Chapter 242: Chapter 242: CONFINEMENT – BREASTFEEDING 3
"Huh ~," Madam Fischer sighed as she massaged her throbbing temples.
Today’s lecture was indeed very insightful. All these things, she had forgotten about them and how important it was for a woman to nurture one’s kids from a young age.
Thankfully, Calista wasn’t muddleheaded and managed to think of what was best for herself and the kids.
"You are truly good at defending yourself!" Madam Fischer praised Calista sincerely, seeing the effort she had put into scaring and educating them.
Calista beamed brightly, her eyes smiling into crescents at being praised.
"It’s not really defending. I am just stating the facts. Of course, what works for me might not work for others. So ....." she said, spreading her arms, scrunching her nose cutely.
The women in the room all chuckled, finding Calista very sinister, but in a good way.
"Okay, we get you. After listening to this, I will be shameless if I continue asking you to not breastfeed your children."
"Since that’s what you want and I do understand where you are coming from, I will also support you on this."
Meanwhile, Ma Susan’s eyes were shining as she digested the lesson she had just received.
There was a lot of useful information said right now, and if the other villagers were to learn about it, wouldn’t it be good?
Looking at Calista who was busy chatting with the others, she thought to herself, ’I will talk to her about the matter later. She must spread this awareness to others,’ determined to help and enlighten the mother and future mothers as well.
Calista successfully managed to convince the ladies, and that saved her from being pressured from all sides.
"Waaa~ waaa~~waaa," however, when they were in the process of talking, the babies who were supposed to be sleeping suddenly woke up and started crying, both of them at the same time.
Calista turned her head to look in the direction of the two bundles, crying a mess after waking up.
What were these ancestors of hers trying to do?
The mammies hurriedly went to pick the two up, but they didn’t stop crying. They were sniffing, looking very pitiful, and it made her heart ache.
"They should be hungry!" Calista said as she looked at the two who had eaten some time ago.
The mammies didn’t deny that but told her, "I think that we need to change them first. They have pooped."
Calista chuckled when she heard that. These two really knew how to live life, didn’t they?
"Sure. Just clean them up. I will feed them once you are done," Calista agreed with the mammies.
Although the children were hers, the thought of playing around with poop didn’t sit well with her.
Once they were clean, they could eat. No exception.
So, the babies got their nappy change and once they were freshened up, the two were no longer crying. They were splitting bubbles, earning several praises from the women.
"The kids really take after their parents. They can’t stand being unclean."
Calista grinned when she heard that. Who else would they be taking after if they love being dirty?
Even their father was a clean freak.
When the kids were cleaned; they were brought to her, and she held them in her arms.
Despite being a few days since she gave birth, she had mastered the art of feeding these two at the same time.
They really love causing trouble despite not being at the age of seeing properly. She couldn’t feed one child at a time, otherwise, the other would cry a fit.
The women, seeing that she was about to breastfeed, all excused themselves.
Although they were all women, breasts still remained an intimate part of the body. So, they left the room, leaving Calista with the mammies.

Outside, the women were still thinking about the earlier discussion, or rather the one-sided slaughter, which rendered them speechless.
Diana, being a maiden who had not yet taken the pleasure of being a woman, couldn’t help but say, "After listening to sis today. I think that when I go back home this time, I am going to write a book and distribute it everywhere," feeling too inspired by what she had heard.
Leeshay turned her head towards Diana as she walked, amazement in her eyes as she looked at the other.
"Don’t forget to credit Calista," Madam Fischer loved the idea of the book. She couldn’t help but remind Diana.
Diana grinned, seeing that she was getting supported and even felt more motivated. However, someone else had another idea.
"Why don’t we let Calista write the book when she is free? At least if she is the one who writes it, she would be able to explain better since she seems to know more than what she told us," Faith suggested, unafraid of how her suggestion might offend Diana who came up with the idea in the first place.
No one expected Faith to come up with such an idea. In fact, if she hadn’t explained after suggesting Calista do it, they might have thought that she didn’t like Diana or wanted to thwart the idea.
However, when they digested the explanation of where Faith was coming from, Diana, who felt offended the moment she heard Faith suggesting otherwise, loosened up as she found the idea acceptable.
Indeed, Calista seemed more knowledgeable. Not only about the matter at hand, but other things as well. If she wasn’t lazy, maybe her name would be widely known all over.
Agreeing with the fact that the idea was good, she looked at Faith and answered, "Um. I will bring the idea to her and see if she agrees. If she doesn’t, then I will do what I can. I can’t miss this chance," her firm determined as she said so.
This time, Faith didn’t make things difficult but agreed. There was no harm in trying, after all.
With everyone agreeing, peace once again returned to the group of women and they all went outside talking and laughing.
On their way, they came across Orson with the girls and kindly informed them about what Calista was doing.
Since the babies were awake, the three were quite thrilled, and hurriedly bade the women goodbye before hurrying to see Calista, who hadn’t left the main house ever since she gave birth.
