Chapter 194: I WILL MAKE YOU MINE

"Who are you talking to?" Astrid turned back to see Julian standing behind her having a shocking expression on his face.

"When did you come in?" she asked, dropping her phone from her ear, trying to hide it in the process.

"A few seconds ago, that isn’t the response to my question " he replied, staring at her.

"Mind your business and leave.." She cut him off, but Julian wasn’t in for games. His eyes moved to the phone and he could tell it was a burner phone and he moved closer to her.

"Why are you using this?" he asked as he grabbed her hand, she rolled her eyes trying to make him release her grip but he didn’t let go.

"What is your problem? Let my hands go!" she grumbled, but Julian grabbed the phone from her.

Astrid’s eyes shimmered with anger as she yelled after Julian, "Hey, give it back to me!" But he just ran towards the door, her phone clutched in his hand.

She took off after him, her feet pounding the floor in pursuit. But as she drew nearer, her leg slipped on a patch of smooth floor, and she felt herself flying through the air.

Time seemed to slow down as she yelled, her arms flailing wildly in an attempt to regain her balance. Julian turned back, his eyes wide with alarm, but he was too slow to catch her.

Astrid’s body crashed into his, sending them both tumbling to the ground. The impact was hard, and Astrid felt the wind knocked out of her. She lay there, dazed, as Julian’s body covered hers.

For a few moments, they just lay there, their chests heaving with exertion.

Astrid’s eyes locked onto Julian’s, and she felt a jolt run through her body. Julian’s eyes seemed to bore into hers as if he could see right through to her soul.

The air was thick with tension as they lay there, their bodies tangled together.

Astrid felt her heart pounding in her chest, and she knew that she had to get out of this situation before things got out of hand.

With an effort, Astrid pushed Julian off her and scrambled to her feet. She snatched her phone from his grip and retreated to the safety of her bed, her heart still racing with excitement.

"Julian... I am doing fine now, so you can leave," she murmured, trying to sound calm despite the turmoil that was raging inside her. She could feel pain around her arm and side, but she ignored it, not wanting Julian to know that she was hurt.

Julian’s eyes narrowed, and he took a step closer to her. "Are you sure you’re okay?" he asked, his voice low and husky.

Astrid nodded, trying to keep her distance from him as she found her way to the bed. "Yes, I am fine. Just leave, Julian."

But Julian didn’t move. He just stood there, his eyes locked onto hers as if he could see right through to her soul. Astrid felt a shiver run down her spine as she realized that she was in grave danger of falling for him.

"Astrid... I made you get discharged. I can’t leave you here alone, Maren is busy and you don’t have any other person who you trust aside from your granddad, ...."

"I don’t trust you too now, get lost," she shut him up.

"I won’t, not until I know you are doing okay, I will be sorting out all my meetings from here, though your kitchen has been restored to position, you are not allowed into it anymore."

"Hey! I can cook! It’s just an honest mistake,"

"Says the one who almost burned the kitchen down along with herself." Astrid rolled her eyes at this as she recalled the moment, how she stood in front of the door.

And the moment it expanded she flew across the door landing perfectly on the ground but with a broken arm.

"You know what Julian... leave, I am tired," she mumbled but he didn’t listen.

"I am not leaving until you explain who you were talking to on the phone," he announced.

"I am not..."

"The footage of the hospital room," he let out and she rose from the bed immediately, rushing toward him.

"Did you get it?"

"My private investigator said it had been destroyed but luckily it was uploaded on the server, so he needed to hack it, you need to get a little more time to see this."

"How many days is this going to take?" she asked and he swallowed hard as he stared at her for some seconds.

"How about Mattie and..." he ticked his tongue shaking his head.

"You still haven’t told me about the reason you have a burner phone and the person you are talking with so..." he trailed off.

"You.."

"It’s Mattie isn’t it?" he asked. "Why do you want to fight for her? You want to accuse me of threatening the one who you love.." she moved closer poking him on his chest with anger flashing her eyes.

"You want to call..." but he pulled her roughly toward him, "I am not going to do anything, Astrid.." his voice was a bit firm and coarse.

"Astrid, I explained to you already the reason why I have always been nice to her and got her spoiled," he leaned further as his eye bored into that of Astrid.

Astrid’s eyes dropped, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment. "You don’t have to lie to cover up for her, I know..." she began, but her words were cut off as Julian’s lips crashed down on hers.

At first, Astrid’s body went stiff, her eyes widening in shock. She tried to push Julian away, but his grip around her was tight, his arms wrapping around her waist like a vice.

His lips moved against hers, demanding and insistent, and Astrid felt her resolve weakening.

Despite her initial resistance, Astrid’s body began to respond to Julian’s kiss. His lips were warm and firm, his tongue probing the seam of her mouth. Astrid’s hands, which had been pushing against Julian’s chest, slowly relaxed, her fingers curling into his shirt.

Julian took advantage of her distraction, deepening the kiss. His hands roamed over her body, his fingers tracing the curve of her waist, and the swell of her hips. Astrid felt herself melting into his touch, her body arching against his.

As they kissed, Julian’s hands slid down to Astrid’s thighs, his fingers digging into her skin. He lifted her, his arms wrapping around her legs, and Astrid felt herself being carried away. She didn’t even realize they were moving until she felt the softness of the bed beneath her.

Julian’s lips never left hers as he laid her down on the bed. His body covered hers, his weight pressing down on her. Astrid felt herself getting lost in the sensation of his touch, her body responding to his every move.

As they kissed, Julian’s hands roamed over Astrid’s body, his fingers tracing every curve and contour. Astrid felt herself getting more and more aroused, her body burning with desire.

She knew she should push Julian away, but she couldn’t. She was trapped in the sensation of his touch, her body craving more.

Julian’s lips finally left Astrid’s, his eyes locking onto hers. For a moment, they just stared at each other, the tension between them palpable. Then, Julian’s face lowered, his lips claiming Astrid’s once again.

This time, the kiss was harder, more insistent. Julian’s body pressed down on Astrid’s, his weight crushing her. Astrid felt herself getting lost in the sensation of his touch, her body responding to his every move.

As they kissed, Astrid felt herself getting lost in the sensation of Julian’s touch. She knew she should push him away, but she couldn’t. She was trapped in the sensation of his kiss, her body craving more.

Astrid’s lips were still tingling from the kiss when Julian suddenly pulled away. She looked up at him, her eyes searching for answers.

"Are you going to let me go now?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper but laced with annoyance.

Julian’s eyes locked onto hers, his gaze burning with intensity. "I will take things further when the whole issue is sorted out," he said, his voice low and husky. "I don’t want to take advantage of you, Astrid."

Astrid’s eyes narrowed, her expression skeptical. "You don’t have to lie to me, Julian," she said, her voice laced with bitterness. "You are only feeling pity for me, you are doing this to get my forgiveness."

Julian’s face contorted in a mixture of frustration and longing. "Astrid, I-" he began, but she cut him off.

"Don’t bother, Julian," she said, her voice cold. "I don’t need your pity."

But Julain stopped her, "I don’t know what’s going on, Astrid," he said, his voice firm. "I will support you in whatever plan you have."

Astrid scoffed, her eyes rolling in disdain. "You don’t even know what’s going on," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "How can you support me?"

Julian stood up, his movements fluid. Astrid was about to follow suit, but Julian’s hands shot out, pulling her closer to him.

"Let me go," Astrid said, her voice firm, but Julian didn’t listen.

He pulled her closer, his arms wrapping around her waist. Astrid’s hands pushed against his chest, but Julian’s grip only tightened.

"You’re not going anywhere, Astrid," Julian said, his voice low and husky. "I am not letting you go."

Astrid’s eyes flashed with anger, but Julian’s gaze only burned brighter. "I’ll do everything to make you mine, Astrid," he said, his voice filled with conviction. "And that’s a promise."
