Chapter 101: Chapter 101: FAIRY!

After the bath, and changing into a black dress, Calista went to check on the patient again, but she was showing no signs of waking up.

In the end, she went to the pantry, where she picked the ingredients for breakfast and headed down to the kitchen outside.

With a patient who might wake up any time, Calista was going to cook some meat porridge. Cooking was something that she dearly loved, so she paid much attention to it.

It took nearly two hours for her dish to be cooked to satisfaction. As she was cooking, she even came up with the perfect restaurant menu for that day. All that remained was to gather the ingredients for Susan and Naomi to pick up later.

With the coachman coming to pick up the food earlier, the time was moved upwards, which was better as they could knock off earlier too.

Meanwhile, inside the house, as Calista was feeding herself in the kitchen, the patient who was supposed to be sleeping was sitting on the bed with an astounded expression on her face.

’Where am I? What happened? Did I succeed?’

The woman was busy asking herself a barrage of questions, confusion now on her face.

She didn’t know where she was or who saved her. Judging from what she had seen, she was indeed in someone else’s house, but how she got there remained a mystery.

She still recalls how the last thing she remembered was the excruciating pain she felt when she walked into that wormhole. Her body felt as if it was being torn apart by a thousand horses and the pain was unbearable.

However, for the sake of her mission, she could only die if that was how it was going to end rather than giving up.

In the end, she woke up in this place and she didn’t even know where she was.

’It will take you to the person that you seek!’ suddenly the words of that mysterious person surfaced in her mind, jolting her out of her confusion.

"Boom!" suddenly she stood up as enlightenment dawned on her.

’Could it be ..... no, no. I need to go and check!’ she nervously thought, her hands shaking with an unknown feeling.

Before leaving the room, the lady looked at herself in a mirror placed on top of the cabinet and, seeing that she was presentable, she hurriedly went out.

Since she wasn’t certain where she was, she started looking around and, after a quick tour; she realized that she was living in a tree house.

"Is the owner a hunter, perhaps?" she couldn’t help but wonder. However, after seeing how the female clothes were more than the male’s, she hurriedly shook her head.

Nothing in the house proved that this was a hunter’s house. But if it wasn’t, then why live in a tree house?

Whoever the owner was, that person should be close. So, she continued with her scouting and before she knew it; she was standing by the door, a height above the ground level, looking towards the kitchen where the attempting aroma of food came from.

While she was gazing toward the kitchen, suddenly a kitten appeared from the back of the kitchen and was looking at her. She watched the cute fury ball as it tilted its head, probably wondering who she was.

"Meow. Meow. Meow." However, before she could think further, the cat started meowing, startling her for a bit.

"Whitey! Stop it! Can’t you let me have some peace? If you are hungry come here and stop complaining!" however that wasn’t the shocking thing, a lovely female voice sounded from the kitchen and it sounded very vigorous and energetic.

Whoever was in the kitchen, she was someone who couldn’t be trifled with.

As soon as the voice sounded scolding the cat which she now knew to be Whitey, the kitten glared at her for a second before cat walking to the kitchen.

From a distance, she heard the woman chastising the kitten for a short time before the other said, "You should have said that in the first place rather than go around in circles!" clicking her tongue in the process.

’Could it be possible that this person can understand the cat language?’ otherwise, how was she talking to it?

When she was busy thinking about this, a piercing gaze was suddenly directed at her, forcing her to look in the direction where it came from.

’OMG! Who is this beauty fairy?’ she exclaimed wondrously, her mouth wide open and her eyes twinkling upon seeing such a pretty person.

"I see that you are awake! Come down and join me. I am having breakfast!" the fairy flatly said before disappearing into the kitchen without giving the lady time to utter a response.

However, she didn’t feel disappointed. Such a pretty lady had saved her. How can she not be happy?

And since this person was the bearer of her answers, her liking for the other increased. So, she hurriedly took the stairs down before walking speedily to the kitchen where the other was sitting on the bench eating porridge and the kitten licking the porridge from an expensive bowl, if she might add.

’Just who was this person?’ her curiosity was piqued.

"There is some left in the pot. You can serve yourself. No need to restrain yourself!" the fairy said to her, giving her free reins in the kitchen.

Hearing that, the lady looked at Calista for a bit before she started serving the porridge. She wasn’t in the state of being pretentious and rejecting food.

Her stomach started complaining the second she woke up and she couldn’t wrong her stomach.

After serving her plate, she went to sit down a short distance from Calista and started eating. She wanted to preserve her manners just like how she had always done it back home, but who would have foreseen that the food was so delicious?

In the end, she went all out, slurping the food hungrily, and by the time she realized that she had lost all manners, the plate was squeaky clean and Calista was chuckling faintly by her side.

Seeing what she had done, she could only scratch her nose embarrassingly and apologize.

Calista shook her hand with a smile on her face, obviously liking this new resident of hers, "no pressure. It’s good to see you so relaxed and at home."

Upon hearing the word home, the lady couldn’t help but feel complicated. However, she restrained her emotions and didn’t dare expose them.

She was already a burden to the fairy and didn’t want to cause more problems for her.
