The nymph didn’t head towards the ship as she intended in the first place but went to the main camp where her main interest was currently.

Thinking about the fine man she couldn’t get no matter what tricks she played; she couldn’t help but feel furious. Not at him though, but at that vixen. She smelled one thousand miles away the very second; he returned from wherever he disappeared to in the past few months.

She was very sensitive when it came to scents and fragrances. Her nose was so good at sniffing that she was known for her tracking abilities. Her nose was like that of a wolf and as long as the scent was there, she could sniff it and get to the bottom of it.

When he returned, there was this lingering sweet scent on him, which even made her feel enchanted with a sniff. And it was a kind of scent that only belonged to a woman. And whoever that woman was, she was very powerful and even more powerful than she and the other women she had ever seen on the island or faced in the past.

Having such kind of woman able to be intimate with the man she fell for at first sight and did everything in her power to have but couldn’t have. For the first time in her life, she panicked and felt threatened.

She knew the doctor pretty well. He was a man known for his many faces. He was treacherous, sly, romantic, and above all, deadly.

Unless he allows you anywhere near him, no one could go near him.

His hand was capable of healing and killing at the same time. Some called him the divine doctor, some called him the goldy hand and some know him as the gentle scholar.

The scholar who steals the ladies’ hearts with just a smile. That handsome and hypocritical smile of his is enough to send women into a frenzy and make them do anything that he wants.

A man so deadly like that, how could he have another woman’s scent when he dearly loved his wife so much?

What happened to him when he was away, and what happened to that woman?

No one knows what happened when he was gone and he wasn’t saying a single thing.

She wanted to know his secrets but above all, climb into his bed. Even if she becomes a concubine, who cares? As long as she becomes his.

If she acts too late, those other vixens in the camp might surpass her. There were so many females eyeing the doctor, after all.

The nymph finally arrived at the main camp and when she did, she found the camp’s atmosphere a bit strange.

The guard, afraid of her, didn’t dillydally with the answer and answered straight away.

And when she heard that, Vaani threw the guard away and ran towards the main hall, already on guard.

This damn cloaked sorceress was the source of all troubles she was facing.

If this damned person didn’t appear one day on the island and told the doctor nonsense, he wouldn’t have disappeared for a very long time and without his whereabouts known.

Meanwhile, inside the main hall, several bulky men, ribbed with muscles and emitting deadly auras, stood guardedly with their weapons in hand as they looked at the familiar sorceress, who was busy checking the two girls lying on the soft beds, unconscious.

Standing next to the sorceress was a tall man, with a half mask covering his face.

Despite the mask, anyone with good eyes could see that he was very handsome and his face so bewitching that it could drive both women and men crazy upon revelation.

Standing a distance away was another taller man, with a lean body, but the muscles on that body were enough to tell that the man wasn’t a force to be reckoned with.

He stood very tall with a strange necklace around his neck. And for those living on this island, this necklace was something that all of them knew and understood its meaning.

It was a symbol of authority and one of the items which showed that the man standing there was the chief. The man in charge of the stronghold and the man that all of them looked up to.

And this man happens to be the brother-in-law of the masked man standing close to the sorceress.

The masked man was the famous person everyone knew as the divine doctor, the godly hand, and the brother-in-law of the chief.

And the girls lying unconscious and getting checked by the sorceress happen to be his daughters.

"How are they?" the divine doctor asked the sorceress upon seeing her withdrawing her hand.

The sorceress, with her face hidden beneath the cloak, turned to look at the masked man and let out a sigh.

"I can say that you met a good scammer. She is a good one!" she couldn’t help but say, amusement visible in her tone.

When he heard that, his eyes narrowed as his jaws tightened, understanding what the other was saying.

"Are you saying that she gave me the wrong medicine?" he asked angrily, his tone icy as he clenched his fists, furious at the thought of getting scammed.

The sorceress let out a chuckle as she was amazed by how easily agitated this man got by hearing a few words like this. Who made him do what he did?

If only he was patient and truthful, maybe he wouldn’t be in such a state.
