Accidental Marriage With Mr Billioniare
Chapter 204: MISS SIMPSON

Chapter 204: MISS SIMPSON

Astrid stood in front of her closet, scanning the array of outfits hanging before her.

She was about to meet the President, after all, and she wanted to make a good impression.

Her eyes landed on a sleek, navy blue pantsuit, adorned with a subtle silver pin on the lapel. She smiled, knowing it was the perfect choice.

She slipped into the outfit, feeling the luxurious fabric hug her curves in all the right places.

The tailored jacket accentuated her slender waist, while the fitted trousers elongated her legs.

She paired the suit with a crisp, white blouse and a pair of low-heeled pumps that added a touch of sophistication to her overall look.

As she walked out of her bedroom, she was met with a round of applause from Julian and Maren, who were sitting in the living room waiting for her.

"Wow, you look stunning!" Maren exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement.

Julian nodded in agreement, his eyes fixed on Astrid’s outfit. "You’re going to knock the President’s socks off," she added, a smile spreading across her face.

"Hey... he is old enough to be her father," Julian cut her off and she just rolled her eyes.

Astrid blushed, feeling a surge of gratitude towards Maren, who had helped her pick out the perfect dress the previous day.

"Thanks, guys," she said, smiling. "Maren, this dress is perfect. You have great taste."

Maren beamed with pride. "I am glad you like it, Astrid. You deserve to look amazing for your meeting with the President."

Julian stood up, his eyes locked on Astrid’s. "Do you want me to come with you?" he asked, his voice low and serious.

Astrid rolled her eyes, a sassy smile spreading across her face. "No, Julian, I think you will be better off staying here. You are being a bit of a freeloader in my house, after all." her smile disappeared at the end of the moment.

Julian chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Hey, I am just trying to provide moral support," he said, his voice dripping with amusement.

Astrid shook her head. "Well, you can provide moral support for your office."

With that, she walked out of the living room, with Maren giggling beside her.

"Hey when you get there you might meet with a certain bitch called Maddy, she has a crush on Julian... and might you know act like Mattie" Maren whispered and this made Astrid stunned.

"Wow.." Maren nodded her head, "She is the president’s daughter and might want to use that opportunity to act silly, just ignore her." Just then Julian appeared beside her leaning closer.

"What are you mumbling about?" This got them startled, "Hey!" Astrid called out hitting him.

"Don’t do that again," she let out as she walked out to meet Samuel who had been waiting down the stairs.

Just then Julian appeared beside her, his eyes fixed on Samuel’s face.

"Take care of her," he said, his voice low and serious, his eyes flashing a warning gaze at Samuel.

Samuel nodded, his face expressionless. "I will."

Julian turned to Astrid, his eyes locked on hers. "I will be waiting to hear from you soon, any discomfort make a call."

Astrid rolled her eyes, laughing. "You’re being annoying, Julian."

But Julian just smiled, "Drive safe." he mumbled and with that, she slid into the seat of the car, but Julain pulled her back out, taking her to the back seat.

Then he walked over to the driver’s side and said, "You drive, I want her to sit at the back."

Samuel raised an eyebrow but didn’t argue. Astrid grumbled, "Julian, you’re being annoying."

But Julian just smiled and said, "I don’t care, I just want to make sure you’re safe."

As they drove off, Astrid could see Julian standing in the doorway, watching her car disappear into the distance. She didn’t know when a scoff escaped her lips until her eyes met with Samuel in the rearview mirror.

The drive to the President’s villa was a short one, and before long, they were pulling up to the imposing gates.

Astrid’s eyes widened as she took in the sheer scale of the White House. The building seemed to glow in the morning light, its columns and façade radiating an aura of power and prestige.

As they stepped out of the car, Astrid was immediately struck by the heavy security presence.

Guards in crisp, black uniforms stood at attention, their eyes scanning the surrounding area with a mixture of alertness and suspicion.

Samuel nodded at the guards, who returned the gesture with a curt nod. "Mrs. Logan and Mr. Rick, here to see the President," he announced, his voice confident.

One of the guards stepped forward, his hand extended. "Identification, please."

Astrid handed over her ID, which the guard scrutinized before handing it back. "Very well, Mrs. Logan. Please, follow me."

With that, the guard led them through the gates and into the White House. Astrid felt a thrill of excitement as she stepped into the grand foyer, her eyes taking in the opulent chandeliers and intricately patterned carpets.

The guard escorted them to a small waiting room, where they were greeted by a smiling aide. "Mrs. Logan, Mr. Rick, the President will see you now. Please, follow me."

As they followed the aide through the winding corridors of the White House, Astrid couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe at the sheer history and power that seemed to seep from every stone.

She had never been one for politics, or ever thought of coming to the white house one day.

But there was something about being in the presence of the President that made her feel like she was a part of something much bigger than herself.

The aide stopped in front of a large, wooden door and knocked twice. A voice from the other side called out,

"Enter!"

The aide pushed open the door and gestured for Astrid and Samuel to enter.

Astrid took a deep breath and stepped inside, her eyes scanning the room for the President.

He was standing behind his desk, a warm smile on his face. "Ah, Mrs Logan. Astrid and Mr. Rick, it’s a pleasure to meet you both. Please, come in."

Astrid smiled back at the guy staring back at them, she knows she hardly watches the news but not to the extent of not recognizing the president.

"Sir... we are here to see the president and not you." Astrid let out and this made Maddox have a small smile on his face.

"Wow.." he mumbled as he moved closer to her, "I heard Julian’s wife was chubby and ugly looking lady how come this Mrs. Logan looks stunning?" he let out raising his hands to touch her but Samuel quickly moved closer to Maddox grabbing his hands.

"Sir... she is married and her husband specifically told me to watch her," Maddox’s smile ceased on his face as he glanced at Samuel.

"And who are you?" he asked, looking serious, Samuel swallowed hard at this, he wanted the type to get in between the riches but he just couldn’t watch Maddox mess with Astrid.

"He is also a guest requested by the President, having a problem with that?" Astrid asked leaving him speechless.

"What a disrespectful brat," they heard another voice, they both then went in the direction to see a lady the same age as them walking toward them and Astrid knew she was none other than the president’s daughter.

"I have always looked forward to meeting you and your first impression is making me hate you already." Astrid’s brow raised and she could only return a small smile.

"Welcome, Miss Simpson."
