Accidental Marriage With Mr Billioniare -
Chapter 37: GETTING MAD AT THEM
Chapter 37: GETTING MAD AT THEM
Julian had watched her walk inside from his car but for a weird reason, he wasn’t feeling right so he decided to go inside his mansion.
Only to be met with Astrid strangling her, "What the fuck is wrong with you?" Julian exclaimed as he pulled Astrid off Mattie.
Astrid for once didn’t feel guilty but mad, why did she only arrive when she was the one hurting Mattie?
Mattie grabbed Julian’s hands and feigned her fake tears, "Babe... my neck hurts so much?" Julian checked her bruise and now shot daggers at Astrid.
"The hell! I didn’t bring you here to hurt my girl!" His voice didn’t startle Astrid one bit, she was getting used to his temper.
"Then tell your girl to get off my back!" Astrid clapped back and Julian was so taken aback, that he had to stare at her for a while speechless.
He never gets shouted at by outsiders. They have no say in his life so how come he is letting her off?
"Don’t you think you are coming too bold?"
"I don’t care, I am sick and tired of getting all of the faults when she’s the one who started it!" Astrid exclaimed, pointing hands at Mattie.
"Excuse me, my neck is red," she clamored, pointing it to Julian.
"Babe, see my wrist. I am a model, but my body is bruised because of your so-called wife," she added while Asimtrid shot her irritating gaze.
"I will take you to the doctor so they can treat your skin, you don’t have to be worried about it." Julian convinced her.
Astrid scoffed and picked up her luggage going to her room.
She hates the fact that Mattie keeps getting her way, always hurting her and getting her way.
She can’t wait for this year to be over so she can go back to her normal life.
Julian called his doctor’s friend and then made a reservation for Mattie.
"Babe, is that the only thing you’re going to say about the whole situation?" Julian tilted his head to her, having a curious gaze on them.
"She hurts your fiancé, I should be your wife if she never ruined it, still you are letting it go!"
"I wasn’t expecting you to be in the mansion, your mom, isn’t she supposed to be in the hospital?" Mattie took in a deep breath now glaring hard.
"I can see how much you hate me. You don’t care anymore," She cried out.
"You know how much I hate lies. Still, you went ahead to trick me." This time Julian’s voice was stern, as he pushed her backward a bit.
Mattie sauntered towards Julian, her movements fluid and seductive. She reached out to caress his cheek, her touch gentle.
But Julian’s reaction was swift and decisive. He slapped her hand away, his eyes flashing with warning.
"Don’t," he growled, his voice low and menacing.
Mattie’s smile faltered for a moment before she regained her composure.
"I made a reservation for you," Julian continued, his tone icy. "You can go now and take care of your skin."
Mattie’s eyes narrowed, her gaze flashing with anger. But she masked it quickly, replacing it with a sly smile.
Julian’s expression remained unyielding. Mattie’s smile never wavered.
"I will go, but only because I want to, not because you’re telling me to." She was about to leave but stopped again.
"Aren’t you going with me?" Julian shook his head and she rolled her eyes.
Here’s the reconstructed scene:
Julian was about to respond to Mattie when Astrid caught his attention, strutting towards the exit.
"Where are you going?" Julian called out, his brow furrowed in concern.
Astrid walked past him without a glance, her long strides eating up the distance.
"I am talking to you," Julian repeated, trailing behind her.
Mattie grasped his arm, holding him back. Julian shook her off, his glare warning her to let go.
Julian quickened his pace, following Astrid to the driveway. The chauffeur, awaiting her arrival, began to greet her.
"Welcome, ma’am..."
Astrid brushed past him, opening the car door herself and sliding into the driver’s seat.
"What the fuck is wrong with you, Astrid?" Julian shouted, racing towards the car.
But Astrid ignored him, igniting the engine and speeding out of the driveway.
Julian stood stunned, watching his car disappear into the distance.
"Never has anyone dared do that," he muttered.
One of his guards approached. "Boss, should we follow her?"
Julian shook his head. "Let her go. She will be back."
A hint of amusement crept into his voice. "Besides, she’s been wanting some fresh air. Let her have it."He smiled wryly.
"I can track my car if I need to, but for now, let her enjoy her rebellion."The guard nodded, retreating
Julian’s gaze lingered on the empty driveway, his thoughts consumed by Astrid’s fiery departure.
"Seriously, that is the only one you can say?" Mattie asked while he just pulled his tie frustrated.
"You need to go to the doctor Mattie, I won’t listen to your troubles if it creates a mark." Mattie broke into a painful laughter at this.
"Are you telling me that you aren’t mad at someone who had just hurt your girl?"
"Jul.." her words were left hanging, as she let out a scream.
Hebhad lifted her from the ground, walking toward another car that was parked.
The guards quickly opened it, as he shoved her inside he snapped his finger and his chauffeur ran toward them.
"Take her to the doctor," he said and walked into the mansion crouching on the chair.
He was frustrated already with the whole day and just then Miles’s call came in.
"The meeting for this morning has been settled but what about the one for the next two hours?"
He sighed massaging his forehead, "What does it mean when you are worried about someone because she is mad at you?" he asked, ignoring Miles’s question.
"Don’t tell me you are worried about your accidental wife?" he sighed frustratedly.
"Miles... I am fucking frustrated they are both driving me crazy." Miles broke into a peal of laughter listening to his friend.
"Does this mean that your heart is beginning to waver," Mieles teased.
"Shut, the fuck up and get off my phone!"
"Dude, I called you for another..." His words were left hanging as he hung up his phone
On the other hand, Astrid was beginning to regret taking Julian’s car.
How could she do things out of thinking? No matter what he could never like or want her. She shouldn’t have crossed her limit.
Driving for almost an hour around the city she finally pulled up in front of her father’s mansion before she could rethink her decision.
Her mum has always flashed through her mind, she couldn’t help but always think about her while she was in Paris
She just needed to know and see her, she missed her so much.
Astrid took in a deep breath and walked out of her car, "Welcome ma’am." their security welcomed her warmly.
He is the only human who has ever treated her nicely since has been living here.
"Mr. Maverick it’s nice to see you again," she let out and he smiled back at her.
"Are they around?" she asked, her eyes scanning through the cars parked outside.
"Yes, ma’am," he answered and she strutted into her mansion as the feeling of nostalgia hit her.
But the eyes she had met sitting on their couch in the living room made her rethink her decision.
She gasped as she stared right into his eyes, "Mr. Damon?" her voice squealed out.
