Chapter 153: Chapter 153: SHE IS A GENIUS!

Cropville Village had changed drastically over the past few months and all of this was all thanks to Calista and the support of every villager.

Without their support, all her ideas would have been worthless. After all, how can she make a village prosper when everyone is against it?

With everyone’s support and help, she made her dreams come true. Or rather, helped the village chief’s dreams come true.

And if they were to know that all of this was because she wanted to get married to a man, she scammed but now gone to goodness were, the people would be so shocked.

Fortunately, the ins and outs of her marriage weren’t known practically to everyone. Except for the two involved, the rest knew bits and pieces.

As the councilor, who goes by the name, Sir Henrich toured around the village, he couldn’t help but applaud Calista’s mind.

Not many people could achieve what she had done in a few months.

Not only did she come up with numerous ideas to make the village prosper, but she was also generous that she donated so much to the village.

This was what people called repaying a drop of water with a fountain.

Just because they took her in when she had nowhere to go, Calista was doing all of this five years later to repay their gratitude. Just thinking about how envious the Nicosa Villagers would be because of this, his eyes squinted sly at the thought of this.

If it were he who had lost all of this, he would go crazy. People were the same, very greedy and selfish. They couldn’t help themselves.

He didn’t know or understand why they hadn’t caused trouble yet, but he couldn’t help but hope that they do so. Who doesn’t like seeing drama?

"The several buildings in the village, the clinic, workshop and that hall. Madam Solace provided for all of them for free!" as they continued to walk, Ba Susan kept on explaining the happenings of the village.

"The clinic, for the villagers, they are provided free medicine for ailments such as flu, cough or headaches. The simple kind of illness can be treated for free. The person in charge of the clinic isn’t yet a doctor, but she can do her work well. Ever since the clinic has opened, the rate of sick people in the village has immensely decreased!" he couldn’t help but boast, feeling proud of such an achievement.

For every chief, the scariest thing was tallying the number of deaths every single year. Whether they died due to sickness or natural disasters. It never sits well with him. Especially when some of the causes can be prevented.

To think that the winter passed peacefully without any deaths, he couldn’t help but feel proud.

Sir Henrich nodded in approval, loving the charitable idea of Madam Solace. Because of her sacrifice, she saved a lot of people. And for that, he couldn’t help but look at her in a more positive light.

"That hall is used for lessons. Every villager, from young to old, has a chance to learn how to read and write. And she sponsors all of it!"

When Sir Henrich heard that, he couldn’t help but look at the hall, which was filled with people learning from a young scholar who carried an air and aura, which made his eyes twitch for a second.

’He isn’t a simple person!’ he surmised after seeing him.

"Where is he from?" he couldn’t help but be curious.

Ba Susan responded, "he is a friend of Madam Solace!" providing the basic information he could.

As for the others, it wasn’t his right to say more.

Sir Henrich didn’t continue pursuing that issue and moved on to others.

The workshop was completed but not opened yet. Even Ba Susan didn’t know what Calista planned to do with it yet, but it was certain whatever it was, it was going to be epic.

After showing that about the village, they moved on to the factory area.

The factory and the dorms were both completed in terms of construction. The dorms were still getting furnished and every day, the carpenters could be seen delivering the furniture to furnish the dorms.

"These are the dorms?" Sir Henrich couldn’t help but ask in amazement as he looked at the buildings.

They were quite enormous for a free place for employees to live in.

Ba Susan nodded, a smile on his face as he imagined how bustling the place would be in the future once it opened.

"Um. These are the dorms. From what I heard; the dorms can accommodate up to two hundred people!" he shared the information with the councilor.

When Sis Henrich heard that, a smile blossomed on his face as he imagined how many people would be hired once this project started.

From what he knew, accommodation was given to people who stayed far away. That means that those who stay closer might not need these dorms as well. And that automatically meant that more than two hundred people might be hired in the future.

Won’t this be good for him?

With the majority of people getting jobs, the rates of complaints would reduce. When everyone is employed, and getting paid, a lot of problems will also be reduced as well.

As he looked at the dorms and then the factory, he could only see from a distance but not enter, he felt that the decision he made today was the best.

After seeing the village in person, he now knew what needed to be done and how to interact with Madam Solace. he just hoped that the talks would go well.

And that a collaboration that would last for a very long time would be established.

He couldn’t bear to let someone with such a genius mind just be left alone.

He couldn’t.

And as he returned to the village chief’s house, still waiting for the messenger to arrive, a detailed plan started forming in his head.

What’s there not to formulate a plan for?
