Chapter 401: I’ll Do It!

Loui continued, "I am very much aware that she would be killed as well along with the third prince and his wife. Everyone that works for him will be eliminated, therefore, I’d like to make a deal."

Ryan watched him with interest and Loui took a deep breath.

"If you guarantee my sister’s safety, I will tell you what the third prince’s plan is in exchange. This way, there would be no chance of survival and you would be able to kill him surely."

Ryan was indeed taken aback by this. He tilted his head, an amused smile emerging on his face. "You are betraying him? Why? Do you not care for your boss?"

"I do care," Louie replied. "But when it comes to my sister and my family, everyone else is invincible to me. She is my priority and I would do anything to make sure that she is safe. She was entrusted to me by my father and I cannot let her sustain even a scratch. I must keep my word to my father."

"Is that so?" Ryan burst into laughter, heavily entertained. "I wonder what look my little brother would hold if he finds out that his trusted man is betraying him. What a fickle world.

He looked at Loui. "Well, your deal sounds good to me. But first, you will have to come with me."

"Why?..." Loui was perplexed.

Ryan replied, "To meet my father. Only he can approve and keep your sister safe. So if he says yes to your deal, you are good to go." He stood up from his seat and began to exit the quarter. "Follow me."

Loui hurriedly got up from his seat and hurried after him into the main royal mansion, making sure to go through the back so that Draven wouldn’t be able to see Loui or anyone else catching a glimpse of him.

They arrived at OlMasterer Lenort’s office and Boris made their presence known.

"Come in," he permitted.

Boris opened the door and Ryan along with Loui stepped into the office, The door being shut behind them.

"My lord!" Loui immediately bowed respectfully, this being the first time he’d ever been that close op with Old master lenort.

Old Master Lenort furrowed his brows. "Who is this?" He questioned, lifting his eyes to look at Ryan with confusion.

Ryan went ahead to introduce, "Father, this is Loui. She is one of Draven’s men who has been working for him."

"Today, he has come up with a deal. A very interesting one, actually," he added.

Old Master Lenort shifted his gaze to Loui, his eyes narrowing malevolently and suspiciously. "Why would you be here to make a deal with me? Aren’t you scared?"

"Scared?" Loui smiled. "I am indeed scared, Your Majesty, but I would do anything for my sister even if it’s at the cost of my life."

Old Master Lenort stared at him for a few seconds more before shifting his attention to Ryan.

"What is his deal?" He asked.

Ryan didn’t waste time to begin explaining, "Loui here wants to reveal whatever plan it is that Draven has, thus making it easier for you to kill him. But in return, you would guarantee the safety of his sister. She is one of Avelina’s maids."

"Oh?" Old Master Lenort arched his brow. "You just want your sister safe, nothing more?"

"Yes!" Loui nodded, bowing.

"I see. Give me her description first." Old Master Lenort stamped the paper on his desk.

Loui smiled heartily, not hesitating to give it. Sure, he was an asshole for betraying the one man that saved him during the time things were heavily awful for him. But what can he do? This was his sister and he needed to secure her safety.

If anything happened to her, he would never be able to live with the guilt and neither would be able to face his parents or his sister on the other side. Someone has to be sacrificed and it can’t be his sister. She was much more important to him than anyone could ever be.

Old Master Lenort nodded at the description and stood up from his seat. He walked over to Loui and stood in front of him, his aura utterly weighing down on the common blood. It almost felt like he was trying to intimidate him.

No, he wasn’t trying, but he was in fact intimidating him.

"Instead of just giving me information, there is something that I want you to do for me. This way, killing humans will be guaranteed," Old Master Lenort said, smiling.

Loui couldn’t dare to look into his eyes. He asked, "W-what is it?"

Old Master Lenort walked to the shelf in his office and grabbed a small bottle filled with liquid. He grabbed Loui’s hand and put the bottle in the center of his palm.

"This is poison. Feed it to Draven." His smile was cold.

Loui’s eyes flickered rapidly and he quickly lifted his head to look at him. "B-b-but your majesty. I-i can’t. T-that—"

"If you can’t do this much, forget about your sister. I will do very well to make sure her death is more painful than you can ever imagine. Trust me, I always keep my word." Old Master Lenort chortled, walking over to his desk to sit down.

"Boris, take him out. I don’t need incompetent—"

"I’ll do it!" Loui clamored, his heart skipping a bit. "I’ll do it, my lord, so please, keep my sister safe like you promised." He begged.

Old Master Lenort shrugged. "As long as you do as I asked and report back to me with evidence, I’ll make sure your sister is perfectly well."

Loui took a deep breath and nodded his head. "Thank you, my lord."

"You have only three days to do this." Old Master Lenort said and diverted his gaze to Ryan. "See him out, boy."

"Yes, father." Ryan nodded, pleased within himself. He led Loui away and out of the mansion.

With the poison, Loui proceeded back to the estate where he lived with Olive and the rest. He knew it was only a matter of a day and Draven would come to make a plan on how to keep himself safe including his wife.

"You’ll have to forgive me, Don," he said, looking up to the sky. "I have to be selfish this time around and turn my back on you. Maybe in the afterlife, I will make it up to you."

He flagged down a taxi and left.

Loui continued, "I am very much aware that she would be killed as well along with the third prince and his wife. Everyone that works for him will be eliminated, therefore, I’d like to make a deal."
