The next day, Calista woke up with so much energy that she wanted to do something about it.

After breakfast, Calista decided to deal with the baskets of fruits she picked yesterday before meeting the wounded lady.

Thanks to that lady, the issue of fruits was set to the side. In the end, these amazing fruits were temporarily forgotten.

Fortunately, her memory was still intact, and she dreamt all night about them that she salivated.

Now that it was morning, it was the perfect time to deal with them.

She picked pears, apples, avocados, oranges and lemons.

For avocados, she decided to set them aside and only use them when she wanted to eat them. She had picked only a few, so she was safe.

With the avocados aside, it meant that the pears, apples, oranges and lemons remained.

There was so much that she could do with these fruits. Her favorite was to make fruit juice. After all, juice can be consumed when eating anything. And since she barely drank wine, the juice was perfect for a person like her.

There weren’t many ways for her to use fruits she had in possession except making juice or consuming them like that.

But she didn’t believe that was the only option that she had.

So, as she had a contest with the fruits, a few more ideas cropped in her mind.

Apart from the two methods, she can make fruit salad. It was very refreshing and a nice way of utilizing fruits.

She can also make a fruit shake. She has a juicer already, so modifying a blender wouldn’t be difficult.

At the moment, she couldn’t get the fruits. Besides, she didn’t like canned fruits herself. Unless it’s for selling.

So, the other option for her was to dry the fruits and turn them into dry snacks. She had seen dried fruits before and they were very tasty.

The last method she thought of was cakes. By doing confectionery, she can bring the flavor of these fruits to the fullest and blow people’s minds out.

Currently, there are no cakes available anywhere. This means that once she starts this business, she would be in for a killing.

At the moment, she didn’t have a lot to do and with so many fruits available that needed harvesting, venturing into the fruit cakes business would be a good idea.

At least until Diana brings her machines, she won’t be idle.

The market street was filled with buildings already and ones she was still contemplating on how to use.

She already has a customer base that needs to be kept very close to her. One day, these people might get bored with what she was cooking. Or other restaurants might copy what she was doing, causing her to lose customers in the process.

That wasn’t what she wanted. If the customers were lost, how was she supposed to boost the market street in the future?

So, bringing in a variety of attractions which were unique only to the village would help to retain the customers.

She would need to discuss this issue further with the village chief.

The job was tiring and exhausting, so opening the food workshop in advance might be required here.

To maintain quality, Calista didn’t dare trust her fellow villagers to take on such tasks by themselves. Only when such projects were in her hands would she feel secure?

However, she didn’t want to expose her small orchard at the moment, so the villagers might be forced to venture into the forests and find fruits for her.

Talking about fruit trees, she once thought of having the village start an orchard. If she tells Ba Susan about her idea and how she wants to use the fruits, the man might be tempted and her problem solved.

Of course, other villages can also adopt this project. She didn’t believe that she wouldn’t be able to consume all fruits when the time came.

With that in mind, Calista started washing the fruits personally and setting them into an empty basket.

Once that was done, she had the maids take the fruits back to the house, leaving her with a few. With the ones she remained with, she had one of the maids carry them and both of them went to Ba Susan’s house.

When the Dickens received Calista, they weren’t expecting her at all. Nonetheless, they still welcomed her warmly, and the house was filled with laughter.

After exchanging pleasantries, Calista opened the basket in front of the elderly couple and said, "I brought you some fruit. Please have some!" with a smile on her face, curious to see their response.

The couple took a look at the fruits and couldn’t help but look quizzically at Calista.

"Dear, what kind of fruits are these? Are you sure that some of these can be eaten?" Ma Susan asked doubtfully as she looked at the lemons, especially.

It wasn’t like she had never seen a lemon before. When she was young, she and her other friends once chanced upon the tree, and their greediness got the best of them.

They were so sour it stung their tongues. They regretted even trying such an unknown fruit.

So, seeing it again, she couldn’t help but doubt Calista and her intentions.

Ba Susan, on the other hand, had never seen any of these fruits except the oranges. Calista’s love for orange juice was something that they all knew, and once in a while, these fruits were brought to his home. So, he recognized them immediately.

However, what about the rest? What were they?

Seeing that they were doubtful and confused, Calista felt like she had hit a jackpot.

Taking that as a chance to start her presentation, she began to explain to the elders as she picked a fruit.

Picking the red apple from the basket, she told the couple, "This fruit is called an apple. And apples come in different colors. Some are red like this one and others look green. Others are yellow and white and some are stripped. In other words, you can find them in all these colors and all of them have this shape. So, it’s easy to recognize them!" as she showed the overall shape of the apple, Calista provided more information.

Of course, she didn’t know how many colors she would be able to find in this world of hers. Just in case they chance upon them one day, they would recognize them straight away.

And to prove that it was edible, she sliced the apple into four and gave the couple two pieces and she ate the other two as they watched. This was her way of proving that it wasn’t poisonous, so there was no reason for them to worry.

The couple, seeing that, also took a bite and when the apple produced that crunch sound, the couple couldn’t help but feel jovial as the juices of the apple filled their mouth.

"This .... This is simply delicious!" they exclaimed in surprise, astonishment on their faces.

Seeing the couple enjoying, Calista was happy as well. Once they fall under the allure of fruits, they won’t run away.

And she wanted just that.
