Accidental Marriage With Mr Billioniare -
Chapter 51: PUNISHING HER AGAIN
Chapter 51: PUNISHING HER AGAIN
Astrid stepped out of the cab and paid the driver, watching as the vehicle drove away.
The mansion’s gate loomed before her, locked already.
Taking a deep breath, she approached the entrance, expecting to have to wait. But to her surprise, the gate slid open, granting her access instantly.
Relief washed over Astrid, but it was short-lived. As she entered, she spotted Julian leaning against the door, his face twisted in anger.
"Good evening," Astrid greeted him softly, trying to reduce the tension.
"Where were you coming from?" Julian demanded, his voice laced with frustration and annoyance.
Astrid replied flatly, "I went out."
Julian’s expression darkened at her response
"Are you joking with me?" he spat, his eyes blazing.
Astrid met his gaze, her anger still simmering from the loving affair he still shared with Mattie in the office.
"Why would I joke with you since we’re not really husband and wife." Her tone dripped with irritation.
Julian’s hands clenched into fists. "You...’" He trailed off, speechless.
Astrid turned to leave, but stopped again.
"Please, keep having fun with your girl. I promise I won’t distract you, so let me be free."
Julian’s face turned beet red with rage. He grasped Astrid’s arm, pulling her back roughly.
"How dare you?" he snarled, his eyes flashing. "’I told you, you’re mine!’".
Astrid wrenched her arm free, her heart pounding. "And who’s Mattie to you, huh?" she shot back, her voice trembling.
Julian’s grip on her arm tightened. "That’s none of your business," he growled.
Astrid glared at him. "It is my business when you parade her in front of me!"
Astrid tried again, snatching her hands off, but his grip was too tight.
"Hey... that’s hurt.." she cried out but he was too angry to let go of her hands.
"I told you never to get me mad," his grip tightening, Rowan word still hasn’t left his head and now Astrid’s words had triggered him.
"Not even Rowan should be close to you," Julian warned, his grip tightening around Astrid’s arm. She winced, feeling the pain.
"That is none of your..." but her words trailed off as he kissed her roughly, his lips crushing hers.
Astrid felt a surge of anger and humiliation. Why was she allowing him to do this? He was using her, and it wasn’t right.
"Let me go!" Astrid cried out, trying to push him away, but Julian’s strength overpowered hers.
Desperate, Astrid bit his lip, making him recoil. Julian released her, his eyes flashing with anger.
"Hey!" Julian growled, touching his lip.
"I get it..." Astrid spat, her voice trembling.
"I made a mistake and ruined your life, I agree with whatever terms come with it, but don’t you dare kiss me without my permission again!".
Astrid’s heart pounded as she stood her ground, defying Julian’s dominance.
Julian’s expression darkened. "’You think you can bite me and get away with it?’" he sneered.
"I will do whatever it takes to protect myself," Astrid retorted, her voice firm.
Julian’s eyes narrowed. "’You’re pushing your luck, Astrid.’"
"Let me be!" Astrid yelled at Julian, struggling to break free from his grasp. She was stunned at the way his grip remained tight around her wrists.
"You will only follow the chauffeur, do what I want, and as from tomorrow, follow me every meeting I go," Julian commanded, his eyes cold and calculating.
Astrid seethed with anger, but Julian released her, a sly smile spreading across his face.
"Remember, you promised to pay me back... You don’t want me ruining your family tonight, do you?’"
Astrid massaged her sore wrist, glaring at him. "Bastard!" she grumbled under her breath and strutted into the mansion.
As she entered the living room, Mattie’s cheerful greeting infuriated her. "Hey, girl!"
Astrid’s anger boiled over, and she sighed, heading to the kitchen to grab a glass of water.
"Ma’am..." One of the maids quickly handed her a cup.
"Wow... It’s the first time this has ever happened," se thought as her eyes wide with concern.
Astrid collected it and downed the water in one gulp then returned the cup to the maid. As she turned to leave, she collided with Mattie.
"Since you’re going to be stubborn and not stay away from him, I’ll teach you a lesson myself," Mattie sneered, her eyes flashing with malice.
Astrid was confused at first until she felt her throat constructed in pain, "Wh... what have you done?" Mattie winked her eyes and walked off.
Astrid breathing was becoming hard, "Ma.." she pointed at the lady, but it was hard.
She forced herself to run upstairs. Finally got to her room, pushing it open and dashing into the brtboom.
She peeled off her shirt so she could help herself cool off but it was another decision she has regretted.
She jumped into the bathtub and jumped out... screaming in pain.
In the process her glass fell off, she tried looking for the glass and then she heard Julian knocking on her room door.
"Hey... what is wrong?" he called from the outside, she was about to respond when she felt a presence before her.
"A word and your punishment will be more than this," That voice was Mattie’s only now did she understand what she had told her in the kitchen.
Her body was itching her real bad and her lungs constricted a bit hard for her to breathe.
"Hey... you want me to pull down the door?" Julian asked again and then Astrid’s painful voice followed.
"Nothing... I am fine you should leave," she let out, "Are you sure.."
"I said leave!" she yelled in pain, then Mattie cracked at this.
"Good girl.." she squatted before tilting her head.
"Can’t see without the glasses." Mattie stated and Astrid sniffed.
"Hand me the glass.." Astrid cried out but Mattie cracked at this, snatching it back.
Mattie stood back on her feet and gestured to the girls standing behind her.
"Hold her down." she announced and only then did Astrid notice there were others with her.
"Please.." she pleaded in pain but stopped talking when something was shoved in her mouth as her high hands were grabbed by the two minds.
"I enjoy this," Mattie laughed out as she picked up her phone, "Let me go.."
"Dip her hands into the bathtub," Mattie ordered, the girls without any hesitation did what was told.
Astrid yelped out in pain, but her scream was muffled because of the way they had shoved something into her mouth.
The pain she was going through couldn’t be measured. After some seconds it was pulled out, they related the action thrice until Mattie stopped them.
"This is a punishment.." Mattie let her go and then handed her glasses to her.
Astrid with her burnt hands was quick to put it on, and only then she knew Mattie had been recording her.
She was just in her bra and trousers, she cried out trying to find a dress to grab.
Having no choice she wore the already wet dress, Mattie walked out of the bathroom and Astrid was too scared to walk out.
"If you don’t come out now, the next thing that will be burnt will be your face and your glasses will be destroyed." Without another word, Astrid ran out of the bathroom.
Astrid’s body still reeled from the itching phase. Mattie approached her, holding out a medication.
"Good girl..." Mattie said, her face coined in sarcasm.
"This will help you relieve the pain," Mattie offered, her expression fake concerned and also having another smirk.
Astrid quickly took the medication, but Mattie’s next words made her freeze. "’Who knows? It might be another thing you’re allergic to...’"
Out of shock, the drug slipped from Astrid’s hand. In the chaos, Astrid accidentally hit Mattie’s hand, causing scalding water she was about to give to Astrid to spill onto Mattie’s wrist.
Mattie shrieked in agony, attracting Julian’s attention once more. "’Open the freaking door now!’" Julian bellowed.
Mattie gestured for the maids to open the door, and Astrid stood there, annoyed, knowing she would be blamed again.
"What the heck..." Julian trailed off, taking in the scene.
"Babe, see what Astrid did to me because I wanted to give her medication," Mattie lied, as she ran to him pointing to him.
Julian’s gaze shifted to Astrid, who looked disheveled and wet. Concern flickered across his face.
But when Julian checked Mattie’s wrist, he was shocked to see they were bruised and painful. "What the hell happened?"
"She did this because I wanted to help," Mattie accused, her voice trembling. "She poured the water on my wrist.’"
Julian’s eyes narrowed, questions swirling in his mind. However, seeing Mattie’s injured hands, he needs to go take care of her.
"Let’s go treat you," he announced and this irritated Mattie.
"You aren’t going to leave her just like that, are you?" Mattie asked, her tone rising in anger.
"I’ll take care of her next," Julian reassured, "but for now, you need to get yourself treated."
Julian shot Astrid a warning glance before escorting Mattie out.
The maids stared at Astrid, who stood numb and silent.
"Mess with her more, and she will do even crazier things to you," one of the maids whispered.
"We are so sorry for hurting you," the other maid apologized, as Astrid merely nodded.
"You can leave," Astrid announced and the ladies bowed and ran out of the room leaving Astrid to finally breathe out.
Astrid strode toward the door, pain and hurt etched on her face. She felt devastated seeing Julian’s concern for Mattie while ignoring her own well-being.
Not once did he ask for her side of the story or check if she was okay. His priority was Mattie, and it cut deep.
Astrid slid down the door, her body surrendering to the emotional disruption. Tears streamed down her face as she wept, her heart heavy with sorrow.
As the tears slowly dried, exhaustion took over, and Astrid drifted off to sleep, her back against the door.
