"Hurry! Return home with the baskets and bring a few more. Today I am going to pick some apples!" Calista instructed hurriedly, as she looked at the maids.

The maids didn’t linger after getting that instruction and left the forest, heading back to the manor to collect what they were sent for.

With them gone, Calista remained behind with Mammy Lena and they weren’t idle.

Calista first marked the apple tree. This way in the future, she would find it easily if it wasn’t just a pop-up tree that would appear and disappear like a ghost.

After doing so, she took Mammy Lena and started checking around nearby to see whether there were any other interesting fruit trees. She didn’t believe that there was only one tree.

And surely her hard work paid off as she came across a cluster of fruit trees just a distance away from where she found the apple tree.

"Oh, my goodness! Am I seeing well?" Calista exclaimed exaggeratedly, her hand covering her mouth, as her eyes shined brightly like diamonds looking at the strange combination of fruits she was seeing.

Even Mammy Lena felt like she was dreaming as she looked at the fruit trees, some of which she recognized.

There was a pear tree, avocado tree, orange tree and lemon tree.

Looking at these fruit trees, Calista’s mind suddenly got enlightened.

Wasn’t this the season of fruits like these?

Just before, she had never seen them so packed together and to think that they were all behind her house. How couldn’t she notice?

In September, October and November, fruits that could be found easily if searched for thoroughly in the wild or planted, were apples, pears, avocados, coconuts, dates, grapefruits, guavas, lemons, nartjies, oranges, papaya, pears, pineapples sweet melon and strawberries.

Of course, other fruits were available in all seasons, but right now, those could be found.

In the many years, she lived in these two neighboring villages, the best she had found was oranges, lemons, grapes and bananas. And yet, with a simple walk, she found plenty of trees. How could she not be happy?

Maybe in the future, if she walked more, she might be able to find more trees like these.

Thinking about these trees, Calista felt that if she re-transplanted these trees and started an orchard, she might go somewhere.

Or encourage Ba Susan to let the villagers plant an orchard and raise these trees. In the future, everyone might benefit from it.

of course, she was going to have a personal orchard herself.

Fruits were essential to one’s health, and she was going to stuff herself with some.

So, an orchard was a necessity.

Looking at the avocado tree, which was tall and full of avocados which looked appetizing, she suddenly was salivating for some bread.

There was so much an avocado could be used for. But she still loved using avocado as a bread spread. It tasted heavenly that way.

Without further ado, Calista marked the small orchard.

Calista picked the few fruits which had fallen to the ground and Mammy Lena, seeing her, also joined her.

All the fruits weren’t that bad. Probably fell due to wind and other factors.

After picking them up, they were put into the basket which remained behind.

"Let’s go and wait for the girls by the apple tree!" after picking what she wanted, Calista stated.

Mammy Lena, seeing so many fruits being left behind, couldn’t help but look at Calista wondering what she wanted to do with the trees, but in the end, remained silent.

As they left, Mammy Lena didn’t see a black and white shadow flashing behind them and in a matter of seconds, the visible orchard was no more.

Unaware of the disappearance of the orchard, Mammy Lena carried the basket with the fruits all the way to the tree.

When they arrived, the girls were in the middle of picking the fruits and looked jovial while doing so.

"Don’t empty the tree. Only fill the baskets you brought. They might spoil if we take more!" Calista didn’t forget to remind as the girls picked the fruits.

"Yes, my lady!" the girls responded cheerfully.

As they picked the fruits, Calista started doing mental calculations on how she could utilize this new opportunity for everyone. Lost in thoughts, suddenly a strange and yet familiar surge of energy surrounded her, startling her and jolting her out of her premature thoughts.

With an uncanny and irritated expression on her face, Calista infuriatedly glared in the direction where the familiar energy was coming from.

And she wasn’t the only person sensing that, as Mammy Lena and the two girls who were holding the baskets stood there with trembling feet as they witnessed a strange phenomenon, something that they never thought they would see in their lives.

Even Calista, seeing it happening again, couldn’t believe her eyes as well.

Was she that unfortunate?

She wanted to curse desperately.

However, seeing the damn wormhole getting bigger by the second, she knew that it was pretty too late.

"My lady, what ... what is that?" shocked by the unfamiliar scene in front of her, Mammy Lena asked stutteringly to Calista, who seemed the calmest if she set aside the fury in her eyes.

With how she understood Calista, Mammy Lena had an idea that she knew what was going on. And whatever was happening, Calista wasn’t a huge fan.

When Calista heard Mammy Lena’s query, she looked at the other, a bit baffled.

Mammy Lena came out of the same wormhole, so how could she not remember such a thing?

"Mammy, you don’t recognize this at all?" Calista asked, baffled, as she looked at the other and the wormhole that hadn’t spit the person out yet.

Mammy Lena, getting a question instead of an answer, looked confusingly at Calista for a moment before shaking her head. "No, I don’t. should I know it?"

And her expression showed that she was indeed being truthful.

Could it be that the wormhole looked different when taking people in and spitting them out?

"Sigh!" she couldn’t help but sigh as she wondered which person this sorceress was sending to her again.

Just what was wrong with this sorceress was that she liked sending people to her that much. If it was possible, she desperately wanted to have a one-on-one with her and discuss their misunderstanding and solve them neatly.

At this rate, who knows which bigshot might be sent to her?

"Lady!" Mammy Lena called out to Calista, seeing how she was in a daze without answering.

Hearing the summon, Calista could only set aside her thoughts as she looked at Mammy Lena once more and responded, "This is how you came here!" revealing the truth.

Mammy Lena, upon hearing that, gawked at Calista with shock in her eyes.

"I ...."

"Yes, this is how the sorceress sent you and it seems she found another victim again!" with gritted teeth, Calista hatefully stated.

"Ah~~~~~" And at that moment, a yell resonated in the forest, scaring the maids into falling on their buts and Mammy Lena into staggering backwards as a bloodied female got spit out by the wormhole.
