To get to Liresa City, Calista had to travel to Silverbroke town first, which was a five-hour journey.

Thankfully, with the carriage, the trip wasn’t as tiresome as it was before.

When they arrived in Silverbroke town, the sun was setting.

On this night, she and Mammy Lena slept at Faith’s house since she was planning on borrowing her carriage. It was better to use Faith’s carriage than hire one. After all, with a hired carriage, she would be forced to share it with many people and move at the coachman’s pace.

The next day, Faith gave her the carriage and the coachman as well as the horses’ feeds before biding her farewell.

She also wanted to find someone knowledgeable about medicine. This way she can find someone to man the clinic on her behalf.

She wanted to buy books, inks, and quill feather pens for her studies. She was planning on letting the villagers learn a few things. Being illiterate wouldn’t make the village prosper in the future.

If they know at least to read and write the basics, then they won’t be cheated, something that she was greatly aiming for.

At the same time, she wanted to find a few teachers who could help her teach the villagers their studies as well as the subjects of interest, which were going to be of help in the future once the factory started operating.

She wanted artisans who knew what they were doing to teach the villagers. This way, she won’t be having any problems once the factory starts operating.

Personally, she wanted to get herself some stylish clothes, a few utensils for the restaurant and her house, and then the baby clothes. customize several items and take them in the future.

There were a lot of services that she could get in the city than town, so she was eager to go there.

Having Mammy Lena alone wouldn’t suffice, so she was planning on buying a few people to serve her as well.

She didn’t lack money, so she might as well gather a few to surround her and make the house livelier.

The journey to the city took three days since they stopped frequently on the road to rest.

When the walls of the city came into view, Calista who hadn’t been to the city in months beamed, her eyes squinting upon seeing great civilization.

After entering the city, Calista and Mammy Lena were taken to the inn that Calista usually stays at whenever she is in the city.

Fortunately, there were still rooms available. So, she paid for three rooms, including the coachman. He would be with them until they were ready to leave.

After hearing on the road for days, she was fatigued and just needed a lot of rest.

So, after taking a well-needed warm bath, which refreshed her body and mind, Calista ate a warm meal before napping soundly for hours.

When she woke up, the sun was setting once more. Feeling a bit more energized, Calista, no longer sleepy, decided to check the night market.

People in cities never sleep. There were a lot of entertainment services provided at night, so there was a lot for people to do and enjoy themselves.

"Miss, you need to take care of yourself!" worried about Calista’s wellbeing, Mammy Lena reminded as she followed Calista on the busy road.

Calista beamed at Mammy Lena. "Don’t worry. I will be fine!" she said as she fanned herself with a familiar fan in hand.

Mammy Lena, hearing that, decided to trust Calista. After all, for a young woman to have lived by herself all these years, it means that she has guts and her talk wasn’t just a talk.

Calista was interested in a lot of things. She saw delicious food; she bought and ate whatever she craved. Whenever she saw games being played, she would stop, watch and leave after giving a tip.

On the first night of her arrival, she enjoyed herself to the fullest before returning to the inn where she took another rest.

The next morning, Calista first fished the money under the pillow and it vanished in her hand. Destination, somewhere very secure.

After waking up, she dealt with her morning chores first before heading to the restaurant where she ate breakfast with Mammy Lena. As for the coachman, she had given him enough money to enjoy himself. When she needed him, she would look for him.

In Liresa City, Calista wasn’t a lone wolf. She had made several friends, and since it’s been ages since she last saw them, she decided to go and take a look.

With their help, she would be able to get what she wanted pretty fast than for her to do it alone.

After breakfast, the two of them left the inn and started walking towards a restaurant, which was roughly an hour away from the inn.

Since there were shops along the way, the trip to the restaurant wasn’t long. On the way, Calista looked at the shops, the people, fashion trends and new foods which were trending lately.

Over an hour later, Calista finally walked into the restaurant, fanning herself lazily as her eyes glanced around, checking the place out.

When she entered, one of the servers hurriedly went to her side to serve her. And when he saw her, his eyes beamed. "Madam, it’s been a while. Please come this way!"

Calista flashed a smile at the familiar server and said in a soft tone, "Um. It’s been a while indeed."

"It’s good to see you again. Madam will be glad to hear that you are in the city!"

"Haha, then help me send a message. Tell her that I am here and would love to meet her!"

"I will surely do so. But for now, what do you want to eat?"
