Chapter 54: Beyond Human Limits
Chapter 54: Beyond Human Limits
"What to do?" Light suddenly thought.
When he looked towards the lower part of the wall, he saw zombies that were slowly calming down but still trying to attack the wall. His heart was pounding.
This heartbeat was not out of fear, on the contrary, he did not want to distribute his skill points incorrectly.
He took a deep breath and then turned to Charles and asked, "Do you think strength or speed?"
Even though Charles found this question quite strange, he sent a reply back to Light, "It depends on what you’re asking about, sir."
Light nodded his head in understanding and corrected his question by saying "Which is more important for a soldier in such a situation?’"
Charles, on the other hand, took a serious attitude to this question and answered "Speed sir, bullet change speed, reaction speed, stopping speed with adrenaline and many more are very important for soldiers."
When Light heard these words, he shook his head and then thought, "Speed it is."
What Charles said was quite true. In such an apocalypse, anyone’s speed could save him from all dangers.
Light seemed to have made up his mind what to do now. After cleaning the snow on his mask, he said ’system profile’ and then started to work on the window in front of him.
Light looked at the window in front of him for a short while and then took a deep breath and added exactly 25 skill points to his ’Agility’ stat. With that, his body began to writhe with incredible pain. Suddenly, he began to convulse in his seat and felt his breathing becoming very laboured.
Light had reached 35 Agility. A normal person’s Agility was between 5-10, while a high-level athlete’s was between 15-20, which was the human limit. Light had put his body into a sudden shock.
In short, it would not be correct to say that he was human anymore. He was now a superhuman being.
’AAAGGHH!!!’ A sudden cry of pain brought the whole group to his head. Even though Charles and the rest of the group tried to understand what was happening, nothing changed and each of them suddenly paused.
The reason for their hesitation was that Light suddenly held his hand towards the group. This was a clear order to wait.
Although no one could understand what was going on, it was clear that Light needed protection at the moment, at least they could try to protect him against any zombie danger.
Therefore, even those who had retreated to rest were on the alert.

Light opened his eyes and realised that he could hear loud noises coming from around him. Dozens of bullets were ringing in his ears and the sound of zombies was rising among the bullets.
Light, who had managed to pull himself together with the sunlight in his eyes, suddenly shook his head left and right and then said ’system profile.’ out loud. The window in front of him filled his heart with pride:
[Superhuman Speed(Passive)
The user will be 10 per cent faster if he senses danger].
When Light opened his system profile, he saw this small window that appeared in front of him and shook his head left and right.
"I guess I’m not human anymore?" Light suddenly thought, and with that, it occurred to him that he had to finish his work quickly.
When he closed the small window in front of him, he saw that he still had 13 skill points left, and then he gave 5 of these points to Strength and the remaining 8 to Dexterity. With that, Strenght reached 20 and Dexterity 33.
[Superhuman Endurance(Passive)
The user is 10% more resistant to zombie attacks].
Light realised that his body was aching and writhing with pain again, but this time he was not pinned to the floor. He seemed to get used to the pain.
He closed the window in front of him and tried to stand up. However, he couldn’t control his speed and pierced through the tent at an incredible speed.
"PAT!"
He was so fast that he went through the tent and hit one of the shelters on the castle wall with his body.
Still, he realised that it didn’t hurt a bit. His stamina stat seemed to have helped him immensely.
"MASTER ARAH!" Lillia suddenly shouted, not only she but also the other members of the group seemed surprised by what she saw.
At that moment, Light threw his hand to his face in a rush to see his face but realised that his mask was on his face.
The fact that he couldn’t recognise his mask when he looked at his System Profile and even when he woke up seemed to show how absent-minded he was.
"I’m fine, go on!" Light suddenly muttered, and this time he stood up more lightly and calmly.
It was as if he had been teleported, the distance between the tent and the place where he had crashed was almost 30 metres, and the fact that he had travelled such a distance just trying to stand up was incredibly strange, but at the same time wonderful.
However, he was aware of the pain in his head. Indeed, his head ached incredibly, as if someone had punched him in the head.
He blinked his eyes repeatedly and then, realising that he could stand up normally, he took a step. Unlike before, his steps were quite normal. It was as if his body had recovered from the sudden reaction, which meant that Light had suddenly gotten used to everything.
At the same time, he suddenly took out another weapon from his Sub-Space and took out an ammunition box that was at least 4 times bigger than the one he had put out the day before, and came to Charles’ side with the appearance of being ready for battle.
The war seemed to be nearing its end, but Light’s war was just beginning.
After all, he was not even human anymore...Right?
