Chapter 195: What About It?

Chapter 195: What About It?

Ryan smiled to himself and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. "You should rest now."

Natasha nodded at him. She turned around and exited the office. As soon as the door was shut, Ryan called in Lancelot.

"Young master." Lancelot bowed to him.

"Find the witch that my wife had visited. Bring her to me. I have some nice things to say to her," Ryan ordered.

Lancelot was confused. "Young master...nice things?"

"Mhm," Ryan smirked at him. "Some people are quite insolent. I must say nice things to her before punishing her."

Lancelot flickered his eyes. He had many more questions to ask, but knowing that he shouldn’t, he turned around and left the office to do the task given.

Pierre walked out of the mansion and proceeded straight to the email box. He opened it and glanced inside to find a letter.

Without a doubt, he knew it was from Draven. He grabbed the email and walked back inside to meet the others who were waiting in the meeting room.

"The mail is here," he said, waving the mail.

Everyone’s face lit up, and they watched him sit down. Without hesitation, Pierre opened the mail and took out the paper. It was a lengthy, big white sheet of paper.

"Spread it." Loui’s eyes were filled with curiosity.

Pierre nodded and spread the paper on the table. They looked at it, trying to understand what was drawn on it.

It was perfectly and neatly drawn, but having not been inside the royal mansion, they were not sure which direction was which.

Prince furrowed his brows, not sure what to do. Loui began to stroke his jaw, deep in thought. "What do we do with this?"

"I’m not sure." Lucien shook her head. "I thought Don would be doing it in such a detailed way that even if we had not been in the royal mansion, we would be able to move in."

Olive, who was by the side, glanced at each of them with crumpled brows and shook his head as though in incredulity.

"None of you know how to read a map?" he questioned, his brow arched.

They all looked at him at the same time and shook their heads. "I don’t think we do." Lucien glimpsed each of them, asking, "Do we?"

"Nope," Ava said.

Pierre added, saying, "Not me either. This is the first time that I am actually trying to read a map."

Loui nodded his head, concurring with him. "Same here."

A low groan exited from Olive, and he pinched between his brows.

"For goodness sake, you guys are useless." He snatched the map and looked through it.

"This is simple to read. Don would not draw trash to give us. He was careful with it. Look here." He pointed at the centers of the map.

"This is the foyer. Hmmm...there are more than four foyers, so I believe this biggest one is the general foyer. Leads to the dining room, the king’s quarter, as well as the living room. No, this leads to every single quarter there is in the royal mansion."

Aware that he was accurately reading the map, they all paid careful attention to him, especially Prince.

Olive continued, "This is Don’s quarter. This is the first prince’s quarter, this one belongs to the second prince, Lumian. This one belongs to the fourth prince, Lestat."

Lucien rolled her eyes. "Urgh! I hate him!"

"We all do." Ava chuckled.

Olive nodded, agreeing with them. "And this one..." he halted speaking.

"What about it?" Ava’s expression was one of curiosity. The others glimpsed Olive, waiting for him to continue.

Olive cleared his throat. "This one belongs to the fifth prince...Valentine."

Realizing the reason why he stopped talking for a moment, they nodded at themselves but didn’t say anything.

"Hmm, looking at all these, this place..." Olive pointed at a room close to the one that marked Ryan’s room. "...This place is Lady Natasha’s private room. No doubt about it."

Pierre stroked his jaw in thought.

"Olive."

"Hm?" Olive looked at him.

"We won’t exactly need to infiltrate Natasha’s room, right?" Pierre queried.

Olive gave a nod. "Yes, we won’t. Why do you ask?"

"Well, look at the map. Can you tell if each quarter has a private kitchen?" Pierre asked.

Olive averted his gaze to the map. He carefully checked through each of the quarters and immediately nodded.

"Indeed, each quarter does have a private kitchen."

Pierre smiled. "Don’s plan will work."

"What do you mean?" Loui probed.

Pierre looked at him. "Well, a private kitchen is much safer and less risky. We wouldn’t want the poison going into the wrong mouth."

Everyone gave a nod, concurring.

Olive glanced at the map again. "This is their private kitchen." He pointed somewhere around Ryan’s quarter on the map.

Loui shifted his attention to Prince. "Are you taking notes?"

"Qui," Prince replied.

Pierre walked over to Prince.

"This mission is yours, Prince. Be careful and do not get caught, okay? If anything goes wrong, contact us immediately or call Don since he will be the closest to you, alright?"

Prince nodded. "D’accord."

Pierre patted his shoulder.

"What about you, Lucien?" Loui asked. "Is the other rash poison ready?"

Lucien nodded. "Qui!"

"I will call Don and inquire if we should begin now," Loui said, pulling out his phone to dial Draven’s number.

Draven sat across from Avelina, waiting for her to make a move. They were playing chess.

Seeing her about to make an unacceptable move, Draven slapped her hand. "You don’t do that, Avelina! That’s cheating!"

Avelina gasped.

"C-cheating! I would never cheat. You just don’t want me to win." She glared at him.

Draven’s jaw fell. "Are you kidding me? Of course not. You play fair and don’t cheat."

"But I am not cheating." Avelina shrugged. "Draven, we have played this three times in a row now, and you won’t even give me a chance to win! How can you call this cheating? You are the one bullying me right here!"
