"She is a good child! Let’s call her Halona," she softly said as she looked at the girl with so much love.

She was very fortunate to give birth to her. The two of them might have never seen the day of light again. But because of their fortune, they both survived.

When everyone heard the name, they didn’t oppose it at all. When others were used to giving the babies’ names after one month, Calista directly named her baby without even consulting the father.

Was Orson angry when he saw that?

He didn’t have the right to. In his mind, he was glad that she was alive. That was too dangerous.

Besides, Halona sounded pleasing to the ears.

Because the baby needed to be cleaned and all that, she was supposed to be taken out. Besides, everyone in the room was looking forward to seeing the baby, so Ma Susan naturally took charge of such a thing while bringing everyone outside.

Thinking about Calista, she raised her feet, walked towards Orson and said to him, "Please hold your daughter!" before carefully passing the infant to him.

Orson nervously took the baby from Ma Susan’s arms. Her face was wrinkly, but that was how all babies were like when they were born. He had seen Emma and Gemma before, so he wasn’t that much surprised.

Holding his daughter in his hands, his fatherly love started oozing.

Hayes and the others also became interested in the baby. As for Calista, although they were worried about her, the two beasts were too powerful. There was nothing that they could do to help except after the delivery.

Calista, on the other hand, couldn’t believe what was happening.

She felt like crying, but she had no more tears.

Thankfully, the delivery of the second child this time went much smoothly compared to the first and when the baby was out, she felt light for the first time. She could now tell that whatever was inside her was all gone. There was no more baby anymore.

The midwife skillfully clamped the umbilical cord, wrapped the child with the extra wrapper in the room and excitedly brought her to her side.

As for the beasts, they were harmless. And as people who would be living at the manor long term, if they continue fearing their mistress’s beasts, then would they still have the qualification to stay with her?
