Julian disengaged from the kiss, and reality hit him like a ton of bricks.

He realized the crazy action he had just taken, Jealousy had gotten the better version of him, and he had kissed Astrid out of possessiveness.

Astrid’s eyes sparkled with a mix of surprise and embarrassment as she lowered her head, her cheeks flushed with color.

Julian’s voice was low and husky as he warned, "Make this be the last time I see you with Rowan."

The undertone of jealousy was unmistakable, and Astrid’s heart skipped a beat.

Still reeling from the intensity of the kiss, Astrid stood there, her fingers tracing the contours of her lips.

It was the second time their lips had met, but this time, Julian’s passion had been fueled.

He didn’t seem to feel guilty about his actions, and Astrid couldn’t help but feel a thrill at the thought of being the object of his desire.

She watched him walk inside the mansion walking past Mattie.

A soft smile played on Astrid’s lips but the smile disappeared when she met Mattie’s gaze.

Astrid’s heart sank, knowing that Mattie had witnessed the entire scene.

"You enjoyed it, didn’t you?" Astrid gulped down nervously.

"I.." she stopped midway, recalling it wasn’t her fault she couldn’t keep saying sorry all the time.

"He kissed me... it shouldn’t be my fault." she retorted and a slap landed on her cheek.

"How dare you talk back to me." Astrid hands touching her cheek she refused to say anything.

"I am only here to tell you I would make your life miserable, tonight is just an iceberg be ready for more." with that she stormed off to her room.

"Julian.." She called but was met with shock to see him dazed as he stared at his mirror, a little smile tugging on his lip.

They have been in a relationship for years and she had never seen him use this expression.

"What is the meaning of the expression on your face?" she asked.

He glanced back at her and the smile disappeared.

"Nothing.." he answers coldly, he is never caught unaware and ready to respond. He might have told her loved her several times. He is never too warm with her.

"I saw you kiss her," Julian stopped on his track at this and glanced back at her.

"Sorry, about that I was just infuriated," he replied, still making her angry.

"So you go around kissing people when you are mad, isn’t that?"

"I didn’t lie... I already accepted my mistake. Please, it has been a long day today. I don’t have the strength to go through all this." he cut her off and went into the bathroom.

It’s breakfast and Julian could be seen with his laptop in the living room typing out some things.

He had planned not to go near anything office-related but the sudden scandal needed a war-up.

The pictures had been taken out off the internet and he is trying to make things back to normal.

Mattie walked down with Stephan, "Good morning," Sophie greeted the both of them, her mind tracing back to the previous night.

Everyone could see Mattie wasn’t looking good, her friends had been asking how the issue was going.

Now she doesn’t even know what’s wrong with Julian. All of a sudden he began caring for Astrid who he had just met for a few days and was already acting rude toward her.

"You don’t look too good Mattie," Sophie stated, and only then did Julian look up.

"Hey.." he called but she rolled her eyes walking away.

"When have you been up dude?" Stephan asked as he threw an Apple at her.

"Three hours now, trust me I have done all my best to maintain a clean reputation but..." he sighed again at the thought of Astrid.

"Why isn’t she around yet?" he asked and then Julian’s phone rang, he sighed before answering.

"Hey, mum?"

"How is it? You have settled it right?" Julian is stunned at his mum’s question.

How come she liked Astrid just immediately despite her wrongs but refused to give Mattie her choice?

"Mum..."

"I don’t believe she can do some crazy shit like that. Rowan is a douchebag and always ready to attack you."

"So?"

"Boy, it means he used your wife or maybe forced himself on her."

Julian froze at this, now recalling Astrid action when she had first seen Rowan.

He also recalled the way she had told him to let them leave the party when she came out.

"Fuck..." he groaned and Becky smiled at this, as she sat watching the full clip which was sent by the building owners.

"You didn’t put Astrid in the position to be able to speak her mind when she is in trouble."

"Mum, I"

"Why is Stephan and Mattie with you during your honeymoon?" Becky asked, interrupting him.

"You should know why mum," he answered, a bit irritated at this.

"You still want the company right?" Julian’s eyes widened at this.

"Don’t test my patience, Julian, if you can’t accept change, how are you going to run it?"

"Mum... I have been running it for ages. How come you feel like you..."

"I want to talk to her," she said, cutting him off again.

Stephan and Mattie could only watch from dining, having him have different emotions.

"She isn’t with me mum," he answered, "Then go give her the phone, what crazy things have you made that girl go through?" He scoffed at his mum’s words.

"Fine." he left for Astrid’s room, leaving Mattie to stare at this in frustration.

"Stephan..." she whispered, her hands shaking at the thought of losing him.

"What?"

"Hurt her... I don’t know what you are going to do but please..." Stephan stared at her seeing how worried she was.

If only she would be worried about him and just forget about Julian.

"What do you want me to do?" he asked without hesitation, he gate saw her cry.

She glanced back at him, "Have the boys teach her a lesson."

"Meaning?"

"This time it shouldn’t be just a threat as it has happened with Rowan," she glanced at him, this time her eyes now red and puffy.

"Make them have fun with her, and make a live record."
