Chapter 115: You Are Filthy!

Chapter 115: You Are Filthy!

The gate to the royal mansion closed.

Adam got out of the car. He opened the door and grabbed hold of Valentine, who appeared heavily drunk.

"Young master..." Adam’s expression did not look too good. He had warned Valentine to slow down with the drinking, but Valentine was too carried away to even listen to him.

He wrapped Valentine’s arm around his neck and held his coat on his other arm. Carefully, he began to walk him into the mansion. They strolled through the foyer to walk to his quarter, but Old Master Lenort, who appeared to have been outside, frowned at the sight of them.

"Stop right there!" he ordered.

As much as Adam didn’t want to, he couldn’t disobey the king, so he halted with Valentine resting against him.

Not just old master Lenort was out, but Lumian and the rest except Draven were outside in the foyer. It was as though they were having a meeting before Valentine returned.

Old Master Lenort stormed towards Valentine. He harshly grabbed his chin and lifted his head to have him look at him. Valentine’s eyelids were hung low. He appeared sleepy.

"How many times have I told you that I do not want you coming back to this mansion drunk?" Old Master Lenort questioned.

Valentine gazed at him. He did not answer but simply chuckled. What was amusing him, they had no clue about.

They could glimpse Old Master Lenort’s face scrunching in vexation at that instant.

Adam didn’t need to be told what would happen next, so he resorted to imploring on Valentine’s behalf.

"Your Majesty, please forgive him. It was my fault. His Highness is not a heavy drinker, and I failed to stop him. Please punish me in—"

"Shut up!" Old Master Lenort yelled at him. "Unless I ask you to speak, do not utter a single word!"

Adam immediately went quiet, his body trembling in sudden fear.

Old Master Lenort looked at Valentine and abruptly gripped him by the hair.

This obviously hurt from the look on Valentine’s face, but Valentine did not react. He was rather smiling, as though indirectly mocking his father.

"You son of a bit*h! What sort of a disgrace are you? Get married, you cannot! You just cannot do any—"

"Whose fault is it?" Valentine questioned while laughing in a taunting manner. "Common, tell me, father, whose fault is it? Is it mine?"

Old Master Lenort’s face contorted in deep rage. It was as though he had been infuriated, and Valentine was right there for him to vent his anger on.

He tightened his fist and disgusted by the smirk on Valentine’s face, he heavily sent a punch to his face, causing Valentine to fall to the floor.

"Young master!" Adam immediately rushed to Valentine and knelt beside him. He lifted him a bit into his arms and glanced at his face to realize that his nose was bleeding.

"Y-young master, are you alright?" he asked, deeply concerned.

Valentine did not respond. He looked at his father and pushed Adam off to stand up to his feet. He was staggering a bit, confirming that he was still quite drunk.

"You know something, old man? I have been waiting for a day like this. A day where I can finally scream at you for what you have done to me!" He was smiling while wobbling towards Old Master Lenort.

He fell into Old Master Lenort’s arms and gripped him by the collar of his coat.

"Do you see...? Haha. Do you see what you have done to your own son, father? It is all your fault! You could have saved me then, but of course, I was not important to you. You chose to throw me away to your friend so she could use me as she liked. Isn’t it funny? HAHAHA!" He burst into laughter as though he had gone mad.

Then he tilted his head. "Do you know what infuriates me the most?" he asked.

Old Master Lenort was staring at him. His eyes held a glint of disdain.

Lumian, who could not watch any longer, stepped forward and gripped Valentine by the hand.

"Enough. Stop it!"

Valentine looked at him. "Take your hands off me, Lumian!"

"Valentine, do not cause any unnecessary—"

"Lumian, you really do like to interfere in things that do not concern you! I said you should take your hand off me. This is between me and my father. So BACK OFF!" Valentine’s emerald eyes were dim, hinting at his obvious anger.

Seeing that their father was not reacting, Lumian reluctantly let go and stepped back.

Valentine smiled at Old Master Lenort. "You have not answered my question, Father. I asked you, "Do you know what infuriates me the most?"

"You are filthy! Get off me!" Old Master Lenort grabbed his wrists to push him off.

But Valentine, however, did the latter before he could.

Old Master Lenort staggered back and glanced at him with disbelief in his eyes.

"What infuriates me, father..." Valentine began to speak. "...Is that you never took responsibility for what you have done? You did this to me! You made me like this! But you blame me. You blame me as though it were my fault! You blame me as if I had had her do those horrible things to me!"

"You watched her hurt me!! You watched her abuse me, your own son, but, for the sake of your selfish needs, you did not stop her! In fact, you gave her permission to do so much more and go further than she ever did. I have never felt so disgusted in my entire life! I puke every time it flashes before my eyes! Every time I look at you, Father, do you know what I see?"

He grinned. "I see a monster beyond what you could call a beast."

"I’m not worth it, you say? Because I was born of a maid? Well, you see, I am not the one who could not keep his thing in place. You could have avoided having me. But of course, you couldn’t sit yourself down and keep your sh*t in one—"

An unexpected heavy punch once again hit his face, causing him to fall to the floor. The punch was from Old Master Lenort, who had gotten furious by his words. He had advanced toward him in the blink of an eye that Valentine had not anticipated it at all.
