’Where am I? What happened to me? Who saved me?’ those questions swirled in her mind as she looked around the spacious room, she was lying in.

With a glance, from the moment that she woke up, she had noticed that the room that she was in belonged to an affluent person.

From the bricks, the decorations and the vibe of the room itself. Wherever this place was, she had stumbled upon a person she needed to be careful about.

She didn’t know where that girl she saw rushed to, but she had an inkling that the other must have gone to call for her masters.

She couldn’t help but feel nervous at the thought of meeting her saviors. She didn’t know how she appeared, and whether the people who saved her witnessed that. Not knowing made her extremely anxious.

She didn’t get to wait for long as she heard footsteps approaching and female voices, revealing to her that whoever was coming to meet her was probably the mistress of the house.

Sitting with difficulty, since she could still feel the searing pain coursing through her body, proving how dangerous that move she did back then was, she waited for the others to arrive. And a while later, the people appeared.

When Calista heard that the lady rescued was awake, she was, of course, very happy. After all, constantly taking care of an unconscious person was more difficult than someone awake.

Besides, she was curious about the place where this lady came from. She wondered if she was also from afar like Mammy Lena and would require months to return home.

And when she entered the room, she saw the lady sitting with a pale face. The pain must still be tormenting her. What a pity. But who made her believe that sorceress and use that damn wormhole that didn’t even spare both men and women?

Since she wanted something desperately, then she might as well suffer the consequences.

Calista pasted a smile on her face as she approached the bed and, without hesitation, she sat on a stool looking at the other.

Mammy Lena stationed herself next to her lady as she observed this patient whose means of transportation were just like hers.

Just who was she?

When the lady saw the others looking at her so openly like that, her cheeks heated up as her ears turned red from the shyness.

Just what kind of people look at others so brazenly like that without feeling shy?

Calista noticed that her staring caused the other to be shy, but that couldn’t be helped. She just wanted to have a closer look at her for a moment.

However, recalling how busy she was and the many things that she needed to do, she decided to stop wasting time. Faces can still be looked at later and appearances are appreciated in greater detail when everything else is in order.

"Hello, I am Madam Solace. The lady who rescued you a few days ago. Do you know who you are?" Calista introduced herself before asking the most important question with her eyes narrowed dangerously, clearly emitting a warning, ’Don’t you dare play a fool!’

And Mammy Lena’s stern gaze made the other shiver and tremble with fear. She wasn’t a fool to not understand what these two were implying. Even if she had guts, she wouldn’t dare risk it, especially when her inkling was telling her that these two might have seen what she feared the most.

She quickly calmed herself before responding, "Thank you Madam Solace for saving me. I am forever grateful!" giving her thanks to the other. She was sincerely grateful for being saved.

She didn’t know what kind of medicine was used, but she could tell that if she hadn’t been found and the medicine not administered, she would be dead or in a tricky situation, making it impossible for her to recover fully.

So having someone willing to rescue a stranger and provide such medicine, she felt that she had come across a saint this time. She couldn’t help but feel grateful towards the other.

Calista smiled as she listened to the earnest gratitude.

"I still remember who I am. My name is Lisa and if I may ask, how did you find me?" Lisa introduced herself before asking what had been bothering her for a while now.

Knowing how she was found would help her conjure the answers she would need to tell her saviors, so she was quite anxious.

Seeing that the other didn’t have plans to play the amnesiac card, Calista motioned for Mammy Lena to explain to Lisa what happened.

Mammy Lena, given the chance to share Lisa’s experience, didn’t hesitate but happily narrated everything that happened.

Lisa, listening to the bizarre teleportation she made, couldn’t help but curse that cloaked sorceress. This wasn’t what she promised her. How could she lie to her like that?

Thankfully, the people who saved her didn’t cause a fuss. If they were bad people, who knows where she would be right now?

Lisa sighed dejectedly after hearing everything that transpired and looked gratefully at the madam who had saved her.

"Madam, I am grateful to you for saving me. I am afraid that if you weren’t there, I might have been long gone!" her body trembled with fear at the thought of the consequences she might have faced.

"Indeed, that was very dangerous of you to do that. Now can you tell me what that lunatic promised you for you to agree to do something so dangerous like that?" seeing that the other didn’t have any intentions to beat around the bush on what happened to her, Calista asked.

Now she was certain that all these people were getting scammed by one person. And she was curious about Lisa’s story.

When Lisa heard Madam Solace’s question, her eyes quivered, shocked to know that the other might know something about that cloaked sorceress.

"Madam, you .... Do you know that sorceress?" Lisa asked in a higher tone, shocked by this revelation.

Calista’s eyes narrowed as she thought of this damned sorceress.

"Yeah. We are acquaintances, sort of. Considering how she is so generous to send me people after people all the time!" Calista responded as her gaze briefly landed on Mammy Lena.

Mammy Lena, sensing her lady’s gaze on her, scratched her nose guiltily, knowing fully how much her lady hated that sorceress to the bones.

She saw how pissed she was when that wormhole appeared. If that sorceress was to ever appear in front of her lady, she was certain that a showdown would surely happen.
