Accidental Marriage With Mr Billioniare -
Chapter 141: THE BIRTHDAY PARTY
Chapter 141: THE BIRTHDAY PARTY
Astrid alighted from the airplane, breathing in the fresh air as she removed her spectacles.
She is no longer the girl who can’t see without glasses. The city’s familiar sounds and smells enveloped her, there is still no change. But she is so happy she is back as a new person.
The experiences of the past months had transformed her, and she could sense the difference within herself.
As she scanned the crowded airport, her eyes landed on a familiar figure, Mr. Jenkins.
He was standing by the exit, a warm smile on his face, and a hint of relief in his eyes. "Young Miss, this way," he said, beckoning her to follow him.
She smiled, feeling a sense of comfort and security as she trailed behind him.
They navigated through the throngs of people, and she couldn’t help but notice the admiring glances cast her way.
Today, she was dressed in a stunning outfit that accentuated her curves. A sleek black jumpsuit hugged her body, showcasing her toned physique.
The outfit was paired with a pair of statement silver earrings and a matching necklace that added a touch of sophistication to her overall look. Her hair was styled in loose waves, cascading down her back like a rich, dark waterfall.
As they walked, Mr. Jenkins led her to a luxurious black sedan waiting by the curb.
The chauffeur, dressed in a crisp black uniform, stepped out to greet her, opening the door with a respectful bow. "Welcome back, Young Miss," he said, his voice low and smooth.
She smiled, feeling like royalty as she slid into the plush leather seat. Mr. Jenkins followed, taking a seat beside her.
"Your grandfather has arranged for you to stay in a beautiful villa in the heart of the city," he said, his eyes twinkling with excitement.
She smiled at this, her grandfather was sure ready to spoil her to the core, as the car drove out of the airport she looked out the windows smiling happily.
Even though there is a void in her heart she still tries her best to make herself happy.
"Young Miss, the chairman just asked to bring it to his birthday party." Astrid brow raised at this.
"What? How come I don’t know anything about his birthday?" she asked, her voice laced with surprise.
Her assistant smiled wryly. "Young Miss, you don’t check online, you don’t use your phone, you are only obsessed with the blueprint your mother had left, and you just sketched with architectural knowledge."
Astrid’s face fell, her eyes clouding with regret. "Still, it’s bad that you didn’t tell me. What if I never planned on coming to the country today? Is that the way I am going to miss his birthday?"
Her assistant shook his head. "Your grandfather doesn’t mind if you do. Though he was so happy when you agreed to come back to the country."
Astrid’s eyes narrowed, her mind racing with thoughts. "I need to check a lot about my family, even though I am not used to them yet, they are my family."
Mr Jerkins nodded in agreement. "Yeah, good idea."
Astrid’s face lit up. "I need to get a gift for my grandfather’s birthday. Take me to the mall right now." She announced, and her assistant smiled.

Finally, the car pulled up in front of the party hall and Astrid took a deep breath.
Like it used to be, several reporters are already standing in the venue, waiting for the celebrities to pull up in front of the mansion.
"Astrid was about to emerge from the car when someone else’s car also pulled up in front of red.
Even though it’s been a year, one thing she will never forget Is the taste Julian has in the card.
His cars are always customized and even though she isn’t close to him, she could tell the car that just pulled up was nothing but Julian’s car.
" Young Miss aren’t you getting down?" Mr. Jenkins asked the passenger, oblivious to the car that just pulled up in front of them.
"Has Julian divorced me yet?" Mr Jerkin’s brow raised her sudden questions
"He hasn’t said anything regarding the divorce paper so I can give a response to the question."
"Alright," she answered.
The car opened, and Julian alighted from the car. She was pretty sure Mattie would be with him expecting her to also come out of the car.
But the door closed signifying she wasn’t with him. For a weird reason, she breathed out in relief.
"Get your senses straight, you are back to living your life not becoming someone else’s wife again," she murmured to herself as she caught herself slipping off again.
Astrid watched as Julian’seyes scanned the surroundings, finally landing on their car. He stared at it for a moment, before being led into the hall by the guests.
Mr Jerkins, who was sitting in the car, turned to her with a knowing look.
"So, he’s the reason you are refusing to get out of the car," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Astrid didn’t respond, her eyes fixed on Julian retreating. Mr Jerkins seemed to understand, a small smile playing on his lips.
Mr Jerkins got out of the car, opening the door for Astrid to alight. As Astrid stepped out. His arms stretched out, and Astrid wrapped her arms around his, smiling.
"I know you are not good with crowds, but with time, I hope you will adjust," he said, his voice low and encouraging.
Astrid nodded, her eyes scanning the surroundings. As they walked into the hall, the press turned their attention to her, their cameras clicking away.
"Who is she?" someone asked, their voice rising above the din.
"She’s so pretty," another voice chimed in.
"Is she a new model escorted by Maren?" a third voice asked.
Astrid’s smile grew wider as she listened to the comments.
It was a far cry from the hurtful remarks she used to receive about her weight and appearance.
She had worked hard to transform herself, and it was gratifying to see that people no longer recognized her.
As the hall door opened, all eyes turned to Astrid, their faces filled with curiosity and wonder.
Not just anyone but the whole of her family, the Adams, Logans, and her close friend Maren.
But the moment her grandfather’s eyes met hers, he knew exactly who she was. A warm smile spread across his face, and he opened his arms, welcoming her home.
She didn’t plan her appearance to be this way but it was worth it, seeing the expression their faces carried
