Chapter 134: TALENTS ALL OVER
Chapter 134: Chapter 134: TALENTS ALL OVER
When the sun was rising, the road was filled with people, all headed towards one place; Cropville Village and all of them were both excited and nervous.
After all, their future wasn’t certain. So, they could only hope.
These were the artisans around the district who were available around the time the message was sent throughout the villages that Madam Calista was searching for many talents.
Who didn’t know her?
Her achievements and deeds had spread throughout and everyone was talking about her. Whether it was because they were earnestly happy for her or envious. People were talking.
Of course, a lot were envious. After all, Calista favored her village more than other villages.
When she seeks workers, she finds them. When having fewer people, she even hires the children. She never even thought of hiring outsiders. So how could they not be jealous?
But this time, she decided to find talent from other places as well. Then it was well.

Cropville Village
Meanwhile, Calista woke up early in the morning, yawning as she stretched her arms while groggily looking around the massive bedroom.
Although it was big, it wasn’t lonely at all. Knowing that this place was hers made her happy that she could roll around for the whole day.
There was a time when she had to share a tiny space with several others. It was more of sleeping while seated. Sleeping was a luxury, one granted to her with her death. She cherished every second she got to sleep and woke up every day.
Life was that precious to her.
After all the sleepiness was chased away with her thoughts, she climbed down the bed, her feet landing on the mat made from bear animal skin.
There were cloth shoes neatly placed there, and she wore them since stepping on the cold floor was prohibited.
Still wearing her sleeping wear, Calista didn’t hurriedly leave the bed but flipped the pillow to reveal what lay beneath. And when she saw the shiny silvers, she couldn’t help but beam brightly.
Ever since she started being serious about these village projects, the deities of wealth had been rewarding her with silver coins, which was truly a wonderful thing for her.
At least with so much money in her hands, she didn’t need to worry about running out and stopping the projects halfway.
It was as if she was given so much money from the beginning so that she could walk on this path. Otherwise, why was the money getting better and better as everyone’s lives started getting better?
Anyway, setting aside that matter, Calista picked up the money and took it to the walk-in closet where her money and medicine cabinet were.
When she opened the drawer with money, seeing it half with all types of coins inside, she felt at ease. She added the silver coins gained that day to the others before closing the drawer.
She didn’t leave after doing so, but pulled out the medicine drawer and took a few drops of medicine before leaving the closet.
Calista’s morning routine was simple, especially now that she was with a child and with servants.
In the morning, after waking up, she would go to her bathroom where she would find the tub already filled with water. Since Mammy Lena knew about how diligent she was when it came to hygiene, she had the servants prepare a lot of hot water in the morning.
By the time Calista wakes up and takes her morning bath, the water will be warm and not that hot.
The tub, due to it being a bit too big, didn’t get filled, but the water was at least a third of the tub, allowing Calista to sit in the tub with the water covering her legs at least.
Calista added some flower petals to the water before taking her bath.
After spending quality time in the tub, and feeling clean, she climbed out of the tub, draining the dirty water out at the same time.
After drying herself, all the water had been drained out.
Calista’s next chore after bathing was changing into a beautiful outfit. Since she no longer had to work hard like before, there was no need for her to wear her working clothes in the morning.
As for the bedroom, a maid would clean it for her.
After the bath and changing, Calista ate her breakfast in the dining room, which consisted of porridge, eggs, vegetables and a cup of warm milk.
When the belly was full, Calista left the manor with Mammy Lena in tow.
"Miss, the artisans came in numbers. I am certain that you will find all the kind of artisans you want today!" Mammy Lena reported excitedly to Calista as they headed to the village chief’s house where the artisans were gathered.
Calista beamed upon hearing that.
"That’s good then. I hope that I will not regret this in the future!"
"Hehe, there is no way that you will regret this, trust me. When talent is lacking, it is wise to find it where it is. This way, you can make quality products and not suffer a double loss in the future."
"That’s true. Let’s go and see what we have there!"
With the two of them chatting enthusiastically, it wasn’t long before they arrived at the chief’s house. On the way, they came across other villagers and had small chats, so they arrived a bit later. Fortunately, it was still considered early.
After all, she didn’t specifically set the time to meet with the artisans.
Even if they are disgruntled about her lateness, what can they do to her?
So, when she arrived, a chair had already been prepared for her. it was very comfortable and stuffy.
As she took her seat, Calista greeted the men and women who had arrived earlier than her with a smile on her face. "Hello, everyone!"
Facing such a strange way of greeting, what could these elders and artisans do?
They could only greet back in the way that they knew.
