Chapter 59: Going Through The System Shop
Chapter 59: Going Through The System Shop
It had been a short time since Light had returned home. Normally, he would have gone to his sister to take care of her, after all, he had worried about her, but now was not the time. He quickly showered, cleaned his incredibly dirty body, and went straight to the system shop.
He had almost 90000 points and he needed to spend them and strengthen himself.
He planned to find scrolls that could improve him as a weaponsmith or something else. The fact that he wanted the fire spell with him made everything difficult, but the fact that he was already level 60 meant that the system shop had levelled up twice.
As it says in the specification of the same ability, every 25 levels the shop will be unlocked, allowing access to more items, food, drink and abilities.
This ability was so perfect, that Light could hardly believe his eyes. There were many things inside the ability, from bullets for many weapons to architectural plans, and this was just perfect.
Light could really see the difference. The System Shop looked like it had been through a really good upgrade.
The fact that even some gourmet dishes could be found here seemed to tell a little about what was going on.
It really was a great talent.
The happiness of having the architectural plans was much greater. Leonard and the others had already managed to clear the snow up to the first fence around the house. Even though there was still a little snowfall, the fact that there was an architect in the group made everything perfect.
Aurora.
Light knew this, so the architectural plans were especially important.
From small huts to houses that could be built with strong metals, there were plans for many things in the system shop. Even architectural plans for things like power plants seemed to be sold in this shop, even if they were locked and seemed to be opened much later.
The only problem was that all these architectural plans were ridiculously expensive, selling for 20000 points each.
Nevertheless, Light clicked on a plan to buy it instantly:
[Do you want to buy [Log Cabin Plan - 20000 Points]?
YES/NO]
Without thinking twice, Light pressed yes and then noticed the large piece of paper on the floor in front of him. He looked at it and saw an incredibly detailed architect’s plan for a log cabin, and smiled and put it in his inventory.
He wanted to give this architect’s plan to Aurora later to discuss what they could do with it, after all, there were more than a thousand trees around the house, and even if they didn’t cut them down, Light had tens of thousands of thick and large pieces of wood in his inventory.
Certainly, this should have been the first plan for the settlement to be established here.
However, Light only had 69,628 system points left, which he had to spend carefully.
Because of the unlocking of many things in the system shop, everything had become a mess, which was why Light spent a long time looking for things he might want.
After sitting where he was for almost two hours and searching the shop, he came across three things he could buy:
[Beginner Level Trap Inspection (Active Ability) - 15000 Points]
[Beginner Level Scouting (Active Skill) - 25000 Points]
[Lowest Level Observation Enhancement (Active Ability) - 40000 Points]
With these three abilities, his system points had dropped to 4000 and Light no longer had any business in the system shop.
That’s why he tore the scrolls of his abilities as soon as he received them and strengthened himself.
The Trap Inspection ability would strengthen his trapping ability and allow him to recognise traps he was likely to encounter in the future.
His Scouting ability would allow him to survive in the wild much more easily, after all, it was very difficult for something bad to happen to someone who was in command of his surroundings.
However, his last ability, Observation Enhancement, was completely broken. It was completely normal for the ability to be 40000 points, the ability itself allowed Light to see in the dark for a minute. This was an excellent ability, it could save everyone’s life when there was no light and almost everything was in a dangerous situation.
Light, however, thought that he could go to his sister and opened the door to leave his room.
Just then, Lawrence saw his sister Petunia and his buddy Pacifica standing outside the room.
"Ummm...Hello?" Light muttered suddenly, worried that something had happened.
"Arah is it?" Petunia said and Light shook his head and said "I couldn’t think of anything else, instead of calling myself Traveler directly, I wanted to choose something that meant the same thing in another language." and stood still.
"You’ve done some pretty dangerous things," Petunia complained, her face angry, and frankly speaking, Light didn’t dare to say anything as he didn’t want to be beaten by his sister.
"Still, it’s not all bad, my lady, if what we’ve heard is true," Lawrence said abruptly, and with that, Light said, "I’ve got work to do," as if he wanted to get out of the way, and quickly slipped away from the trio and headed for the door of the house.
The trio followed him, of course, and after a short time they made it outside, each of them worried that Light had only one layer of clothing on while everyone else was wearing layers and layers of thick clothes.
"Aren’t you cold?" Petunia suddenly questioned, and contrary to what she thought, Light replied, "Only a little, I’m quite strong after all."
After that, Light, whose eyes were locked on Aurora, immediately took out the architectural plan he had thrown into his inventory and then called the woman to him and handed her the architectural plan.
Aurora, on the other hand, did not seem to know what to say out of surprise. She didn’t know that Light was an architect.
