I wanted to know what it was like to have everything, to be unopposed. That’s why I had worked so hard, I had killed, I had betrayed because my goal was all that mattered to me.

"You are all men of silver hollow!" I addressed the rows of men who stood in single files like they were in an assembly as I looked down at them from the edge of my office balcony.

"You are men of pride and men who demand respect!", they murmured in agreement, Useless bastards I thought as I looked at the greedy smiles on their faces.

"Howlcreek has for too long stood at the spot where you belong! it is time for us to take back what we deserve!" I shouted and they all cheered, my stomach turned as I spoke, what did these men think they deserved? When I came to Silver Hollow I was like them only that I had more than a grain of ambition than all of them combined, I walked towards my goal step by step even if it took me years upon years but these men, all their lives they’ve waited for people to lead them, for people to hand what they thought they deserved to them, it was pathetic, But still I was thankful, its easier to use a greedy man than an ambitious one.

"Now go and serve your pack!" I ordered and they all cheered valiantly like men ready for war. I turned around and walked back into my office where Leo and Lucas waited for me.

"Nothing worse than weak men who think they’re strong," Leo commented.

"Well props to them, They volunteered to die for my cause," I said calmly looking back at the dispersing lines.

"What are we gonna do about the other problem, last I remember you can’t get to the peak when they police every action you make," Lucas said, I turned to look at him and smiled.

"My friend, Don’t worry about something till I tell you to." I said "The humans aren’t a problem to me.", Lucas let out an inaudible chuckle.

"That amount of cockiness is what allowed me to put a knife through David Langdon." He reminded me but there was no need, I was well aware of the kind of man that sat before me.

"Your subtle warnings are appreciated my friend but lemme remind you, you will die before you betray me," I said, a smile on my face but my voice coated with layers of malicious intent.

"skip along now Lucas, For now, you’re no longer needed," Leo said with a smile curving his lips, He shot angry glances at the both of us before he stood up and walked out of the office.

"You do know he’s gonna betray you," Leo said slight worry in his voice.

"The day I made him my advisor, I knew he would" I answered "I’m counting on it.", I could still see the distraught look in his eyes in his eyes.

"You’re not sure I know what I’m doing?."

"I would never doubt you, but–, I don’t like the way you underestimate that piece of garbage." He voiced.

"I don’t underestimate Lucas, I know exactly what he’s capable of so don’t worry, I’m in control," I assured and with those words, the look in his eyes faded as a smile curved his lips.

"You’re in control," he repeated.

"Good Man." I said as I gently tapped his shoulder "I’m going out, keep things in check while I’m gone."

"That goes without saying," Leo responded as I walked out of the office. Leaving the building I went straight to my car and entered it, the tinted glasses hiding me from the outside as I pulled down the rearview mirror and looked at myself my eyes began to glow, and my facial hair began to grow till my jaw had been covered by brown facial hair, my grey eyes sunk in and turned a faded yellow and my nose darkened and became smaller. Not only had all the changes made me look younger but looking back at myself I was unrecognizable, but one thing was the same, my voice, I closed my eyes and focused, by visualizing it I was able to partially transform and reconstruct my vocals cords, Now my voice was throaty, a large contrast from how deep and smooth it usually sounded If I was seen now not even Leo would recognize me, I let out a tired sigh as I started the car and drove away.

I drove to a parking lot two hours away then got on a bus that drove for thirty minutes more before I was finally where I needed to be, ’Everling’ one of the largest cities in the human sector, a residential area and also the location of the headquarters of I.O.W.A; the International organization of werewolf affairs. The bus stopped in front of a residential building and I got off, tired from sitting still for so long I stretched a bit before I walked to the door in stride, I walked through the double doors and straight to the elevator then I punched the level I wanted to be at and the elevator began to ascend, In no time it had gotten to the top floor and the doors slid open, I stepped out and took a right down the hall of doors till I got to one that had ’3B’ written on it. I paused for a brief moment and took in deep breath, I remained still for a few seconds just staring blankly at the door then a smile crossed my lips as I pushed the door open and was immediately welcomed by her familiar scent.
