A Regressor's Guide to the Frozen Apocalypse -
Chapter 94: It Also Can Heal
Chapter 94: It Also Can Heal
With Pacifica’s orders, wall and barricade construction started again. This time the walls were to be made much more serious and thicker.
Even though the walls were made of stone, they still managed to be crossed, although it was not possible for that unknown Tier 5 Mutant Zombie not to cross such walls.
However, Pacifica had a change of heart, just in case, which is why she made an urgent call to Utopia’s two doctors and treatment inside Newtown began.
A few of the military troops had come with the doctors, after all, otherwise, Utopia would have been defenceless.
Light, meanwhile, was still concentrating on the pain in his body while warming himself in the snowmobile. He was gritting his teeth and continuing the process of trying to come to himself. The pain that came to his body was incalculable.
Andrei finally carried out a short check on Light and said the same things Pacifica had said in a little more detail.
He said that only the skin was a little bruised, but not to the extent that it could not be healed. This showed how much Light had improved.
At that time, several system windows that he did not expect began to open in front of him:
[Unidentified Mutant Zombie, recorded in the zombie encyclopaedia!]
[Tier 5 Mutant Obsidian Zombie
During the mining rounds, the mines were dug deep to avoid the virus, the virus was covered with the energy of the mines and produced a new virus variation.
It will not be affected by any attack except heavy and powerful strikes.
The slime-like skin around the body is a hyperactive poison. It will affect even Tier 6 Mutant Zombies and above. Can be used as a hyperactive extinguisher, and will have a healing effect on the human body].

When Light saw the system windows, he examined the characteristics of the mutant zombie and then called Pacifica with great surprise.
"Are you okay?" Pacifica had entered the vehicle, and when Light shook his head up and down, he said, "I’m trying to be fine. I want you to bring me the slime-like object in the zombie’s body by filling it into bottles. And if there is a zombie essence in the mutant zombie’s brain."
Pacifica immediately stated that she understood and after a short time, she came to the bottom of the vehicle with almost a hundred and fifty bottles.
This was how big the Tier 5 Mutant Obsidian Zombie was. The zombie must have had the ability to harden itself because Light did not believe that a slime-like object could hit him so hard.
However, he sent each of the vials he had taken from Pacifica to his inventory and asked Pacifica to put on a doctor’s glove and apply the black, slime-like object slowly to his leg.
Pacifica began to apply the slime substance to Light’s leg without much pressure and indeed with a little disgust.
"Are you sure this will work?" Pacifica questioned.
"The system says that this substance is a good healer, I want to trust the system," replied Light.
Pacifica nodded her head as if she understood and continued to apply the slime-like substance more seriously and carefully.
"According to the system, this substance is a hyperactive poison, against zombies of course, a poison that can even work on Tier 5 Mutant Zombies, and a healing tool for humans. It’s weird, the weirdness of what we’ve been through in seven months is a joke..." Light muttered.
Pacifica laughed, though tears were still flowing.
"I guess I’d prefer the apocalypse to happen..." muttered Pacifica. Light shook his head as if he didn’t understand and then questioned, "I think you said it wrong?"
Pacifica, on the other hand, looked at Light when her smile started to get smaller and then replied, "No, I knew that if there was no apocalypse, you would never come close to me, my love for you would only stay with me, and now I can stay with you almost every moment of every day."
Light coughed as if he couldn’t believe what he heard and then tried to speak by saying "Pacifica I..." but was stopped by Pacifica.
"You don’t need to say anything Light, I know that you are not ready and that you have a lot of responsibilities on your shoulders. I just want you to know that I and Elise are ready to accept you, after all, you are aware of both of our feelings. These are the things we will talk about when you are ready." Pacifica said.
Light shook his head, unable to believe his ears, and then kept silent and waited.
When Pacifica finished applying the slime-like substance to Light’s leg, she took off the glove and then put it in a garbage bag and closed the bag.
Then, without another glance at Light, she left the snowmobile and Light was left on his own. He didn’t know what to think.
Just an hour ago he was struggling for his life and now he had to think about his love life. He started to think funnily whether he was really in the apocalypse or not.
Amid all these thoughts, he took a deep breath and focused on the pain in his leg. Strangely, his leg felt incredibly comfortable.
Of course, there was still a huge pain, but the excruciating pain he had felt only two minutes ago had officially disappeared.
Light was able to realise at that moment that he had obtained a very valuable medicine, this was excellent news.
He was so relieved that he was able to fully recover, and then he said "system profile" to look at the things he needed to continue checking.
However, no system window opened in front of his eyes. He couldn’t understand what was going on.
"System profile."
He tried again, but again nothing opened in front of him. So he thought he’d put it out of his mind for the moment, after all, there was the fact that he could check it later.
As he closed his eyes and lay down on the floor where the seats met, wanting to rest, a glow in front of his eyes caught his attention.
What he saw would introduce him to stress, fear and that strange feeling he did not know.
