Accidental Marriage With Mr Billioniare -
Chapter 90: HIS JEALOUSY
Chapter 90: HIS JEALOUSY
"What the fuck are you talking about man?" Miles asked his hands on his chin as Stephan stood there in shock.
"That you fucking kissed my woman, are you nut?" He growled, his voice echoing through the one silent room.
Phones were pulled up, already capturing the rift moment between the best friends.
One could see how furious and fucking drunk Julian is, for a weird reason they already begin to insult him because he betrayed his friend.
Stephan on the other hand is standing there feeling the guilt that our best friend has been accused of something he is behind.
"Jul..." Stephan was about to get closer to Julian so he could soothe him but he stopped him immediately.
"Move another inch closer and..." Julian pick up the glass bottle.
"I don’t fucking know any shit you’re talking about,"
"Tell me about the picture Stephan hardly comes to my office. You are the one who has been coming to it!"
"Man, chill out, and let’s talk carefully!" Miles announced.
"You like my wife, you made it so fucking clear," he let out still infuriated.
"Then asked her if I best kissed her, I can’t betray our friendship even though I liked her.
Julian’s eyes narrowed, his voice laced with sarcasm. "Do you take me for a fool? Who else would she do that with? So, if not you..." He trailed off, his implication clear.
Mike’s face fell, hurt etched on his features. "Are you telling me you don’t trust your wife, despite your loveless marriage? I made it clear I will only be with her after your divorce."
Julian’s fist clenched, his jaw twitching. "Move an inch closer to her again, and I will show you the power of the Logan" His threat hung in the air, heavy with menace.
Mike’s heart shattered, his friendship with Julian now tainted. "Julian, let’s sort things out. We can—" But Julian interrupted Stephan downing the remaining wine.
"It’s a fucking last wanting man, Astrid is my woman and wife I won’t share her with anyone," with that he stormed out of the clubhouse as the girls cooed after him blushing real hard.
Stephan glanced at all of the people, but the skids had their cameras trained on them.
"Put your phone down!" he yelled and immediately everyone did as told not attempting to say no to One of the princes.
"If this leaks outside this place, I will make sure to tear down the person who posted it and make their life miserable." His gaze swept the room, icy and unyielding.
The onlookers exchanged nervous glances, sensing the gravity of Julian’s warning.
They understood the unspoken threat, feeling the weight of his anger. They had no choice but to continue enjoying themselves, pretending nothing had transpired between the three wealthiest, most influential friends in the city.
Mike seethed, his feet stomping on the ground. "What the heck is wrong with him? Why would I kiss her? What video is he talking about?" His hands raked through his hair, frustration boiling over.
As he stood there, lost in thought, a realization dawned. His eyes widened, and his face contorted in anguish.
Mike glanced at Stefan, his eyes narrowing. "Why do I think you know exactly what’s happening?"
Stefan feigned innocence, though guilt flickered in his eyes. "Why would I know anything about it?"
"She’s just a fat pig. What would I have to do with her?" Stephan’s tone turned acidic as he added.
Miles pulled his collar roughly glaring hard at him as his hands began to tighten around his neck.
Stephan shifted uncomfortably, his smile faltering. Everyone’s attention was back to the party so they didn’t notice this, and also because it’s hard to see things in the VIP section unless all attention decided to be directed to it.
Miles’ gaze pierced Stephan, "Never call her that again?" he wanted and Stephan raised his hands in surrender.
Miles exhaled sharply and finally let go of Stephan, "You might want to do it to prove your love to my sister." he explained.
Stephan’s eyes darted to Mike, his face speechless.
"You do know how much Julian trusts me, and now his reaction to finding out I had betrayed him."
Miles implored, his voice laced with desperation. "Are you truly the one saying all these shits?" Stephan asked and a sly smile spread across Miles’ face.
Stefan’s eyes widened, alarm creeping in. "You have changed, well I don’t know what you’re talking about."
With a deep breath, Stephan retreated to his seat. "I am not interested in your schemes, but if you dare tarnish my image in Julian’s presence, now we’re no longer friends," he announced and Miles’s smirk grew.
"Well, I know about your secrets, including almost killing her in the hospital bed." Stefan’s face paled as he recalled their encounter.
Mike’s voice dropped, menacing. "I am not stupid, I know you have been fooling around with Julian’s girl, even on their wedding day, causing her to be late." Stefan’s eyes flashed, defiance rising.
"I know you kissed her." he ended up dropping the bomb. Stephan shrugged, nonchalance feigned. "So? He doesn’t love her. What’s the problem?"
Miles’s anger boiled over. "You forced yourself on her; that’s an assault, not only will it tarnish your reputation but you will be in jail if I choose to fight it."
Stephaan’s composure crumbled, fear creeping in. Stephan put his hands into his pocket as he looked up at Miles.
Now he understood what Julian meant when he had said and believed Miles was the one behind the kiss.
"This is the first time I have ever seen you being interested in a girl. Is it true that you’re in love with her?"
"Yes, I have feelings for her and I made that clear to Julian so you know what is for if it is at all going to have any feelings for her,"
"So?"
"I am trying to make it clear that I will do everything to protect our friendship. But, if you don’t do the right thing I would destroy you in a day without thinking twice I am so fucking serious about that.
Stephan poked his chin with his tongue as he looked sideways like he was trying to mask his hurt feelings.
"I have done everything to make me as rich as you both, how come when it comes to class you always make it feel like I am the lowest of all."
"The lowest of all, because of the class or family you came from do you have the lowest of all because you have always asked so low in everything related to your life,"
"I am going to give you the last chance to right every fucking wrong you have done, or I will release the video out for every fucking thing to the world telling crazy things you have done to your best friend’s wife."
Miles strolled toward Stephan gently having a sneaky smirk on his face.
"You don’t want to know what Julian is going to do to you. If you ever find out that you have been cheating on his former girl and now you’re trying to hit on the new girl would you?"
Stephan eyes locked with that of Miles and he only smiled back at him helping him do his collar well.
"Enjoy your night," Miles announced, exiting the clubhouse.
Suddenly, about three cars pulled up, he wasn’t interested in it and found his way to his car until a familiar figure emerged.
Miles’ eyes widened in shock as he stared at Maren. "Maren!" he called out, his gaze bulging.
But his anger increased seeing Maddox, the son of the president, step out, and wrap his arm around Man’s shoulder.
"Hey Miles, nice to see you again tonight," Maren greeted warmly.
"Hey Miles, it’s been a while. I didn’t expect to see you tonight, especially after seeing Julian’s this morning." Maddox added,
Miles remained silent, his gaze fixed on Maddox’s arm around Maren as his fist clenched in anger.
"Who is he?" Miles asked, ignoring Maddox’s greeting.
Maren’s smile faltered. "Everyone knows him, he’s the president’s son," she replied flatly.
"I am not foolish, I know who he is. What I want to know is what stupid relationship you have with him, allowing him to wrap his arms around your shoulder?"
Maren’s face fell, her eyes flashing hurt, as she tried to gesture for Maddox to let go of her shoulder.
Maddox’s presence seemed to ignite a fire within Miles. His envy simmered, threatening to boil over.
"That is none of your business," she answered, rolling her eyes at his question.
"I have always heard you climb the bed of rich men to reach your position. Tonight, you prove me right." Miles proclaimed with bitterness in his heart.
His words cut deep and Maren felt insulted, her cheeks burning. Miles’ harsh words, uttered without hesitation, stung.
"You finally get to know tonight," Maren said, her voice laced with hurt.
"Have a good night then, Miles." She walked past him, a small smile masking her pain pulling Maddox with her.
As Maren disappeared into the night, mixed emotions settled in anger and guilt lingered in his heart.
He shouldn’t have blown up that way, but Maddox’s closeness to her had ignited a burning jealousy within him.
