The twins, being held on each side of her arms, were busy suckling the milk energetically, their eyes closed and looking very cute in the process.

Calista was blessed with abundant milk, fortunately. And the thought of getting those massages to stop the lactating process made her nearly throw the mammy out of her house.

Her breasts had enlarged, and in them was her baby’s food. Wouldn’t she be defying the heavens by denying her baby their rightful food?

Seeing them drinking milk now, she was all smiles.

Who cares about drooping breasts? It wasn’t like her physique, and all that spiritual energy in her body was all for nothing.

"The young master and mistress are drinking well," standing by the side, one of the mammies complimented with a smile on her face.

It was rare for infants to drink their milk obediently without making a fuss. These two were obedient. As long as they weren’t hungry or hadn’t messed up their nappies, they wouldn’t know they were there.

Besides, they loved sleeping a lot. So, the moment of suffering had not yet arrived.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door, making Calista raise her head to look at who the guest was.

The door wasn’t locked and was slightly open, so as soon as she raised her head, she spotted the people who had come to visit her. The moment she saw them, a smile blossomed on her face and called out happily, "Girls, you are here! Come over here!" motioning for the girls to come into the room.

As for their father, maybe she saw him or she didn’t.

Orson, seeing himself being ignored, could only smile helplessly as he followed his daughters into the room.

Calista rolled her eyes at seeing the shameless man entering despite her breastfeeding the babies.

’Why should I mind? It’s not like there isn’t any part of my body that he didn’t see or touch!’

"Mother! Little brother and sister are awake?" Emma excitedly asked as she looked at the two bundles still suckling their milk.

Calista who loved children so much, felt her blood racing wildly when Emma called her babies with the right title.

It would be a mess if the two sisters didn’t like her babies when the possibility of the six of them becoming a family was very high.

She had accepted Orson to pursue her once again on the day she brought her two angels to the planet. Orson had been trying his best, and she was very satisfied.

Before, they didn’t have time to date. Everything happened so fast. Maybe that’s why it never worked out until the very end.

"Um. They just woke up and are hungry now," Calista gently said in response, looking at the girls with a smile on her face. "Did you eat?"

"Yes, we ate and took a walk as well."

"That’s good. Remember to exercise regularly. You need to strengthen your bodies if you want to grow up healthily," she praised the girls before saying in a reminder.

They were getting better with each passing day, however, to be safe, being cautious and strengthening the body and immunity would help them in the long run. They shouldn’t give the infections or diseases a chance to strike again.

Revenge could be scary and deadly.

Calista chatted with the girls and answered their questions in the process.

After a while, the twins were no longer suckling the milk and were now full.

The mammies took the babies over from Calista, and she dressed herself properly.

Emma and Gemma’s eyes were stuck on the babies who were being patted on their backs so that they may burp and perhaps go back to sleep again.

While that was happening, Orson walked towards Calista before sitting down on a stool facing her.

"How are you feeling?" he asked concernedly as he reached his hand towards her.

Calista didn’t reject his touch but let the doctor do what he knows best, diagnose.

"I am feeling great. I don’t think that I have any lingering issues at the moment," she answered truthfully.

If there was any lingering ailment, then it should be hidden because she didn’t feel a thing.

Orson felt her pulse and asked her a few more questions, which she answered truthfully. Once the diagnosis was done, he reported to her, "Your body is doing fine. I don’t sense anything that we need to worry about. However, your body does need rest. With enough rest, the energy that you lost before will slowly consolidate and you will be back at your peak once again."

Calista froze for a moment, her eyes flickering with an unknown glint before returning to normal. "Okay, I will rest as much as I can."

Orson heaved inwardly, seeing that she didn’t make a fuss but accepted what was there with an open mind.

Her body suffered a lot of damage when she gave birth, at least in terms of spiritual energy. The twins sucked all of her energy that day. If it weren’t for Blackey and Whitey who shared their energy with her, it would have been a disaster.

Now her body was slowly gathering the energy again. As long as she rests well, the energy in her body that was consumed would return and she would be strong once again.

Although he would have loved to have her weak like an ordinary woman, knowing his job and several identities, a stranger woman would only be acceptable to him.

He didn’t dare risk having a weaker woman.

He would rather make her stronger than weaken her.
