Chapter 179: I Want All Of Him!

Caesar smiled.

"I see you remember me now."

Draven balled his hands into a tight fist, feeling deep anger beginning to steam within him. He could feel his blood boiling.

This man, Caesar, was the sole reason for the death of his mother. It was the worst incident in his life that he would never forget, even if he had memory loss. Subconsciously, he began to scratch his neck, unaware that he was starting to hurt himself.

"Oh, sell me the boy, Lenort." Caesar sat opposite Old Master Lenort. They were seated in a meeting room where it was just the two of them.

"I cannot do that, Caesar. Can you stop making such a reque—"

Caesar slammed his hands on the table. "It is not a request, Lenort; it’s a demand. I helped you get what you wanted, and you became the heir. Now why can’t you give me what I want?"

"Do you think that if I could give him to you, I wouldn’t?" Old Master Lenort questioned

Caesar folded his arms.

"Lenort, tell me why you cannot give me the boy. You don’t even like him! You don’t consider him your son. All you have been doing is torturing him over and over again. You want to kill him in the most painful way possible, which will just be a waste. He is just sixteen!"

"That boy is a prodigy. He is special, and you know it! None of your sons can live up to him, so why?"

"Special?" Lenort burst into laughter. "He is not special! He is evil, and I must get rid of him."

"He is a special Lenort!" Caesar disagreed.

He smirked. "Sometimes I cannot help but think that you envy your own son. He is better than you in everything, and look at those white pairs of wings. It’s like something we’ve never seen before. I really do not understand what you are doing."

"Okay, fine, since you really want to get rid of him, give him to me. Let me buy him from you. I am no longer demanding him, but I want to purchase him. Any amount you call, I will not object."

Old Master Lenort’s expression turned ugly. "Why do you want to buy him so badly, Caesar? What is it that you desperately want from him?"

"Him as a whole. I want all of him." Caesar smiled.

"What?" Lenort was confused. "What do you mean by that?"

Caesar rolled his eyes. "Do not play dumb with me, Lenort. I want that boy, and that’s it. Do you know how much those pairs of his wings are worth? White wings are something no one has ever possessed before. Much more valuable than gold, and even you know it yourself. You envy it because everyone believes he is special. Heaven’s favorite, perhaps."

"You’re spouting bullshit, Caesar!" Old Master Lenort scowled heavily at him.

Caesar crossed his legs.

"Am I? Am I really, Lenort? I know you more than anyone could ever know you, and you are aware of that, Lenort."

"You are afraid of what that body will become later in the future, and you do not want to admit it. At the age of sixteen, he has so much energy surrounding him. There is such an intimidating aura that even you cannot stand it."

"Sure, he does not look anything like you, but that is because he looks like his mother. The red strands in his hair are not a big deal. It does not mean that he is not your son or that Erawada bore him from another man. You and I know that’s not true. Royal blood runs through that boy."

Even though Caesar could glimpse old Master Lenort’s expression darkening with every word that he spoke, he did not hold back.

Old Master Lenort balled his hands into tight fists and took a deep breath.

"I will not give the boy to you, Caesar. Please take your leave."

Caesar grabbed his hand, stopping him. "Lenort, I want that boy. You will not understand—"

"Understand what?!" Old Master Lenort glared at him. "You want him, you want him! Just keep quiet!"

"Do you think that I do not have an idea of why you are so desperate for him?"

Caesar frowned.

"What do you mean by that?

Old Master Lenort scoffed. "I know why you want him! It is because of his blood, right? He has the strongest and most royal pure blood that mine cannot even compare to his. Is that not why you want him?"

"If I sell him to you, you will drink him dry in order for you to multiply your strength and get way stronger than you already are. And when you do, what will you do? Come for me? Force things that you shouldn’t and take away the things that do not belong to you! The things that you desire!?"

"Do you think that I am not aware of the sort of horrid man that you are? If it were someone else standing right here in front of me, asking for this boy to be sold to him, I would have gladly done it, but you...no! That boy is like a weapon, and he mustn’t fall into your hands. Leave at once, Caesar!"

He began to walk to the door, but a sentence from Caesar had him halt.

"If you do not give this boy to me, I will expose you, Lenort," Caesar said. "No one knows that you’re the murderer of your own blood brother, loved by many. The one who should have become the rightful heir. I wonder what will happen when I do."

Old Master Lenort glanced at him. "Go ahead, Caesar. Do what you want, but Draven will not be given to you." He opened the door.

"Then what about Erawada?" Caesar asked. "I want her, and you know that I always have. Since you cannot give the boy to me, give his mother to me. You do not have any use for her, so I am sure this will not be a problem."
