Stephan got to the mansion a bit disappointed, his whole body was hurting as he fell to the ground.

"Who the hell did this to you?" Mattie yelled, rushing toward him looking worried.

"Where is she?" came in Julian’s first word, not minding his friend’s state.

"She went home with Rowan," Stephan responded, already before he could figure out how his sentence had been structured.

"What the fuck!" Julian growled and Mattie scoffed.

"See I told you she doesn’t..." Julian pushed Mattie away before she could complete her sentence.

"It’s drizzling out there in the cold and you left her in the middle of the road... I don’t expect her not to go with him."

Julian sighed now understanding the grasp of the situation his anger had caused.

"Why are you beaten.."

"Rowan men are behind it, you want more questions or help me up." Stephan countered back.

Just at the same time Julian’s phone beeps. His hands trembled as the grip on his phone tightened.

He stood up going for his keys but Mattie snatched them off.

"She caused you a great loss, she ruined your marriage and you still want to go save her."

"I brought her here, I should take her back to the state where she knows every direction," Julian responded.

Hearing she had left with another man made him so infuriated, "Hold on Julian... how the heck are you even going?"

"To get her."

"You don’t know Rowan’s apartment," Stephan added.

"I will sort that out," he replied and Stephan stared at his friend as he watched him leave.

Mattie slapped Stephan and this earned a painful groan from him.

"What the heck was that? You should have made more words up,"

"It’s better he takes her back to the state than allow something to happen to her here." Stephan defended.

"Are you scared? She is just a gold digger.." Mattie was more than furious at this.

"Calm down baby girl..." his hands snaked through her waist, "I should be the one mad at you for spending time with him."

Mattie scoffed and yanked his hands off, "Just a job, and you couldn’t get it well done." With this Mattie left the living room.

Sophie, who had been in the dark watching them, sneered at this.

"This is your time of letting those couples be," she sent the picture to Ma’am Becky with a smirk on her face.

Julian drove into Rowan’s villa infuriated at the whole situation.

He shouldn’t care about her a bit, but here he is going to pick her up from Rowan.

He alighted his car only to see Rowan standing out there with his arms folded.

He stormed toward him, ready to attack him, "Where is she?"

"Relax... you shouldn’t be worried about her, because she isn’t even the one you love." Rowan fired back.

"Rowan, don’t get me mad, where is she?"

Rowan broke into a loud laughter at this, "Everyone looked up to you and yet you left a girl in the middle of the road."

"That is not a business of yours..."

Rowan smirked, his hands in his pocket as she gracefully strolled inside the mansion Julian trailing behind him.

"It did a great destruction to my image also," Rowan proclaimed.

"Why tell me about it? You cause it yourself so I don’t care.." Rowan snickered at this, now turning back at him.

"She seems interesting... She makes me want to try out a new relationship." At the mention of this Julian grabbed his collar.

"Don’t you dare do anything crazy.." Julian warned, "

"It’s just a year... and I will have her... till then.."

"Julian?" He heard his name from the familiar voice, seeing how she paced down the stairs in a rush.

Her eyes met with Rowan and she gasped and froze, her eyes starting between the two lads.

"Finally recognize me?" She gulped down nervously, the only thought in her head was what Julian would be thinking.

"I... I..." speechless she could only strut close to Julian who seemed infuriated by the whole situation.

"I have no time to exchange more words with you," Julian told him and pulled Astrid’s hands roughly out of the mansion as Rowan smiled watching this.

His mind traced to how captivated he was for once by that of a woman.

"I will make her mine... just a year, I need to be calm for just a year." he let out and then his assistant walked toward him.

"Boss, he is Julian, you don’t want to mess with him." Rowan smirked, "Relax, the one he loves is Mattie." his fist released as a necklace laid right there in his palm.

"I can still get closer to her, with this." He smirked recalling how her hands kept moving around the necklace as she called for Julian’s name and apologized.

Julian shoves Astrid into the car, without another person also getting inside and driving out of Rowan’s villa.

The whole ride was silent as he drove at full speed, "I.." she stopped midway recalling how he does repeat it times without numbers that he hated those words.

"I thought you were the one, my eyes..." She paused seeing his hand tightened against the wheel and his speed increased.

Maybe it wasn’t a good time to talk about it, she thought and shit her mouth.

He finally got to his mansion driving in and his car made a screeching sound. The force made Astrid jerk forward but he was quicked to place his hands protecting her head from hitting the glass.

This little action made her smile, "Please forgive me, it won’t repeat itself..." she whispered, and this action made his anger deplete instantly.

"And what profit would that bring me?"

"I am sorry about the loss my silliness had caused, I promise nothing transpired between us."

"You went home with him, Astrid." hearing her name from him first melted her heart.

He hardly calls her name, "I thought you were the one, my eyes.."

"Get those fuvking glasses on then!" his yelling made her startled.

"I..." she controlled herself, "Just get down!" he grumbled and Astrid let out a small smile.

She alighted the car, still tired but seeing he wasn’t mad at her like before made her relief.

Julian on the other hand couldn’t get the fact of what Rowan had said off his head.

He alighted the car storming toward the oblivious Astrid who was walking into the mansion.

Before she could process what was happening, he pushed her against the wall. "Ju.." as he locked his lips with hers making her eyes widen

He let go of her, his eyes staring deep into her soul... "You are mine and no one else." with this he locked his lips deepening it.

Mattie who had been anticipating their arrival could only stand there heartbroken watching him kiss her.
