The months he was apart from her were very bad. The girls for a moment were okay after taking the medicine and those women from the island kept on trying their best to climb his bed. It was irritating.

He found out that letting another woman get closer to him was impossible. He felt irritated that he would rather not have any of them get anywhere near him.

And yet every single night she kept on coming to his dream like a ghost. Even if he wanted to forget her, he couldn’t. And it affected him so much.

Thankfully, returning to her side again taught him a lot of things, and as he looked at her right now, although it might sound selfish and a bit bad, he was glad for everything that happened.

On top of that, despite his concern about her welfare in the past few days, and the fact that she didn’t get her apology, it all felt fake and done for the sake of it.

However, listening to his confession right now, Calista felt that she didn’t know him at all. And that fact was real. Just like how he didn’t know her, she didn’t know him as well.

Instead of blaming him for everything, won’t it be good to start anew?

Even if they won’t get back in the future, it wouldn’t hurt to become friends, at least, right?

Even if you were to stay with your family in that part of the world and come to me once in a while, I would have accepted it.
