Chapter 314: Chapter 307: THE SORCERESS’S IDENTITY

Although she looked powerful, her power wasn’t all that back. Giving birth to the twins drained her a lot. Whilst she could borrow the power of the pets; she didn’t want to continue draining them anymore.

It was better for them to be stronger than her, at least they could fend off many enemies than her.

Because of being weak, she could only dare play some tricks and paralyze Orson and his men to get an advantage. Too bad they wouldn’t know.

But now was the question. How was she supposed to forget Orson and get rid of her ever-changing thoughts and feelings about him?

She was truly afraid that if her evil counterpart reemerged, one day she might indeed do something that she would regret.

But as they say, knock and the doors shall be opened for you.

’Why is that thing appearing in front of me again?’ she wanted to cry but her glands were completely dry as she looked at the familiar wormhole appearing in front of her which made her halt in her steps.

Who else was coming to her in such a place?

She was sick and tired of having people sent to her by that bastard sorceress. Although she had done a good job of letting her get this hidden bomb out of her chest, she still didn’t like her at all.

"I can smell your dislike for me from so many miles away!" Calista staggered as a familiar voice rang in her ears.

’How was this possible?’ she thought as she looked at the person coming out of the wormhole with a shocked expression.

Calista rubbed her eyes as she looked at the woman in black standing in front of her.

This kind of dressing and this kind of appearance. Wasn’t that what she heard so much about that damn sorceress?

"You are still cursing me!" the woman said playfully as she walked towards Calista, and the other stepped back, trying to digest what was happening.

Was it really a thing that what you think is what gets manifested nowadays?

The sorceress looked at Calista with a helpless smile. She didn’t think that she would be forced to show herself one day in front of her, to be honest, but just like Calista, she couldn’t escape fate.

While these two were having a face-off, Orson and Shadow, who had somehow managed to untie themselves, weren’t that far away from Calista.

So, when the wormhole appeared, both men were in a daze, curious about who was going to pop out of that wormhole. But when that familiar being appeared, they were both filled with unexplainable emotions.

It was because of this crazy sorceress that they were in that kind of situation. What was she doing here and appearing in front of Calista?

Orson couldn’t help but notice in his dazed state how Calista recoiled and seemed to know the sorceress.

Was that what was said to have a strong and deep love and hate-relationship?

Could it be in the days missing between Calista’s death and her rebirth these two somewhat met each other?

Calista and the sorceress would have both applauded him if they heard what he was thinking or focused on him. Because just like his guess, the two indeed have met and their relationship was complicated to describe.

Calista looked at the sorceress she hated so much and still does, but when she matched the face and the familiar voice, she didn’t know what to think at all.

She looked coldly at the other and asked, "What do you want again? As far as I am concerned, our deal ended a very long time ago!" feeling a bit disturbed by her appearance.

The sorceress chuckled faintly as she took steps forward and Calista stepped back. Seeing that, the sorceress stopped in place and looked at Calista helplessly, thinking to herself that she shouldn’t have overdone it, but alas the deed was already done. Who would have known that it would end so badly like that?

"You called for me and I am here to help!" she said with a shrug, spreading her arms helplessly.

Upon hearing that, Calista looked disbelievingly at the other, wondering what more tricks she had in store while Orson and Shadow’s ears were perked, trying to hear what those two were talking about.

The sorceress sneered upon seeing that but didn’t take any action. It was going to be all over once she was done.

Calista, seeing the other not responding, rummaged through her mind to check what she was thinking about before the sorceress appeared and when she got it, she couldn’t help but look at her dubiously.

"Which part of the call do you want to answer?" Calista couldn’t help but ask curiously, her tone a bit teasing.

The sorceress, seeing her like that, heaved a sigh of relief, seeing that her mood seemed to be getting much better and that she had nothing further to worry about.

"Do you want to forget or make him forget?" the sorceress asked directly, while her gaze was fixated on Orson.

When Calista heard that, she was silent for a long time. Standing in front of this person with the same voice that changed her life for the good, she didn’t dare be hasty. At the same time, seeing the sorceress’s gaze fixated behind her back, she became curious about what she was seeing and when she those two her eyes narrowed as all bad memories related to those two flooded her mind.

"It seems that it’s not a good thing to keep him in your memories, isn’t it?" the sorceress couldn’t help but rub salt in the open wounds, a sneer on her face as she looked at Orson who was clenching his fists while looking at her with piercing eyes.

Too bad he couldn’t do anything to her.

’If it wasn’t for you bringing him to me, would I be in such a situation?’ Calista wanted to curse the sorceress but held herself back.

Seeing that she was the one responsible for all this mess, there should be a good reason right why that was happening.
