Chapter 155: Chapter 155: Quarrel

When she returned to the hotel, it was already midnight. Isabella Weaver came out of the shower and stood by the hotel’s floor-to-ceiling window, feeling like everything was a beautiful dream. She hadn’t been this happy and carefree in a long time.

Everything Harry Hunter brought was unprecedented.

Most importantly, she felt the breath of complete freedom. She didn’t need to restrain herself, nor was she shackled; she could follow her heart and do what she wanted to do.

This is life!

Harry Hunter watched Isabella Weaver standing by the window in a bathrobe. Her gaze transitioned from hazy to clear, and finally became resolute. Then she opened her laptop, searched for some information, and began sketching.

His eyes were filled with unconcealed shock. This little girl was too driven. He thought that after enjoying today, she would come back, exhausted, and go to sleep. Unexpectedly, she was full of energy and started working!

Could it be that he married a workaholic wife?

What should he do now? He’s already a workaholic himself and originally wanted to relax with his lovely wife. But seeing her so driven, he felt awkward about taking it easy.

In the past two days, she had drawn jewelry design sketches of different styles and submitted them to several small jewelry companies. Her direction was already very clear.

He gave Isabella Weaver a kiss and went off to handle company and Hunter Family matters.

Leon Hunter and Ben Hunter were about to blow up his phone. If he didn’t answer, they might just storm into N City.

As soon as the call was connected, Ben Hunter’s roaring voice exploded: "You brat, bring your grandmother back from the Lewis Family immediately! You’ve made her sick with anger!"

Harry Hunter remained unmoved, ignoring the outburst and said, "I’m preparing for a formal wedding with Isabella."

"What?!"

Leon Hunter’s voice also came through the phone: "Your grandmother is sick with anger, and you’re thinking about having a wedding? You better take Isabella to apologize to your grandmother now. If you don’t coax her back home, don’t bother coming back!"

"She’s just faking illness; this trick won’t work on me anymore."

Harry Hunter had been fooled by this tactic once before. There was no way he would fall for the same trick a second time.

"Besides, the villa you live in is now mine. I don’t know if you and that mother-son pair have moved out yet. Next time I return, I don’t wish to see people I don’t want to see."

Leon Hunter was so angry he couldn’t speak for a while. A son so determined to push his father out must only be Harry Hunter!

"Hasn’t Aunt Winters treated you well enough? She treated you like her own son, better than she does her own son. And now, you’re repaying kindness with ingratitude, trying to drive them out of the Hunter Family? As long as I’m alive, you can’t drive that mother and son out!"

Harry Hunter suddenly stood up from the sofa, his voice cold: "If you favor Amy Winters so much, why did you marry my mother in the first place?"

"I was forced!"

"You wanted her background! The Hunter Family climbed to the top of the rich list over the corpses of my mother and my grandparents!"

"Shut up!"

Leon Hunter and Ben Hunter shouted in unison.

On both ends of the phone, there was a cold and eerie silence.

After a long while, Harry Hunter spoke again coldly: "Now, you want me to relive history, marry Cherry Lewis, and step over her and Ryder Lewis’ bones for the Hunter Family to advance further, right? Doesn’t Ryder Lewis have the same purpose? Otherwise, why would he give away a ten-billion-dollar castle for no reason?"
